There is nothing like a group of New Yorkers who suddenly get the urge for some pizza, no matter where you are. We were in Jasper just strolling the streets when the urge came for some lunch. It had to be pizza. I remembered seeing this shop on a video I watched about Jasper just prior to coming here. It was easy to find and we grabbed a table outside. A beautiful day and view. We went inside and ordered a couple of pies. Based on the amount of tickets that were on the line and there was just one pizza maker, we thought this might take a while. They had a lot of people both eating in and taking out. This is one busy place. There was one chef and one person delivering and wrapping orders. Together they made a good-efficient pair. It's easy... pick the size pizza you want, select the toppings and you wait. After a short wait the pizzas were delivered and we had a chance to eat. Pie were very good. Nice crispy crust, tasty sauce and plenty of rich tasty cheese. Our friends had the plain and we had mushrooms and sausage. Everything was tasty-good and fresh. We had a yearning for pizza came across North Face Pizza on Main St Jasper. It was nothing fancy, but the pizza itself was delicious. They have a wide selection of foods from sandwiches, to pasta's to fries. It was exactly what we wanted. No frills, great food made to order. Order and pay at the counter. They have takeaway & eat in options. The staff are very nice and helpful when trying to choose because the menu is quite large. This pizzeria is perfect for families. Excellent Pizzas, my wife and daughter had a half cheese half pepperoni. The crust was thick but tasted light and not overfilling. Very generous cheese, couldn't see the red sauce through the cheese. I had a bacon cheese burger, I could tell it was freshly made not frozen. The French fries were hand cut , you know the ones with the skin on the ends & they were cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and moist inside . Not cool... paid 20$ for a pizza with no sauce, not the extra cheese or spinach I asked for, plus the wing that I asked for with extra sauce were like pretty bland indeed. It was on time and all, but I can get better pizzas from the grocery store for like 7 bucks.... this place used to have way better crust, great amount of toppings. We were in downtown Jasper and decided to try this place. My husband and I sat inside. The waitress was really nice and friendly. We ordered our food and the entire time we were waiting the guy cooking the food was yelling at the other helpers and cussing about everything. And it's not like he is in the back where customers can't see or hear him. It's an open kitchen. It was ridiculous. I'm not sure if he was the owner or not. Up at the counter we ordered veggie burgers, the best deal in the house - amazingly priced at $5.25, they're topped with pesto, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and sprouts. So tasty. After about 11pm this is the only place downtown to get food (open until 2am). They have limited seating inside currently due to the pandemic, but you can carry out. On a Friday night they were crazy busy, the phone was ringing off the hook and people were coming into the store to place orders. The wait time was given to us as ~30-35 min. Unfortunately when we came back after 35 min they realized they had forgotten our order so we have to wait another 15 min or so. They offered and refunded our money which was really nice of them, and still gave us the food. The pizza was decently sized for two (we ordered meat lovers). It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was good, hot and hit the spot since we missed dinner. read more

A group of friends and I visited North Face Pizza and had a great time while we were there. Staff was so friendly and patience. We were a group of 12 and they manage to take our orders with no mistakes. 12 personal pizzas, some salads, poutines, pops and beers; everything taste really good, we all enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and the food. As any other business in Jasper is hard to park really close to it unless you are really lucky, so be ready to walk couple of blocks if needed. Bathrooms were in perfect conditions. If you are under a budget, this place can help you to keep it under control. Depending the number of your party, service can be a little slow but remember, this are hand made pizzas so service it is not as fast as just picking up a sandwich. If you visit Jasper town, give them a change, you will have a good time and good food. read more

I visit Jasper every year and rarely do not go to North Face pizza . I could be my favourite pizza anywhere. But twice now my order has either been completely misplaced or made out of order. I order my food , told the girl I will be back in ten or fifteen. I came back and had a seat close to the til. Another customer came in and made an order. His order was done before mine and he ordered at least 15 minutes after me. They need to get this figured out, it's a little annoying. read more

