The only down sides were a slight communication difficulty and an apparently unavoidable mechanical or logistical difficulty which prevented them from arriving on time. (3 hrs late, they were apologetic) Be aware that they have a 3 hour minimum and the charged price was $30 above the one displayed on their web site. The also add an additional $10 per hour if you use a credit card (? budget-wise for them--not for you) and require a picture of your credit card and drivers license. That surprised me!

Don't use this company especially if you are handicapped or visually impaired. They stole my…read moredeposit when it wasn't me who cancelled. They cam into my house and immediatley complained about all the stuff I had. They saw a dop of poop and said its a health hazzared. I told him most of the black on the carpet was old glue when we putt some plastic down. Then they had me pack the stuff I needed while (I thought they were starting) The main moer had me sign a bunch of paperwork - which he had to point at where to sign because I couldn't read it with my poor vision. He didn't give me a copy and told me the office is going to call me. The office called me and said it was too dangerous for them to stay and they would be keeping my deposit. I went to the front door to talk to them and they were pulling away. I can't dispute the money because they had my permission to take it. Its civil matter. They left me blind and unable to find the things I needed I waited to pack until they got here, medicine, toiletries etc. They could have at least stayed and asked before they let if I needed help with anything. They were horrible people, uncaring and empathetic. Of course they were so friendly while making the arrangements'. Everytime I warned them about how much stuff I had they said no problem and that was the first thing they complained about. Im sorry my 5lb dog pooped a pellet on the floor guys but you could have been more helpful then that. I cannot read what I wrote sorry if there are mistakes. Who knows what I signed. why didn't they leave me a copy. They probably had me sign the deposit away and took the blame for the cancellation. This company has no heart.

PDQ Movers and Deliveries were outstanding. Travis, Devin, and his team were the hardest working…read moreguys. They were very respectful and carefully handled every item of the move. Everyone was especially polite and friendly, too. We had sold a house and took a lot of time researching moving companies, for the move from the IE to OC. We spoke with Travis who quoted us and explained the moving process. He was professional and good to speak with. The time he estimated (8 hours) and the cost to complete the move all proved to be 100% accurate. Devin and his team (two younger guys) arrived right on time, the day of the move. They worked so hard. All of us were extremely impressed by how hard working and dedicated the three of them were. I never saw them do anything but work. When they needed to use the restroom, for example, they were incredibly polite about it as well. They moved an entire house full of furniture without a single ding or scratch anywhere. When the refrigerator/washer-dryer wouldn't fit through our back door, they unscrewed the door off, and were able to carefully get it through. They then put everything back together with no issues. For the final part of the move, they had organized the truck so that the first half could go into a storage unit. We knew they were trustworthy and let them handle that on their own. They got everything to fit into storage in a clean and well ordered manner. I could not have ever done it better than they had. They finished the move by taking the final items to our home. We have three flights of narrow stairs (townhouse) and they were able to get everything upstairs without issue. Some of the items were extremely heavy and could of easily broken or hit the walls etc. They were really careful with everything and even put the stuff together once they were done (bed frames, mattresses, etc.). They did all of this work on the day before Thanksgiving, too. It had been raining heavy all day as well. They covered everything and nothing got wet either. To note, we supplied our own boxes (we didn't expect them to provide boxes for us, since I saw how one other reviewer here dinged them for that, which is unfair considering how expensive boxes are). We also had emptied out all of the drawers, cabinets, and shelves ahead of time, into boxes that were taped and ready to go. We didn't want to waste their time or our time with that stuff, so that they could focus on getting the heavy items/boxes into the truck - to save my spine the pain. All in all, it was a great experience working with them. I highly recommend them. They're honest, hardworking, and professional.

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Taliek or his moving company. Although Taliek himself was…read morevery well-mannered, the overall service was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. The problems began when his brother-in-law banged my furniture against the walls, leaving a large black mark. I initially brought the issue to Taliek's attention. After hearing another loud bang, I confronted the worker, who initially denied doing anything. Once I pointed out the mark, he apologized, rubbed the wall, and said the mark might come off. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning. My mattress was dragged, and my pictures and paintings were placed directly on concrete, resulting in scratches. Some items were wrapped, while others were left unprotected. My plant pot was broken, and Taliek offered to reimburse me for it. My office chair also had part of the seat ripped. What shocked me most was arriving at my new home to find my printer placed directly on my brand-new leather couch. I was appalled that anyone handling a customer's belongings would be so careless with furniture and personal property. I had very little furniture, with most of my belongings consisting of boxes and storage bins, yet the move took six hours. I also had to wrap my pictures myself while the movers were still there because I was concerned about how they were handling my belongings. Had I not intervened, I can only imagine what condition my items might have been in. I have used several moving companies over the years, and this experience was among the most disappointing. The handling of my belongings was reckless, careless, and extremely unprofessional. Being well-mannered is not enough when the actual service falls so far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, careful, and professional moving services.
