While on a walk in the early evening, we passed by ONO and decided to stop by to check it out. The feature pizza, agrodolce pepperoni, stood out, so pizza it was for dinner that night! This was my first time trying ONO and usually prefer thin crust pizza as I don't like my pizza too doughy. There's something very unique about their dough and crust which I really enjoyed. It was a very delicious and flavourful pizza with fresh ingredients. It's fair pricing for a gourmet pizza that's made to order and I like how they offer different feature pizzas to keep things interesting. I ordered for pick up at 5:45pm and my pizza was boxed at exactly that time. Definitely worth trying and will be returning!

The crust had nice crunch without being dry. However, crust flavour in the fermentation process could be better developed. The sauce also was really lacking flavour; hard to tell it was vodka sauce and tomato sauce and both needed more salt. The cheese was very good with great melt and cheese pull,

Really enjoyed the pizza here, crust was the perfect amount of crispy, chewy and thickness. Every slice was loaded with toppings. Their dipping sauces were also delicious. For the wings they were still very tasty but felt like they lacked a bit of salt. The taste was there but it was also bland at the same time.

One Night Only might be my new favorite pizza shop in Toronto, and I just went to Badiali last week. The dough is just perfect. You get a satisfying *crunch* every single bite, yet it is not overwhelming and doesn't hurt the roof of your mouth. There is no sag at all, and the toppings just perfectly stick to the slice no matter what. Every slice comes with a free sour cream dip which perfectly complements each bite. The atmosphere is simple yet romantic and perfectly embodies the neighborhood pizza joint. The service was super friendly, and you could just tell they were passionate people making amazing food for their community. I went on a Saturday around 2 p.m. and there was no line (which seems crazy to me). Got my 3 slices within 5 minutes and blissfully ate them on their seating arrangement right outside the shop. The pricing was more than fair. I got 3 big slices with 3 dips (free with each slice) and a can of soda for 23$. ONO might seem a little out of the way, but it is absolutely worth the detour. It is without question in the conversation for the best pizza place in the city.

Located just south of The Danforth on the corner of Pape/Wroxeter. There is plenty of free on-street parking and a nice patio setup to enjoy your pie. Luke truly demonstrates his passion with the pizza craft he has mastered with the pies he serves up I was fortunate to have the specialty ONO 6 (vegetarian) and a Roni slice. The taste and texture is hands down the best I have encountered in Toronto and my many travels. Will definitely find more excuses to come back and enjoy this great find.

The pizza here might be the best in Toronto - I've tried a few spots but this place blew me away. We tried the red roof pie (about. $30) that came with bacon, pepperoni, and sausage. The toppings came together super well but the thing that I'll never forget was the absolutely flawless crust - perfectly firm and crispy. The pizza was absolutely delicious overall. The staff were also super friendly and even recommended us a few other pizza spots to try once we told them we were planning to hit up a few other spots as well! Loved every part of it - best pizza spot in town and regret not coming here sooner!

Visit this hidden local pizza shop near Pape Station. It was honesty the best pizza I have in the GTA. Ordered the Red Roof pizza and was delicious. Super hot pizza and had the freshest ingredients with tons of meat toppings ( such as their smoked bacon, pepperoni and homemade sauasage) for meat lovers, topped of with some basil on it. The dough was soft, not too thin and was not floppy. Their House dipping sauce and hot honey is also a must try. Friendly staff when picking up the pizza with some seating outside to enjoy a good slice. A wonderful pizza experience and will come back to try the other pizzas!

Ok, is there some underground Yelp mafia that's trying to keep this place hush-hush and all to themselves? Because daaaaang that was one good pizza, and deserves more buzz on here! One Night Only offers 6 standard pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, spicy pepperoni, spicy potato, mushroom, ONO 6ix) and a weekly special. All pies are 16 inches and need to be pre-ordered. Also, this is strictly takeout and only open on Wednesdays-Saturdays. All this makes ONO seem so limited. But you know what? If you're good, it doesn't matter! Tried their weekly special recently and by the first bite I knew I'd be back for more. The thin crust was perfectly made - not overly crispy, not limp and soggy, firm enough to hold everything on it and tasty on to itself. The toppings were generous, the cheese was sticky. And oh the pie came out piping hot! A note: ONO isn't hype-proof and, depending on your stance on thin crust pizzas, isn't for everyone. But man, I loved it. This definitely won't be a one night affair I'm having with ONO.

Best Pizza in the city. It's only a small take out place with some seating outside. It's an open kitchen, you can see the pizza being made. You need to scan from a menu and the selection of pizza's are limited, there are other menu items. We didn't try any of them, but are planning to come back for wings ... and more pizza. The service is excellent. The owners are working and you can tell this place is their baby. The pizza takes a few minutes to cook, but it's well worth the wait. It had my dream crust. It was crispy and a little chewy, the topping's were the perfect portions to the sauce and crust. It tasted so good. They were very good at offering make your own pizza, or add tipping to the existing pizza but it's not what they specialize in. My husband loved the spicy. Enough heat and taste not to need tobacco. I'd like an overhead menu, we like talking to people, we don't use technology as much as the young people. We will definitely be returning. Best pizza and service ever.

"Cheese" pie review: Cash only. Ordered 16" pie, "well done." The cheese (a mix of aged and fresh mozz' with some parmesan for garnish) was "fine," but lacked notes of sharpness. The richness was there. The tomato sauce was dull tasting but not bad (not as dislikeable as Mac's). The dough under the cheese was a bit under-done but since the underside was beautfully crisp (and amazingly no char anywhere), the contrast was very tolerable. The best part of the pie, in my opinion, was that, astonishingly, there was no charring (perhaps appealing to the health-conscious), yet the dough is beautifully crisp, as if it was fried (but not at all greasy). Not as light/airy as Mac's Pizza's dough, but the crispness with the lack of char is noteworthingly very impressive. It is also important to note that almost weekly, they have new pizzas on the menu, which is unheard of. Definitely worth trying of their other pies with more pungent taste profiles. 'North Of Brooklyn' used to have new pies regularly, but only monthly. I highly appreciate how ONO Pizza doesn't advertise their pizza as any "type" or style of pizza. Likewise with Mac's Pizza and Mark's Pizza. It's like part of a new wave of Canadian/Toronto pizza. Definitely a must visit if in this pizza-starved neighbourhood, off the Danforth, and are seeking a contemporary, New-World/Canadian/Toronto pizza. Highly recommend getting it "well done."

This pizza is fire yo. $30 for a pie isn't cheap but I would definitely go back. They're open weird hours and I don't believe there's any seating if I'm not mistaken, but damn it's a good pie!

Best pizza in the city full of great pizza. Parking and cash only makes it more challenging, but worth it once you taste the product.

It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Nice local Italian restaurant that is enjoyed by us locals as well as those who come down for shows…read moreat the St Lawrence ctr for the arts and the Meridian Hall as well as sports fan here for games. They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
