Have heard about this place on social media as its frequently talked about as some of Toronto's best pizza. I'd say its alright. Ordered the Pepperoni Mushroom Pizza ($35) and Mozzarella Sticks ($12). The pizza is a big one at 18' so you'll have no problem being full here. It's loaded with toppings and generally good. I just thought there's nothing really to it? It's an ok pie at a very premium price. The dough and crust had a good taste to it but other than that nothing stood out. Overhyped? Maybe. Overpriced? yeah...
Solid pizza spot in Toronto! Passed by this place so many times and finally decided to give it a try with some friends and really enjoyed the pizza! We also got donuts, which I thought were just okay but I would definitely come back to try another flavour and would order their pizza again.
I'd heard about Fourth Man in the Fire for years--especially when Ryan Reynolds name-dropped it while talking about his Toronto roots. Naturally, it shot to the top of my "must-try" list. Finally made the trip, and I have to say, the pizza dough lives up to the hype. Thin, crispy, with just the right chew--it's the kind of base that holds its own. I ordered the Margherita, my usual benchmark for any new pizza spot. While I wasn't blown away by the toppings, the dough definitely carried the show. The space has that classic, no-fuss vibe, and service was quick. If you're into solid, New York-style slices and value a good crust, it's absolutely worth checking out.
I usually get a slice of pizza to go or a donut, but decided to stop in to try the Real American Hoagie sandwich. I think this sandwich is definitely meant for sharing as it's huge!!! 10 out of 10! Bursting with filling and with freshly made bread. Great flavours. What's in it: Provolone, Cooked Prosciutto, Hot and Sweet Venetian Salami, Pepperoni, Shredded Lettuce, Pickled Red Onion, Balsamic Vinaigrette. Served on Fresh Baked to Order Bread I've only been for an eat-in dinner. The restaurant doesn't seem like it's really set up for a proper sit down lunch crowd, despite there being a few tables of people finishing up pizza. The vibe is more take-out, than have a seat and enjoy the food. There's tall shelves of donuts all around and staff putting finishing touches on donuts. The donuts are a must try as is the pizza. They do have a pizza slice and donut combo.
A surprisingly good pizza which I did not expect! We started with breadsticks which were among the best I've had, they were hot, crispy & tasty! The service was very good, our server was Z and he was patient and gave good tips! We got the family bundle which was 2 staters, 2 pizza, and 4 drinks! We got a Hawaiian pizza with jalapeños and then a Sausage & pepperoni both were exceptional! We finished off by getting a1/2 dozen donuts. It's not often we get to spoil out grandsons so this was a great opportunity. Z, had a lot of patience dealing with a 10 & 12 trying to select a doughnut! The restaurant wasn't crowded due to the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. Couldn't have asked for a better time to enjoy great pizza!
Tried their slices today before ordering a full size pizza in the future. Both were a 10/10. Delicious!!!!
been here twice and this place is better then average in comparison to most pizza places both times coming here the restaurant was packed, and unfortunately didn't think to book a reservation in advanced (one of my few faults) when you get the food, in this case pizza, you start to understand why it's packed, the flavors are crazy good, the restaurant makes substitutions for topping changes, in this case, removing cilantro from pizza, and the dip is above average. the first visit, our table was given menus, but the second visit our table was told to use the QR code on the table, unfortunately with the QR code and us doing separate bills, once i submitted my order "the table" was locked from another order being put in, which caused frustration with both us and the staff alike, as the restaurant was slammed as previously stated. there is also inconsistency, as the first visit, we were offered free donuts as a complimentary dessert item, and the second visit we got nothing. I don't know if someone was going out of the way to be nice on the first visit and maybe shouldn't have done that, but that shouldn't be the case, as it sets a bad president better then average food, but not my favorite for this neighborhood after the experience with the inconsistency across the service and something as simple as the menu/QR codes.
Small patio with about 7 tables to sit outside and enjoy the pizza. We built our own and the pizza is massive. A little pricey, but would go again
I ordered their pizza using Uber eats and to my delight and surprise they don't raise their prices a lot if at all from their website. Maybe I'm wrong cause the website might use Uber or some other delivery services so I am mistaken but nonetheless it was a pleasant surprise Now the pizza was a light crisp crust. Not too thin but not super thick. I had to reheat it cause it wasn't hot when it arrived but that isn't an issue for me I've read their pizzas are one of the best in town and I would agree it's really good
The donuts here are the best in the city. The pizza, however, is decent, but not living up to the hype. The crust is thin and crispy, but lacking the flavour from fermentation and the fluffy interior. The sauce is nicely balanced to the cheese; I find some places really skimp on the sauce and they do not here. It's an elevated fast food pizza; hits the spot if you're nearby, but not worth the long wait for delivery or to go out of your way for.
I was doing a little pizza crawl across Toronto with a friend and The Fourth Man in the Fire was our second stop! I've heard good things about this spot and this was my first time stopping by. The staff were very nice and even though we bought a slice to-go, we were able to grab a seat to eat in their dining room. However, it was a weekday afternoon so not that busy. What we got: - Margherita Slice + Donut + Drink Combo Final Thoughts: Their slices are quite large, I asked before purchasing and I believe they said one slice is 1/5 of a full pizza! A slice on its own runs about $7 and a donut alone ranges from $4-5, but you can get a combo with both and a drink for $11.29 total. The Margherita slice was on the cheesier side which I liked and the donut was a good sweet treat though a little too sweet for my taste. Considering the cost, this wouldn't be my first pick for a quick slice but I'd stop in again.
Fire pizza, one of the best in the city. Not too greasy, big, and tastyyyy. The garlic dip pairs so well too. Its hard to stop stuffing yourself with pizza this good. Will definitely be back to try some of the sandwiches.
Wow really good pizza. Great crisp, flavour, cheese, the whole bit. Everything you want in a pizza. Walked in on a Thursday afternoon and took a seat on the patio. Ordered a large Margherita. A little on the expensive side (38$) but I guess that's pretty standard these days. Ordered a side of garlic dip. Would've hoped for it to be more garlicky but still good. Got some doughnuts after for dessert. 10/10. Soft and fluffy, not too sweet. Will definitely return! Tons of seating space inside definitely a nice spot.
Such a quaint neighborhood pizzeria! Loved the ambiance, our pizza and desserts! The owner who closed out my ticket walked me through the donuts of the day. She was very friendly. Takeout: 14" 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 Italian sausage 1 classic cinnamon bun and 1 chocolate cake donut. The pizza was NY style thin crust with great sauce and plenty of pepperoni & Italian sausage. It was savory and spicy all at once. Great flavor and crust, even the following day. The cinnamon bun was fluffy, cinnamon packed goodness. The donut was good as well.. a usual donut. The decor has framed photos of famous folks with clever quotes. It's got a nice neighborhood family friendly Italian vibe! read more

