Even though it was very busy we scored a few counter seats, which allowed me to enjoy my sticky bun and White Mocha before heading to Maligne Lake. I liked them both, I'd rate them as about average. What I really liked was my Apple Square that I ate hours later. It was crumbly with a lot of apple flavor. Service was efficient and fine. We are glad we stopped in.

I went there for breakfast at 8am, and the bakery was packed. The place was not so big, but I love the "wood" vibe. Their coffee is really good, very smooth. They had a good variety of pastry. I am a fan of scone so I ordered the spicy scone and the cheese scone. The spicy scone was way too much for me, too spicy I can't finished it. But the cheese scone, I loved it! Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jasper.

Our lattes tasted great and mine had the cutest bear latte art. We got the short rib poutine, which I couldn't stop talking about through the rest of the day. And to top off our great experience, the staff was so helpful and accommodating when I realized several days later that I had left my purse at the restaurant. They offered to mail it back to me in the US and did so the same day I realized I had called about leaving it. Great people all around!

I got the vegan blt (note the tofu is marinated in soy sauce so it's not gluten free) on gluten free bread and they actually gave me 2 sandwiches because the regular bread is massive. My husband got the regular blt and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both got the side of potatoes and they were warm, crispy, and creamy all at once. We liked this place so much we even ordered online the next morning and picked it up on our way to Banff. If you have any food allergies - they're super helpful and knowledgeable about their food, so be sure to ask any questions!

Unlike US Danish, it's thinner and less sweet. The nutty topping was delicious. The danish was on the drier side but still good. They also have sandwiches, salads, desserts and coffee. Great place to stop for a coffee/tea break after walking around down and have lunch.

Gayle's gobbled up choice didn't make it to our train (Via Canadian towards Vancouver), while I saved mine for coffee on board. Unfortunately, Gayle and I just scratched the surface of this place as there's cakes, pastries, and other goodies (plus coffee). I wish we could come back. There's also the main Bear's Paw a few blocks away, which shouldn't make any difference, except for maybe the size of the line-up.
