This is a small pizza spot on the Mimico strip just north of San Remo. Opened up just before covid and has been a bit of a hidden gem imo. Food (4.5/5) - tried a couple of the slices. They are Neopolitan style but with NY pizza texture and smaller cornicione. Nice chewy texture and good for folding. Margherita was very solid and the Meat Lover's was also good with a bit of spice to it. Wide menu and also the ability to do custom build your own pizzas which is nice. Service (4.5/5) - friendly and attentive and my slices were quick. Atmosphere (4.5/5) - small with a couple places to sit along with a nice open window looking out in the summer. Build-your-own 18" pizza: There's such a wide range of toppings to choose from meat lovers to vegetarian picks. For my custom pizza, I got pepperoni, sausage, chicken and pancetta. The ratio from cheese, sauce and toppings were perfect portions it never felt like one was overpowering the other. The sauce tasted different from the standard tomato sauce which is nice. The crust was really great, it wasn't too thin and found the texture to be a good kind of chewy. I was a bit unfamiliar with some of the toppings so I highly recommend doing some quick searches to see what they are because you might end up finding something new! Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that it really met beyond my expectations as I was expecting typical pizza. The price range is quite on par with other Italian pizza spots so it isn't too steep for the price. Revolver is now my 'go to' pizza place. We have ordered takeout from them on two occasions during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can order delivery through Uber Eats or pick-up by directly calling them. Right on Royal York, south of Evans, there's free one hour parking in front of the store so it's easy to access. Pricing wise, it's more than your chains, but they use quality products so worth every penny. The arancini and stuffed peppers were okay so go with their pizzas. We were debating if we should eat here when we randomly came across it after visiting San Remo bakery next door. I'm so glad we decided to eat here. Reviews don't lie - it's one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten! Their 1UP pizza is so amazing and we asked for their truffle honey on the side because we didn't know how it would be on pizza. Boy, were we so surprised how well all the flavors blended together! We are glad that we saved the amazing truffle honey because we used it in our salad we made at home and I'm now obsessively looking to buy truffle honey online. I thought the cheese was a great mix. It was their 4 cheese (Bianca)- fontina, fior di latte, havarti and parmigiano. Felt a lot of similarity to the conspiracy cheese pizza which I rate highly. Wings were solid no complaints there. It won't blow you away and it's clear not what their known for. The arancini on the other hand were fire. Cute little spot on Royal York that opened up pre-covid. Pizza is AMAZING! Their pizza is done in a wood burning oven and each pizza they curate is done to perfection. Our fav go to is the 1 up (mushroom and truffle honey) prosciutto (prosciutto and arugula and balsamic) and the build your own (pepp, spicy salami and spicy sausage). I understand they change their menu seasonally so can't wait to see what new pizza's are coming up. Their dips are also SOOOO good. We esp like the garlic dip and also the hot honey. I was looking forward to trying this pizza. Very disappointed when I opened the box and saw that a good portion of the pizza was burnt. Burnt on the top and the bottom edge of the crust. Deserves minimum 4.5 score. The 18" is $27 here at least (most pies), which is nice. (North Of Brooklyn does 18" for $22 at least (Marge and NY Cheese). Ordered the 4-cheese pie (the mozzerella in it makes it 5 cheese), and was WOW'd. They did not skimp one bit on the toppings! Toppings were piled high, thin crust (how it should be), toppings almost to the edge, edge had beautiful light char, and pie had that slight orange hue...phenomenal flavour. They had olive oil at the window counter and red chili flakes too. They use a wood-burning oven and it really works fantastic with the dough they're using. Only (minor) gripe: This is a pizza that would taste optimal when "almost well done" or "well done" (to get that crispiness out) and it was my first time here so did not ask for that. Would have made it practically-perfect pie (for me, maybe you). They charge at least $3-$4 for sesame seeds on edge. North Of Brooklyn is free... I would safely say better than FBI Pizza (not too far away on Lakeshore Blvd.), and in top 5 (easily) in Toronto for top pie! read more

I ordered a sausage rap pizza, and it was okay. The pizza was very floppy, and didn't have any crunch to speak of. Probably the biggest offender was the low amount to no seasoning in the sauce - it was quite bland and you need a little more of it. They really need to add salt to the sauce and just make the pizza's flavour not come almost entirely from the dough. Dips are required for this one. Maybe their other pizzas are tastier, by why does their menu have something so bland then? Take it off. Still, there was nothing inherently wrong with it - no major problems. The dough is fresh and it was not undercooked. But I think you could really do better elsewhere in Etobicoke. I know I could make a tastier pie at home, even when I don't have the same cooking vessel they likely have in the restaurant. Just by making a home-made sauce and using some fresh sausage, I know my pizza would taste a lot better - and not cost $40. Ordered a calzone for delivery and it was probably the best calzone I've ever had. The garlic dip was also fantastic. Will definitely be back to try out more pizzas and flavours.
