Gayle's gobbled up choice didn't make it to our train (Via Canadian towards Vancouver), while I saved mine for coffee on board. Unfortunately, Gayle and I just scratched the surface of this place as there's cakes, pastries, and other goodies (plus coffee). I wish we could come back. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating along with some outdoor patio seating. We checked in with the host and got seated soon after. It was quite loud inside, but not too bad. The dinner menu is quite extensive with multiple options for appetizers and entrees. The bonus was the great happy hour menu, which had several options. Unfortunately, they were out of the tacos and charred corn + avocado dip. But we were able to order crispy chicken skewers, pizza, petite steak frites, and chips and salsa. The portions were larger than expected, and when ordering, I initially thought that we would need more food, but then changed my mind later. Customer service was excellent and wonderful. Our server, Laura was friendly and welcoming. She answered a few questions, checked in regularly, and had suggested a great mocktail, which was nice and refreshing.
