This is a somewhat dependable delivery spot for pizza and pasta. I have tried a few pizza and pasta dishes from here all were decent. I think they offer a good value when on promo. The non pasta dishes hmmm haven't impressed so far. Give them a try especially if there is a promo freebie on delivery.
Last meal of my amazing visit to Toronto. Had the craving for some good pizza and I definitely found the spot. Restaurant was very clean and the staff was super helpful and nice. As a solo diner I should've just sat at the bar . I made the mistake of asking for a table ,which the staff accommodated me but unfortunately or fortunately the restaurant was busy. Waited about 15mins not bad ,all things considered. Ordered and my pizza was served to me relatively quickly. The Pizza Oro was so fresh and delicious.
I got the Gnocchi Verdi and it was out of this world. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Little warm inside but not bad. It was also a very humid evening outside. Would definitely go back.
This is a very small Italian restaurant, and the food is very good, so either grab a reservation or expect to wait! The service was a bit slow, but that's because they were packed. The servers were friendly. Everything we had was amazing. From the prosciutto bruschetta, to the craft cocktails, to the Neapolitan pizzas, everything was finger-licking good! Unfortunately, we did not leave room for the gelato. I will RUN back here the next time I'm in Toronto!
Went to Cafe Oro Di Napoli with friends for a nice Italian dinner. The first round of order was amazing. We ordered vegetarian food. Had the gnocchi and mushroom pasta. Gnocchi we ordered twice as the first plate was tasty perfectly cooked yet Al Dante. That's where the expectations were set but the next repeat dish we got one had lesser quantities and two the pasta seemed slightly uncooked. Consistency is key and that's why the start that made me rate them 5 on 5 brought it down to 3. Mushroom pasta barely gave the taste of truffle. I was specifically looking for a good truffle pasta and it was just average. Pizza was nice but little too much dressing for a thin crust making it difficult to grab and eat. Service was good, no complaints.
It was a small place, but I don't understand why they are charging so much for such a small portion of pasta. I respect that they make the pasta from scratch, because a lot of places buy store bought pasta. I got the papardelle osso bucco, the pasta was good, the sauce was really good and the beef melts in your mouth, the reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because they charged 30 bucks for such small portion of pasta, but I can't claim them I bought pasta in gusto 101 and they also charged 30 bucks for a pasta, and they make their pasta from scratch as well. The service was good, I didn't have to wait too long for the pasta, they also have hand made gelato if you like ice cream. I liked the texture of the pasta and the sauce was really good with the fresh grated cheese, but I wish they would give more portion for the price they are charging they are ripping off people.
This weekend i got a chance to visit this cute Italian place on Sunday evening. It is on road side and you can choose a window table and look at the park in front while enjoying your meal. I went with 3 of my friends and we had fun. Food was amazing, staff was sweet and ambience was lively! On weekends you might need reservation as this place is quite popular and you can end your meal with Gelato! To be frank, I was so full after our meal that I had no space left for dessert, but will visit soon just for Gelato and Tiramisu next time
Oh my, I was excited to try this spot after driving by many, many times. I was not disappointed! We had it for take out so it would have been even better if we had eaten it in. We had the oro pizza, the meat lovers one, and it was awesome. It had a lovely chew to the crust and wonderful basil flavour, the n'udja sausage was also very tasty and not over powering and salty like most are. On the whole spectacular. The caccio e pepe was also very good. It had some truffle in it which is unusual but it wasn't over powering but added a really nice flavour to the dish. On the whole I was suoer impressed. Maybe my favourite pizza in the city, miles ahead of Badiali which people seem to like for some reason. We will go back and try this place again and eat in next time, though the restaurant is so small I think it might be hard to get a table.
Excellent service with very friendly staff. The pasta and salads are amazing! I especially loved a special they were having with spaghetti, a spicy marinara, and a gently fried soft shell crab on top. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Their grilled shrimp is also delicious. I highly recommend this place. We ate here 3 times within a week while visiting Toronto.

The salad and pasta were both absolutely delicious! The view of downtown is spectacular. The only snafu - could only book a table at 7, 8 or 9. How come you cannot book for 715 or 730? If that small hiccup were remedied on the reservation site, this would be a 5 star experience! Great location near the St Lawrence market and trendy King St East.
We ordered grilled shrimp antipasti, sweet beets salad, seafood risotto, spaghetti carbonara, and Tiramisu. The dishes were pretty good. The service was great, though the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. The ambiance was great too.
Stopped in for lunch after wandering around the city looking for a place to eat. Cafe Oro Di Napoli is a short walk from the St Lawrence Market and has a nice vibe, with a European vibe. The staff were friendly and there were locals eating there so you know it's a good place. We tried two different pizzas and my son had the Carbonara. Everything tasted good and my wife loved her daily pizza special.

