Our family came here for a simple breakfast on a weekend trip in July 2018. I would have to say this is a comforting, home-style breakfast place that is a nice, reliable stop for eggs, pancakes, the basics -- with good hospitality, good prices, and good value. Our group had the 2 egg platter (a pleasing $4.99), Lemon Ricotta pancakes ($5.99 for 2) and an extra egg ($0.99), and they were all served with potatoes, toast, and courteous service. They also have fancier dishes ranging around $9-11 for sweet potato hash, fruit drinks, etc. In contrast to what some other trendier (read, more expensive and hipster) places serve around here especially for the rich Tanglewood crowd, this was good value for the money, and a very nice atmosphere. Would come again, for sure. read more

Had a very long wait this morning but only because a bus load of people made it to the restaurant before us. While the wait was long the coconut pecan French toast was delicious and the homemade port sausage was excellent!! Would definitely recommend. read more

Best hash I've ever had! Staff is always courteous, happy, and engaged in you. There are a lot of regulars here, and staff always asks about things I their life. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere gets the 5 Stars. I stop here every time I'm in Lenox! read more

Delicious food, crispy bacon on my egg and cheese sandwich. Lost a star for coffee, too bitter for my taste.

We came on a Friday a little after 11 for a late breakfast. They stop serving breakfast after 11am and Jane was SO nice to accommodate the two of us so we could still order. We had a delicious breakfast outside in their garden on a beautiful fall day. The service couldn't have been better and their outdoor space was a little retreat. Have been here before, always been one of our faves but will definitely be back again! We appreciate these restaurants trying to create a great experience during a challenging time. Thank you!! read more

place is dope. They excel at breakfast. Staff is friendly and great. Also inexpensive. Definitely eat here. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Waiter was real nice, gave him an extra tip. Rest room was very clean. But it's now about 4 hours after I ate here and I am feeling really sick with food poisoning. I was totally fine before that and haven't eaten anything since. Oh my, I have to lie down...it really sucks to have food poisoning while traveling. For the owner--I had the fish taco / wrap. read more

So lovely! We sat outside away from ppl which is nice in a covid world. We missed breakfast by a bit and they still managed to get our breakfast burrito in which was very kind of them and it wasdelicious. The house made turkey is also excellent. And the service very friendly and polite! Highly recommend :) read more

Poorly run restaurant with terrible customer service and even worse food. I went with friends on a Saturday afternoon after a Tanglewood performance. The restaurant was obviously overwhelmed by all the customers. At first, I felt sympathy for them. Even when it took nearly 15 minutes to greet us and over 10 minutes to clean a dirty table and seat us. The drink order took ages, as well as the food order. I asked if there was something, like soup or salad, that we could order to expedite the process. The waitress said no. I watched orders come up to the window and sit under the warmer for 10 minutes--there was no expediter! After nearly an hour after ordering, I saw most my table's order come up and just sit and sit and sit under the warmer. Then one of the waitresses said that they didn't actually have what one of my friends had ordered. My friend asked to see the menu and was handed one. No one came back to get the order for nearly 10 minutes. We tried to wave them down, make eye contact, nothing. Finally, the waitress took the order. We requested that the food come out asap and not wait for the order to be complete. Finally, my old, stale sandwich arrived with soggy bread on the bottom and overly dry and crispy on the top and Dying lettuce. I was so hungry that I ate it anyway. They sweet potato fries were virtually inedible--cold and rubbery. Nobody ever came back and asked how it was or if they could get is anything, even though the restaurant was mostly empty at this point. Everyone at the table was disappointed in the food quality. I wish I hadn't paid for that horrible food and experience, but after being there so long, I just wanted to get the heck away without experiencing more frustration. They really should have at least apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience. I wish we'd never come. read more

The food is not worth the wait I brought my father here for Father's Day it was pretty to COVID-19 restrictions witch was only 9 tables of two and four we ordered are food at 9:45 and got it at 10:50 we were anxiously waiting for are food when it finally arrived it was less than notible they messed up our order with that wait I would expect for better food and correct orders it was not worth the WAIT!!!! read more

Again, had hi hopes that finally there was a good place to eat in Lenox. Horrible!!!!!! Just don't do it. Bad service and food was Yuck!!! My chicken salad sandwich was okay, but I think MAYBE, there was 2 table spoons of chicken salad. The bread that is made BY THE RESTUARNT, was weightless, not in a good way and they toasted it to an inch of its life. The sweet potato large fries, hard to describe. Someone should tell them that it is okay to leave skin on white potato large fries, but not on sweet potato without treating them. Almost choked. Their homemade roasted turkey was like turkey jerky. Dry and stringy and about 1 ounce on the sandwich. When my 92 year old father complained the idiot owner or manager, insulted him by saying "maybe you aren't used to fresh turkey, we make it here and get raves" maybe you eat turkey that processed. My father who is 92 made it to 92 by eating quality, healthy food, not the junk that they pass off as edible faire. Recommendation, roll pass this place and don't look back. BTW, the service is slow as watching grass grow. Another dud in Lenox!!! read more

If the fresh food, well cooked and presented, and oh so tasty, were not enough, the staff is just wonderful and warming, making the whole dining experience feel as though you are one of the family. read more

Very poor staff communications. I understand about supply issues during peak hours but the staff should not ignore customers flat out. I sent an email order, last week , it was ignored. Today I phoned in to pick up a lunch order at 12:40pm giving them 1.5 hours lead time for a falafel. They failed to meet that request. In fact, some gentleman was waking around behind the counter, and said the wait staff will bring it out when it's ready. so much for calling in read more

Call ahead if you have a big group. Love this place! You've got to try the sweet potato hash!

