Took a client and staff here for lunch and spent $87 on 3 pizzas and 10 wings, definitely not worth it. The dough on all the pies was hard and overcooked, which made them tough to enjoy. The wings were extremely dry I couldn't even tell if they were baked or fried. They were so overdone that the bones were white and dry enough I was able to bite in them. Most of them went uneaten. Really disappointed, especially since I remember this place used to be good. Sadly, the quality has dropped a lot. I won't be coming back. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this new pizza place. The pizza is decent, with thin crust, but can be a little inconsistent. Pastas are typical, but the portion sizes are great. The prices are very reasonable (from $16 for a 12" pizza, $15 for a large pasta), and the food comes out fast -- a great place to grab a bite when on the go, or before an event downtown. We went to the Roger's Center for a Blue Jays game. After the game let out we were looking for dinner and we came across this establishment. They had good reviews but not many reviews and it was a short walk so we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 9:45, the place was empty. We ordered a half 4 cheese and half pepperoni jalapeño. The pizza was ready fairly quickly. It is a thin, nicely charred crust with lots of fresh toppings. As we waited for our pizza the ding of door dash, Uber eats or grub hub or whatever Canada uses, was constant. They were busy but 90% togo. The restaurant is small but clean and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Beer only but it works. It was a good meal. read more

I had no idea this place even existed! It's a chain from Niagara?! Thin crust pizza cooked in a wood burning oven. Delicious! There are several pizzas to choose from, or you can create your own with a good variety of toppings. Fast and fresh. Tirth and his team made sure my order was just right. Excellent service. Spacious interior with seating both inside and out. Even though I didn't get to try their pasta, I'd definitely recommend this place for pizza in the University and Front Street area. DoughBox just opened up in the heart of the financial district and specializes in pizza and pasta. They use a wood fired oven, and you can see and smell the wood all over the store - it was really unique and the woody aromas certainly hit my nose in the right spots. For my first visit, I was craving pasta and tried their classic penne with meatballs and it hit the spot - it was made to order so the pasta was perfectly cooked, the meatballs were juicy, and the sauce was the right amount of tang and sweet. Overall a great dish. For extra you can get their garlic bread which is basically half a pizza and made to order. Overall I enjoyed the freshness and quality of the ingredients, and I'm looking forward to coming back - I'm sure this will be a lunch staple in the neighbourhood! read more

Couldn't tell you about the food. Tired multiple times to get the wait staff to acknowledge me while waiting for about five minutes under the "order" sign and was ignored. Saw some good reviews here so came by to see what it was all about. They had a lunch special, half a pizza and a drink for $10. Came in and ordered a pepperoni pizza (I think you get more than 1 topping but I only wanted 1 at the time) and got a cup for any fountain drink I wanted. Staff are really friendly here. Got the pizza in under 10 minutes as they cooked it on the spot which was awesome. The toppings are tops in quality. Cheese and pepperoni were nice. I don't love the crust. I also ordered wings as well which were spoiled and still cooked. Im from the USA. Now we may be out of control right now as a whole hence the visit to Toronto and still got a taste of how USA politics are. Dont order the chicken from here because it will taste like US Politics. Doughbox, Barrie, Ontario I ordered two of the $10.99 pizzas, available after 8pm. I also ordered garlic parmesan bites. I asked not to be burnt. I asked to pick-up at 8:15. The order was picked up at 8:15. It was already waiting. The pizzas were awful. They couldn't have gotten them any thinner. They were paper thin. Very little sauce, but I tasted none. Pizza comes with cheese. You get one extra topping on the pizza, so I picked cheese. There was very little cheese, but it was hard to tell, as it was so thin, even with the cheese. The pizzas were cold, hard, dry, and I have false teeth, so I have the eat with my gums. I had to rip it apart, and it hurt my gums, due to nothing on it, dry, hard, cold. And some parts had burnt offerings. I should have said lightly done. I have had their pizza once before when first opened, and it was good. Thin, but not paper thin, it had cheese that I could see, and taste, as well as, sauce. I went to order after that, but there was no option to order extra cheese, and they were unaccommodating, so I didn't order. I ordered from Papa Johns instead. You want cheese, that is where you will get it. I will say though, that the garlic parmesan bites were very good. So I had the bites for dinner, as I could not chew the pizza. It ripped my gums apart. My friend ate 2 pieces plus the rest of my piece, only because he was hungry. His review is the same. read more

Happy they now see that a mistake was made and were able to make proper adjustments for future with their staff and customers. ** We were staying in a local hotel just around the corner - got back late so we order pizza from this establishment. What a mistake. Not only did it cost a small fortune (delivery and a tip was $18 alone) - ordered one 12" pep pizza and 8 wings. The price was almost $60 all in. Then when we get the pizza we were shocked. Online it shows these wonderful wood oven creations. What we received was a cold pizza that clearly had been dropped before it arrived as it was jammed in one corner of the box missing - topping slid off too. The wings (we have to dress them ourselves). I tried calling to have it addressed and no one picked up the phone. After trying 5 times, I had to get dressed and go to the store directly. There were 3 workers who very clearly had time to answer the phone but didn't. They blamed the delivery driver (the order was placed directly though the store website not a service like uber eats). The store kept trying to pass the blame and wouldn't refund my order. I will never order from this place again - terrible customer service and over priced. read more

Lovely wood-fired pizza in the downtown core for a very reasonable price (Libretto is about 30-40% more and not as good). Excellent wood fired pizza! Light crust, delicious toppings, perfectly cooked. The wings were cooked in a cast iron pan- crispy and delicious with a wide choice of sauces. We also ordered an arugula salad that was well executed. They fed our party of 11, at 10PM, with no delay. I've worked in a half dozen pizza kitchens. These folks get it all right. Consistent, delicious, and we'll done pizzas. My only regret is that we devoured all of that food before I could take a picture! read more