Very authentic atmosphere and just absolutely fantastic food - you know it's the real deal when you walk past the customers and hear almost everyone speaking Italian! This time, we were in the mood for pasta and chose the gnocchi pomodoro and rigatoni ai funghi. The meal was off to a great start with some delicious complimentary bread - not the boring plain ones normally served (somewhat stale) at many restaurants, this was soft, fluffy, and seasoned with something similar to cinnamon. Then, the mains arrived in a cloud of amazing smells (the cheese!) and we hurriedly dug in. The gnocchi had the perfect degree of chewiness and was topped with a richly flavoured tomato sauce. The rigatoni was not to be outdone either, with the pasta cooked al dente and mixed with an earthy, creamy truffle sauce. Although we were stuffed after the generous portions, we made room in our stomach for their refreshing gelato selection - a superb finish to our dinner. Service was exceptional as always - our server was very friendly and attentive: we never needed to raise a hand to get our water glasses refilled as he would inconspicuously come around to check if we needed anything. They were out of their daily mango sorbet, but as I asked about it the green apple sorbet was brought out and defrosted. The interior is modest but relaxing, and prices are extremely reasonable considering it's only a short walk from the downtown core. I can't believe what an underrated gem this place has remained - it almost pains me to write this review as a part of me wants to keep it to myself! :)
I came on a weekend lunch. They have a sit-down section as well as a takeout section. Althogh I made a reservation, the place did not have many people so you may be able to just walk in as well. I ordered the anatra pizza, my friend got the rigatoni aI funghi, and the arancini di asparagi to share. The anatra pizza was surprisingly really good. The ingredients weren't something I'd expect in a regular pizza but it was very tasty. The pizza dough itself was also top notch. I tried the pasta and arancini and they were also flavourful. I definitely would recommend this for a relaxing brunch spot! read more

BLUF (bottom line up front) the food was extremely good and highly recommend. This was a Yelp suggestion and a mile walk from my hotel, and I needed the stretch. I was there late afternoon so I got a table right away. For starters, I ordered the Caesar salad that was a 8.5 out of 10. Maybe a little over dressed but the flavor profile was spot on with the Pinot Grigio. Next up was the Ossobuco with fresh pasta that was even better with a Chianti and a 9.5. Go there you will not be disappointed. read more

The server made our experience delightful. We were served by Lis with a great attitude and even better recommendations. The food itself was amazing, balanced, and a very filling. The risotto was the winner, perfectly cooked and creamy with a hint of truffle. It was my first time trying cannoli and I was pleasantly surprised. Make sure you get a reservation - this place gets busy! Came by for dinner on a Sunday night and got the following: - Arancini di Asparagi - Penne Gamberi - forget the name, but their daily pizza special similar which was like a carbonara pizza Everything was fresh and came out piping hot. My favourite was the pasta with the rose sauce and large juicy shrimps, which I wish there was more of. The pizza, while not soggy was a bit tough but enjoyable nonetheless. The staff were super friendly and made sure to explain everything as we ordered and got the food. We got a gelato at the end which was a nice ending to a wonderful meal. read more
This time, I came back a second time with a reservation on a weekend night. I highly recommend doing reservations a week or at least a few days in advance if you're planning to do a weekend night. Pizza Oro: Good portions of toppings and the pizza sauce were delicious. The pizza was thin but wasn't too soggy with the toppings. Rigatoni al Funghi: The sauce was good, lots of flavour with the white truffle sauce. Great option if you're already a fan of rigatoni. Calamari Fritti: Different breading they use for the calamari, which was still crispy yet light which is a nice change from other places. The portions were decent to share with a group of friends. The service was good despite being a busy weekend night. Only downside that the seating is a bit tight that you might likely end up being near the door, but besides that, it's totally worth coming. My new favourite spots for Italian food in the Downtown area. read more

Cafe Oro di Napoli is a good spot for Neapolitan pizza and drinks. We popped in for a quick bite before a show, and the service was quick enough that we were able to eat enough just before we had to leave. I would have liked to spend a little more time dining if I could have, as the place was fairly empty for a Thursday evening, and the interior was a good vibe for a longer dinner with a friend. I would definitely return if I was back in the area to try some of the other items on their menu. read more

Dropped by on a Sunday evening and it was super busy, would recommend booking a reservation for this restaurant. The seating area of the restaurant was rather limited but had a good view of the open kitchen. Food came fast, service was okay. Barbabitole - Was heavy, but delicious. There was a generous amount of buffalo ricotta which was super fatty and rich. Candied beats and vincotta was delicious as it offset the ricotta fattiness. Pistachio was a good touch as it added a crunch to the cheese and cooked beats. Delicious, would recommend! Pizza Oro - A thin crust pizza with a lot of toppings: 3 different sausages, garlic, basil, cheese. The contents of the pizza was only okay, if felt like too many things happening at once. Or the sausages don't have much flavor or the ingredients was not spread out well. The dough was a bit disappointing. The crust was too dry and burnt for my taste. The bottom of the pizza was cooked, but I would have expected a bit more toasted. Based on this pizza experience, I'd order a pasta next time. read more

