is zero stars an option??? we hired on point to pack, move, unpack and reassemble our household goods. they failed in about every possible dimension. we were open aqnd transparent about our needs and limitations (my wife and i are both disabled(). they completely failed to pack two rooms (and left them behind). failed to reassemble furniture except our beds. when we advised dennis about the gross deficiencies, he asserted they went "above and beyond" to acommodate us. his offer wasw to preovide someone to get the items left behind at $120 an hour even though these items have since been surrendered to the new owners of the house we left. i'm filing multiple complaints against this insanely irresponsible company. avoid! avoid! avoid! avoid! avoid! avoid! i've lost: $2500 recording equipment fully functioning kitchen aid refrigerator bbq grill and many thousands more had my daughter not gone back to the house in the middle of the night thinking many items were missing (there were). i sent dennis a letter looking for a good\ compromised solution that would help us get moved in. after the submissions, and no response, i suggest i might file a complaint to seek a favorable resolution. in response i received a "f-off" blaminfg us for the problems. we are very reasonable, his insulting response guarantees a full force legislative regulatory and legal response and attack. run, dont walk, away from these clowns read more

They were the worse moving company ever. We had a lot of damage furniture. Missing items. Always late. And they under bid but then they come back saying they need another truck and wait til the last day so u are obligated to pay more because your in a bind bc you have to be out that day. Just want others to learn from our experience. Always check ur movers out before u proceed. Don't trust ur realtors when they suggest a mover. Still check them out. They even had the cops at our house and yelled and told the cop off that they almost got arrested and our stuff would have been impounded. They need to be shut down. read more

First day packers showed up 2 hours late not their fault since Dennis gave them the wrong address and then Dennis was 30% off on their price in the wrong direction. when unpacking about 20% of items damaged or not useable. Plus maybe 5% of the boxes were labeled so unpacking is a nightmare. Avoid this company read more

The movers showed up over an hour late without any call, I had to call and track them down. They did not respond to thumbtack messages. I found the number through Yelp. Due to being physically exhausted the movers were not able to work efficiently (their own words). They damaged the wall along the stairs from the house we were moving out of, and then damage the baseboard of the house we moved into. I reached out to Dennis and he claimed he would have both houses damages repaired by Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and they have ignore the last three attempts of communication. read more

The absolute BEST! They were on time, safe, professional, very careful and fun! YES they made the stressful process of moving FUN. We had lots of laughs whike we were busy of course and before we knew it we were done! We could not believe how fast and efficient they were! Mind you we moved in to a 3000 square ft two story home! They were in and out in no time!! Best of all they were dog friendly (our dogs kept running around to look for them after they left). Lol These guys went above and beyond! Used them for a house packing and move in early 2021. Few small problems concerns at the time with the crew that was sent but overall the job got done. Reached out for some quotes in December and decided to give them another shot. Good communication and this time had the owner and 2 new crew with him for the job. While they were an hour late on the planned start time, they completed the job an hour ahead of schedule still. Very polite and hard working and very much focused on full service. Adding an update: I'm not changing anything I said. I have even more screenshots I can post here. My review is whatever I want to review, which in this case is my whole experience. I neglected to mention that I worked alongside these guys to empty my storage unit and truck as well as bringing my items upstairs, so actually, their work wouldn't have been completed in 4 hours without my help. PLUS, they forgot the contract in their car which they left at uhaul, so we had to go back the opposite direction to pick that up before heading to my place. STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND BEING DEFENSIVE! Your only comment should be taking responsibility and apologizing for your horrible service on all ends. I'm never using your company again, and anyone who does should think twice. And BTW, I was never provided with a license number upon request, so thanks for that as well. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves! They were great quick and easy nothing broke, they even set up a cleaning service to clean the house after we moved. Great time saver.

My apartment was assigned with movers Jesse and Ismael who did great with their jobs. Don't have any complaints with them. They did a great job. There were some things I wasn't really happy with outside of the movers, though. I made an appointment with On Point Moving with a scheduled date via email. Usually, making an appointment with a company creates some sort of written confirmation. I didn't really receive any confirmation until the day of which made me nervous about possibly not having movers on the day of the move. Additionally, I had a discussion about not paying any fees other than labor. On the day of the move after some time into the move and after signing a contract verifying the final cost, the management of the company requested that I pay an additional $20 for fuel charge. I was okay with paying with the charge but I didn't appreciate the fact that this information wasn't preemptively delivered. Overall, On Point Moving did what I needed them to do and they did exactly that. I'm very grateful for the help I received. I would definitely request their services again if I need to relocate. read more

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY! I would give zero stars if it was possible. First of all, I've moved 18 times so I know all about moving and movers! My first contact person was Dan. I asked for an accurate quote and listed the items we needed moving. There was only 1 additional box which I didn't mention because it got delivered the day before the move.The night before, I received a call from some guy claiming he will be doing my move. He asked me what I'll be moving (? He had no idea). So I called Dan back to ask what I going on. He said they were 'too busy' so they out sourced their job and he apologized for not telling me. I said it's ok. Then the day of the move, I get a phone call from ANOTHER man telling me he's coming but he's delayed 1.5 hours. And he asked me AGAIN what I will be moving (??????). I explained again and he said he'll be there at said time. When the time passed I called and the phone was turned off. I called The guy who called me the day before who told me that his driver CANCELLED the move because he was unaware of what will be moved. I called back Dan to ask him what is going on and he continued to tell me that I was not telling him what is going to be moved and that he's hearing 2 stories. I explained that I have written to him to tell him everything that will be moved excluding that that new box that just arrived. He continued to say 'I just thought it would be an easy move but there are more items now'. I explained again that it's the same items, I fact my husband made the job even easier by dissembling everything and 95% of the items are in boxes. How much more simpler did he want it to be? Why would I even need movers if it was a cake walk! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I hired them for a move. I was not impressed with the workers. Only the bald head guy with the beard was working consistently. The other 2 took a lot of smoke breaks and smoked near my couch they were moving before they got it moved into the house. I could here them cursing outside which is embarrassing because I have neighbors with children. They played loud music from their truck for the whole neighborhood to hear. The main worker complained about how much they pay him and how tired he was from the previous job (almost trying to justify his behavior). They dropped my exercise equipment down a flight of steps and took chunks out of them steps because they did not properly secure it. Even though it was suggested how to properly secure it. The main guy tried to carry to much of my breakable items at once and I was scared he was going to drop it all. They didn't even finish the move and only got the large items because it took them so long to do that. Overall, I'd just label the whole ordeal as unprofessional.