One of my top pizza spots. They don't have a reservation option online, you have to call in to reserve. They have great dipping sauce options and I highly recommend the hot honey. Also, don't forget to try one of their delicious donuts on your way out. read more

Lady behind the counter is super friendly and provides amazing customer service. Pizza slices and doughnuts are the incredible. I drove all the way from Richmond Hill just to eat here. read more
Oh my!!! So delicious. We are on the patio first. Meatball sandwich and caprese salad. The portions are grande. Everything, even the bread was made in house. Delicious!!! Afterwards we grabbed doughnuts - also made in house. They are the best doughnuts I have ever had. So yummy and fresh with tonnes of variations. We bought a bunch so we could sample and could not choose a favourite. The service is excellent and the storefront is tidy and quaint. Our servers were Z and Vanessa. And other staff were also wonderful. read more
I had late lunch today at The Fourth Man in the Fire. I had initially sat on the patio. but it started to rain a bit so I moved inside. I ordered a ponzo with pepperoni. When it arrived, I didn't realize how HUGE it would be!! It was delicious and I took lots home for leftovers. As I was leaving, I passed by the donut counter and couldn't resist getting a chocolate coconut donut for later. Socrates was my server and he took excellent care of me! read more

I was expecting a lot more from this place after reading all the reviews. What's good? The restaurant has a nice cool retro vibe. The wait staff was nice and courteous. We ordered a veggie pizza. There were dollops of the tomato sauce which was quite good. Also there was not too much cheese that you end up feeling sick after a few slices. So all that's good. What's not so good? The pizza was a little too burnt at some places. Also, the value for money was pretty disappointing. $20+ dollar for a decent veggie pizza felt like a bit much. It's not like there some fancy ingredients on the pizza- mushrooms, peppers and onions. Maybe if there were some premium ingredients like artichokes or arugula or a drizzle of pesto, I would gladly pay a premium. But it felt like a bit much. Overall, the experience was just about ok. read more

