The local game and seafood, both in varying forms, were the tempters. We got our table, and we sat down. Drinks first - CRFT Blonde Ale was a winner - and a lovely herbed bread and butter started us off. Menu choice this night focused on the game dishes. Some calamari to start too, though our hunger made a short life of that starter at our table. And then we got our mains. Well-prepared, unpretentious, flavorful, and - for us - just the right proportions. My bison medallions - ordered rare - were prepared just perfectly, with (as I told my son) the only instance of spaghetti squash that I think I have ever liked (alongside other well-prepared veggies as well).