My wife and I were looking for a nice place for Lunch. We stopped in and ordered a pizza and a Ceasar salad. Salad was too big for just two people to share. It was great. We just ordered a basic pepperoni pizza with light sauce and it was gear as well. Pizza, salad and a a couple of sodas for about 22 bucks sound fair to us. There were no leftovers of pizza. So many food options here! Pizza, pasta, poutine, salad, burgers, anything really! I got the lasagna and though it took a while to come out, it was freshly made and piping hot when I received it! There was a nice thick layer of cheese at the top, and the meat sauce was delicious. Two people could have definitely shared the lasagna as it was huge! Excellent and great quality! Loved their house salad and that amazing dressing. Adding Cajun chicken to the salad completed my meal. My husband had their 1lb wings and those were some solid wings. To be honest, this is an average pizza shop and one of the only reasonably priced options for eating out in Jasper. Therefore, on that alone I should give it four stars, but I just wasn't wowed by the pizza. However, if you are looking for a low-cost alternative then this is probably of your best bets. The pizza is well-made (not amazing), but as another person noted, the "Italian sausage" was just a hot dog cut up. The rest of the ingredients were pretty solid but it was kind of frustrating to pay extra for hot dogs. Anyway, the menu also has numerous other items, such as hamburgers, salads, chicken tenders, and sandwiches, so it really is a great place to go for dinner. There are about 10 or so tables with some seating at the window so it's a pretty good sized place and can definitely accommodate a larger party. The staff were friendly and everything came out really quickly.All-in-all it was a good experience, especially for the price. read more

I lived in Jasper for more than 20 years and I loved North Face food. tonight I am staying in a hotel passing through town and thought I would try them again. I ordered the grilled chicken burger with well-done fries Karma extra napkins, extra salt and pepper and extra ketchup. Sounds easy right! But, there were no napkins there was one salt and five Peppers you know the kind with almost no pepper in them there was six ketchups but three of them are stuck together in the most disgusting thing I have ever seen delivered to a room. so I sent that back to have the manager take a look at it then when I started eating I realized that the fries were old fries they had just dropped into the deep fryer to make them well done. they may have been the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. How do I know? I've been a chef for 35 years, and I've seen almost everything. So I'm an understanding guy and I call the manager and I tell her about the fries at which point she lies to me says she cooked them herself and that's not what happened. well it is what happened. Now, I admit I used an expletive when I described what the fries were they were effing disgusting I said, at which point she told me " no I was disgusting" and hung up the phone. So Not only was the food garbage the manager is a liar the person who packed the bag can't figure out what extra napkins and extra ketchup and salt and pepper means! Oh and to add to the fun, the delivery driver didn't bring an interact machine for me to pay so he had to go back to the store and get it. Do not waste your time and money ordering from North Face Pizza the once great restaurant has turned to a pile of crap!!!! I never expected one of my favorite restaurants to fall so far. read more

It is true that reviews are subjective, but I just can't wrap around that idea of North Face being the best of the best... lol. They probably never tried pizza from NYC, Naples, etc... but who am I to judge! I am giving North Face FOUR FCKING STARS because they're pizzas are good enough. They are not the best. But they do the trick. Best part of it all is that they are inexpensive. Compared to the other "pizzerias" in town.... that apparently serve 24k gold dusted pizzas.........yeah no. Terrible! I arrived to pick up my food at the agreed upon time. Unfortunately it wasn't ready. I was told it would be another half hour because they got slammed with orders. I'm not sure why new orders displaced mine? I tipped them regardless, and now I wish I hadn't. When we opened the pizza at home it was virtually burnt on top and the crust was hard and dry. We didn't see any sauce in the pizza either! The only saving grace was that they replaced the pizza. It arrived in another half an hour after we virtually finished eating the rest of the meal. North Face Pizza is without a doubt the best pizza you'll ever eat! (They also have wings, poutine, etc) This place is small, but there are tables for you to eat in if you'd like. They deliver in Jasper until 2 am, so it's a perfect late night bite. This place far surpasses and restaurant pizza I've eaten and you can't beat the price. This pizza is so good, in fact, that we actually ordered it 3 times during our weekend stay in Jasper. The pizza here is amazing. It's kind of that Greek style pizza with thick crust and lots of cheese. We customized our order and got the white sauce with garlic shrimp and feta - amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable here too - if you are on a budget, this is the place to eat lunch/supper. The atmosphere - well, I wouldn't go for a romantic meal here - but it's great for families and is very casual. The location is fantastic.