Food was amazing. The pizzas with more toppings may need to use fork a knife. They are not stingy with the toppings and the balance between sauce and cheese was perfect. Also tried the mozzarella sticks (not pictures) and they were tasty and came with a large marinara sauce. I enjoyed the margherita pizza and the other side of the table had good things to say about the Hawaiian and Canadian mix. The service was great and server was nice and attentive. They gave us the option to have half of one type of pizza and half of another which was helpful as we shared two pizzas over 6 people who liked different things. The seating was comfy, they had padded chairs. Washroom was clean and stalls were spacious. Patio looked nice and will probably be great for the warmer seasons. Will definitely come back to try more! read more
Finally checking another pizza parlor off my "To Try List", next one up was Fourth Man! For my first ever pie from them, I went for their MEATBALL AND PEPPER PIZZA. It is decked out with tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella blend, fresh mozzarella, homemade meatballs and fresh green peppers. Overall a really good flavor without the extra saltiness. Their homemade meatballs were absolutely delicious and tender, while their green peppers gave a nice crunch with each bite. I do wish the tomato sauce had a little more "oomph" to it but no complaints otherwise. As you know by now, the crust is a huge part of my rating and this one is a win for me. There are small air bubbles and a slight chew which I love, but it wasn't overly airy, more crunchy due to how thin it was. Despite this thin crust, each slice held itself together. I paired this with their CREAMY GARLIC sauce which was also well-made. Price point: 14" pie for $24.25; 18" pie for $31.75 read more
Bookmarked this place a while ago and checked it out on Saturday night. The owner brought Burger's Priest to us and then opened a pizza shop. They also run a donut shop in the same store. The donuts seem to sell out by the early afternoon so come early if you would like to try them. You've been warned - order ahead! We went at seven o'clock and was told that it would be a 50 minute wait. Fortunately it wasn't too cold so we walked along Dundas to kill time. The decor is really cute with moss green and white colours. It looks like an old school pizzeria. You order from the sliding glass door on Euclid. The lady taking orders had an amazing memory and was super friendly. Since this was our first time, we wanted to try a little bit of everything. Panzo- Oozing with cheese and filled with my favourite toppings of pepperoni and mushroom, the small can easily feed 4 people. We shared it and had this over two meals. Fried perfectly, it was so good. The panzo also comes with marinara sauce. Brooklyn Style Pizza - Thick crust and also very good. The basic comes with cheese, basil and sauce. We added pepperoni and mushroom. Coconut Cream Pie - Made in house, it was very good. The crust has coconut pieces as well. It was decadent and very large in size. Dipping Sauces - Hot Honey and Ranch. Both were perfect! The Hot Honey went really well with the pizza. I can't eat here everyday because the portions are large and greasy, but it was a very nice treat meal. Can't wait to try this place again. Good for: pizza, treat meal read more
The Fourth Man in The Fire is one of our favourite pizzas in Toronto. Ever since they first open we've been enjoying their pizza every time we've been. - The best pizza for me consists of a well done bottom with a good crunch, abundance of ingredients, tasty sauce and a crust that is actually enjoyable. Their pizza is the perfect example of what good pizza should be. - The thing I love the most about their menu is the fact that there is only very few options and it is all family style pies. THE WAY PIZZA SHOULD BE! to be shared and eaten by everyone. The only disadvantage of their service is the fact that you have to order through their website. It doesn't allow you to interact and get any recommendations from their service team. I would say this is something that was respectable during the pandemic, but now that things are over we feel like adding servers will allow for people to be more comfortable with ordering beyond what is displayed on their screens and get a taste of their fan faves without having to guess (don't let this stop you from trying them!). They have a partnership with a donut shop, with donuts that look very delicious. Unfortunately we haven't been able to try them yet, but we promised ourselves that we would try them on our next visit. Their ambiance is very quaint and simple, feels very much like a NY pizzeria, just on Dundas St. in Toronto haha! I love the very relax and chill vibes from their establishment. A simplicity that goes above and beyond when it comes to their food. read more
Tried the Pepperoni Pizza slice and way too salty! The ratio of the cheese vs sauce is not proportioned well and the bottom is soggy and not crispy. The Margherita on the other hand is bland and lacking in flavour. Good thing we only tried their slices and not the whole pie. No comparison to other New York style Pizza in Toronto and puzzled with all the 5 star reviews. Way overrated IMO! They're also selling donuts as well and bought the Chocolate Creme Filled to try. Big mistake to buy as the donut is doughy on the inside and still raw in the middle as you can see in my pic. The Fourth Man in the Fire Lady staff telling us: I know you will love our pizza and will be back again. Me after trying their mediocre pizza & undercooked donut: I don't think so!!! read more

Happened to be in the area so picked up some takeout. Walked in and ordered a slice of pizza, ended up ordering a second slice to try both options that they had available. They were super nice, and customer service wise they had me when they offered up the option to buy some fresh in house donuts. They even gave their favourites, and popular options that other people like to get, which made choosing all the better. I know this is a pizza joint but the donuts were great! Nice and light! read more