No frills Italian restaurant that hits the spot. Had dinner here and got: - Pizza special: This one had sausage and potatoes on it. If you've never had potatoes on a pizza, it definitely works. Toppings were generous, crust was buttered goodness. - Pappardelle Osso Buccu: Tender braised veal, perfectly al dente pasta, generous serving. Loved it. - Cozze: Ok sized mussels (and lots of them), really tasty tomato sauce. Service was super friendly and spot-on with suggestions. Price is fair. It's in an old building so a bit warm in the summer. Overall, a great Italian treat in the area. read more
What an amazing place! We were looking for a close by place to relax and enjoy an Italian meal on our last evening in Toronto... As usual, I looked for places with great ambiance and delicious food right here on Yelp, and wow - tons of great reviews for this place! I tried to secure a reservation, but none were to be had online, so we ventured out and tried our luck! Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us and we settled right in, thanks to Bia, our friendly Brazilian server for the evening - she was FANTASTIC, and ensured that we would have a fun, delicious meal as a family. Draught Moretti and Peroni are tasty, and served on their respective glassware. Calamari fritti were light and delicious, served with a tangy and delicious aioli. The gamberetti a la griglia with diavolo sauce were AWESOME! I could have eaten 3 plates of those, actually. We then shared the Prosciutto di Parma and Burrata pizza - it was real Burrata and Prosciutto di Parma, not Mozzarella and ordinary smoked ham - absolutely perfect char on their tasty, slightly chewy dough and their delightfully bright red tomato / basil sauce We also had their pappardelle with ossobucco ragú - pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the sauce... the sauce was every bit as luxurious and tasty as it sounds. The gelato is to DIE for - especially the chocolate / hazelnut masterpiece... do it! We finished the evening with gelatos and delicious Italian coffee drinks - Macchiato, Cortado, and Cappuccino. I LOVED this place and highly recommend it to you - I WILL be back next time I'm in Toronto! Grazie!!!! read more
This place is a must visit if you're craving pizza, pasta and gelato. Highly recommended from a friend and finally getting to try me made me think why haven't I done so sooner!? It's recommended to make reservations as this place is small with a handful of tables and can fill up quickly. Our server was friendly and tentive, service was nice and food came fast. We ordered the deep fried calamari to start. It was crispy, fresh and delicious. For my main I had the Anatra which was under their white sauce pizzas. It consists of poached red wine pear, walnuts, duck confit, fior di latte, rosmary and It was delicious a must get!!! Food was ok. Really think the proper rating is between 3 and 4. Here are a few things: * drinks were a little on the skimpy side. Well made but decent. proper Negroni is with a large ice cube and not the small chunks. * arracinhi was very good and flavorful. * pasta - the penne with shrimp has a VERY sweet taste to it - almost as if it was them adding sugar. * pasta - the parpadelle - well made but wish they have a little better quality control - there were 3 or 4 clumps of pasta stuck together. Thank goodness it was cooked thru otherwise would have sent it back. * pizza - am very familiar with this style. The bottom however was a little doughy and while cooked thru, was soggy. Maybe a bit too much sauce. By the time it got to the table, the basil was already blackish and unappetizing. * service was good. They are very accommodating. Standard water is filled promptly. * place is smallish. reservations are probably a must because if you don't, you'll be waiting. Clearly they were rushing us out because they brought the bill and hovered for me to pay while we were still eating dessert. That was NOT cool. Having passed by this restaurant many times, I decided it was time to try it. We ordered the calamari fritti, pizza oro, and rigatoni al funghi. The calamari was crispy and light, the batter was nothing I've had before. It didn't feel too greasy, yet still crispy. The pizza had a good char on the bottom from being fired in the wood oven I presume, it was thin but had ample toppings. The pasta was the favourite! The pasta was perfectly al dente, it had such a rich and deep mushroom flavour, all the while not being too heavy with the cream. The prices are also very reasonable, hard to find a great entree for about $20 or less nowadays! read more
For our staycation, we decided to check out St Lawrence Market. Being that it was still the first week of January, not a lot of places were open. The two places that were open for lunch were super crowded so left very little seating for the three of us. After doing our little walkabout, we decided to walk over to Cafe Oro. Their menu has classic Italian items like pizza and pasta. The decor is cute and has local community restaurant vibes. Service was great! Attentive and helpful considering we were with a 10 month old baby. Food was delicious (and portions were quite generous). We shared the Caesar salad and soup of the day (mushroom with Chili oil). As mains, I got the chicken risotto and my husband got the eggplant spaghetti. Both were good choices. If in the area, I would come here again. Good for: Italian, lunch, dinner read more
Cute restaurant with a casual ambience. Service was attentive. Burrata salad was good and the mushroom chicken kale pasta was better. A little disappointed with the pizza especially the sauce. The server was nice enough to accommodate for our request to put fresh oregano on the marg pizza but the sauce was too thin and did not hold onto the pizza well. May come back to try again if in the area but more inclined to try something else. read more
