Love their 120 piece of pepperoni. I will consider this place overpriced at almost 50$ for a large but its worth it for a once in a while pig out session. Highly recommend their white garlic dip and black garlic dips as they are house made and the perfect compliment.

I ordered for pick up via their Ambassador website so I cannot comment about the restaurant itself but the ease of ordering was great! I highly recommend it. I decided to go all in for my first time here which meant opting in for their MEAT LOVERS PIZZA, loaded with beef prosciutto, Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, and ham, on marina sauce and mozzarella cheese. As you can imagine, it was a pretty heavy and filling slice, which trended on the saltier and greasier side (as expected). It left me wanting more cheese but the flavor profile was well thought out. I wished for an airier and chewier crust, but it was thin to my liking. I'm thankful that they offer a "custom half & half signature pizza" option which made trying another one of their delicious flavors an easy task. I went with their ITALIAN SAUSAGE PIZZA which has a marina sauce base, topped with mozzarella cheese, and Italian sausage. I actually preferred this over their Meat Lovers as it offered a better ratio between cheese and meat for more balance. Also, it was overall less greasy and less salty.

Medium half pepperoni, sausage and jalapeno. Half cheese and jalapeno. This was an exception

The pizza at this location doesn't quite measure to what we see in the viral videos. However the pizza is not bad. The sauce is very raw and not like traditional pizza sauce. Service was good and the outside was cutesy.

June 6/2024: The oh so glorious pepperoni grease the dripped from the Black Garlic 120 piece pepperoni pizza ($32.48/w tip) was a delicious assault on my nostrils! The garlic flavour was fantastically aromatic & the crunchiness of the crust was amazing. The the young guy that worked as cashier/chef was nice enough to provide complimentary, a small container of black garlic & ranch dipping sauce, which were both fantastic. The service provided was polite & fast from a warm "old style" pizzeria environment! This is a definite do over from my end!

Half and half classic fungi and black garlic pepperoni! Black garlic is a must try

My favourite pizza place in the city. I absolutely love the black garlic pizza and garlic dip which has a stronger garlic flavour. Service is nice and quick, they were really patient with me answering my questions about the black garlic pizza! Ambiance is nice they have a handful of tables with a very relaxed environment.

Pizza was decent but definitely not worth the hype on social media. Looks way better than it tastes. We ordered 2 pizzas - the pepperoni pizza and the cheese lava pie. Service was practically nonexistent even though we ate inside the restaurant. It's a cute spot but I don't recommend eating in; you'll get better service for takeout. I wouldn't return as I've had much better pizza elsewhere.

They are extremely busy on a Saturday night 7:20PM. Wait time was about 45 minutes. I don't get the hype. Thin pizza, but the crust was way too crunchy. The black garlic flavor added a good flavor to the pizza, but not every surface was covered with black garlic. A large portion of the pieces didn't have much of a black garlic taste. Very light cheese and too many pepperonis for my liking.

I was so excited to try there pizza I've been fallowing on TikTok for months and there pies looked great , finally i got the opportunity as I was working close by , so I ordered the black garlic pepperoni & world famous pepperoni 2 medium pizzas came to a whopping 60$ and wow I was extremely disappointed!! Both pizzas were like eating a thin peace of mushy flat bread with pepperoni barely any cheese . For the price I could have gotten 4 or 5 hot & ready any they would have been better pretty say considering it's wood fired specialty pizza.

Casual Pizza Affair - Badiali killer? Parking: Street parking available Service: Greeted right away from the front of house, friendly, can't really comment much as few words exchanged. (3/5?) Ambiance: Cute little spot, a few dining seats available Food: They only serve by the pie, no slices available. They got these notasandwich sandwiches - not bad, pretty tasty. What I ordered: 12" Black Garlic Pepperoni -Pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce with black garlic. The reg garlic versus the black garlic - def like the reg garlic better my personal opinion it tastes kind of burnt. Pep was good though (3/5) 12" Pizza Bianca - Homemade white garlic sauce, mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, freshly chopped basil. Tastes better than the black garlic in my opinion from what we ordered, simple and fresh ingredients. Good cheese pull and bite. (4/5) Black Garlic Dipping Sauce - would not order this again (2/5) White Garlic Dipping Sauce - Combine this with Badiali's pies... golden hour (4/5) Overall not bad.. I'd try the other ones. I tried the notasandwich, i liked it. good lunch item, the pic isn't great either but the other items I'd try with the boys or like a bro spot you know. Rating: (3.5/5) - for now, will give it a few more tries and see wassup

Great place for a pizza. Service is good, atmosphere is good and the pizza is great. We enjoyed ourselves in the small seating area. Busy with "walk in pick up" orders. Place is clean and staff are polite. We will be coming back for sure.

Stopped here when getting to the Toronto area looking for pizza. We were able to park on the street though I would say parking could be tough on a busy day. As our first introduction to the area this pizza was great. Pictures speak for themselves: crunchy undercarriage and thin pizza, loaded with pepperoni and the cheese and grease was a perfect combination. Inside was clean as well - staff was overly friendly, and the bathroom is quite a walk downstairs and then back a long hallway. Recommended - really good pizza.

Found this place via their Instagram ad, and needed to try the food immediately! Found street parking within 1 block of the restaurant (excellent for a Saturday night). They currently have a take-out window open, so it's an easy order and pickup. Tried the Pepperoni pizza and the Meat Lovers pizza, they both had a thin, slightly crispy yet soft crust. Loaded with toppings, but the crust was still cooked all the way through and not soggy at all! The leftover pepperoni pizza was delicious and still soft the next day, and served cold was a great breakfast. Customer service was excellent, and shout out to Dalton (Not from Roadhouse) who was super cool and hooked me up with the most scrumptious ooey-gooey chocolate brownie and Burattino face masks! Small pizza is very filling, great value for the $$, and in a nice location for a short walk while u wait. I'll definitely be back soon.

was super excited to try this place because of the crunch of the slices ive seen on instagram and blogto.... boy what a disappointment! the pizza was super thin crust but the base of the pizza tasted like premade pizza dough from a grocery store. The base of the pizza was not crispy and still tasted doughy... The pepperoni was generous in portion size, but that was all that they had that was good. the price of the pizza was also not fairly represented compared to the quality. 19.99 for a pizza that is same size as a frozen pizza! From someone who has eaten at a-lot of other pizza joint ( baddali, makers, conspiracy, revolver), this was mediocre at best. service was friendly, but i should have been skeptical when i saw that this pizza joint was a coffee shop and bakery as well. definitely will not return. don't be influenced by the instagram posts!

    Great pizza

This place gets a solid 4.5/5 for its authentic southern Italian food and very friendly & attentive…read moreservice. It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Nice local Italian restaurant that is enjoyed by us locals as well as those who come down for shows…read moreat the St Lawrence ctr for the arts and the Meridian Hall as well as sports fan here for games. They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