Perfect brunch spot in the Berkshires. Good mix of classics and tex mex. Bacon was prepared perfectly and despite cautions of over-ordering, every last pancake was dispatched by a crowd of five children. The house gave an early warning of breakfast menu closure (11 am is when the shift happens) fifteen minutes till time, and yet still allowed us to sneak a couple BK orders in for late arrivals. Reasonably priced and well located - we will certainly return. Go full stack. read more

Solid breakfast spot. Your usual breakfast fare, but everything is homemade, so it has some extra deliciousness. Had the breakfast BLT & the pecan coconut French toast. Noticed they also have some eggs Benedict varieties. Some outdoor sweating on a covered patio & several large tables for groups. A nice arrangement of sodas & seltzer, too. read more

Found this café our last weekday morning staying in the Marriott hotel nearby and wished I'd come to it other mornings. Crowded, mostly with locals I think, which is a good sign. I sat at the counter and watched the waitresses working hard to keep up with the busy room -- indoors, a few tables outdoors, and the counter. Can't say much about the food as I only had a bagel and cream cheese, but that was excellent and the coffee was very good and refilled nicely by sweetheart server Aubrey. Good atmosphere and gave me a needed lift all around. read more

This place is amazing! Tucked in the Berkshires but very easy to get to, just off of route 7 on Lenox/Pittsfield line(?). The Staff is awesome and very accommodating...Danny, Cynthia, Jana, Paul, and the crew! Second day in a row eating breakfast here...wish I had found it earlier...I'll definitely be back. A must do for breakfast or lunch! Lemon Ricotta Pancakes! Homemade 7 Grain French Toast! Mmmmmm, mmmmmm! You cannot pass this place up!! Bon Appetite! read more

What a delicious breakfast I had this morning!!!!! Strawberry Granola pancakes and house made chicken apple sausage!!! Then a honey granola muffin to eat later. Everything else coming out of the kitchen looked equally delicious!!!! read more

What an ideal place for breakfast. I made a reservation but needed to change it. Spoke to the gent at the door and told him that my group of six would wait. He put us in a corner where we could talk. We stayed for about 2 1/2 hours. Our food was unreal. Try the Brie and avocado eggs Benedict. Fabulous. We were told by our waitress that we could do a mix and match on the pancakes and we took advantage !! Lemon Ricotta was my favorite but the strawberry granola was a hit too. I didn't like the CB hash cuz for me it was too finely chopped but if that's the downer you know how good the place is. Try it for sure. It's terrific read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Berkshires--original selections, like sweet potato and carmelized onions and bacon with eggs... Brie, avocado, bacon eggs Benedict... and great friendly service too. read more

Very friendly staff; made in house food; stylish warm and inviting! Thanks to one of the locals for a great referral.

My fiancé and I came here during our recent vacation in the Berkshires. Our server (I believe his name was Danny?) was very nice and personable, and the food was great. I had the sweet potato hash. Very good experience. read more

Stopped into this place on a Sunday last week. It wasn't very busy at all. We sat down to eat, and made two pretty simple orders. I had the eggs over easy with bacon and home fries. Food took well over 45 minutes(again, the place was practically empty) yet somehow two older gentlemen sitting at the counter got their food before ours, even though they arrived late. When it finally arrived my eggs were watery, extremely undercooked and my bacon was missing. At this point a simple sorry my food took so long would've gone a long way. When I mentioned that I had ordered bacon the owner didn't even apologize and just went into the kitchen. A few minutes later he came back and handed me the bacon. When I mentioned that my eggs were extremely undercooked, he said "I know" and said he'd have them cooked a bit more. At that point I told him I'm all set and didn't want to eat anymore. Instead of trying to make things right, or even seem a little apologetic, he told me that I can leave but I need to pay for my uneaten food. I refused & after about 5 minutes of disputing the bill, he told my girlfriend she had to pay for her orange juice because she drank some. I gladly paid for the orange juice and walked out. One of the worst experiences of my life. I can see now why the place was so empty. The owner is as rude as they come. read more

I stop here every time I'm in town for work and I have never had a bad experience! The staff is so friendly in a "welcome to our house" way and the food is delicious. I usually get some form of eggs and orange juice, then a tea to go! I love the cute vibe and people! read more

The food is good, and it's a very decent price. It comes with good portion sizes as well. The service wasn't excellent or horrible. It was obvious the servers weren't in the mood to answer questions about the menu. I was here Monday in the afternoon. Not a bad spot but will probably keep searching the area for better cafes. read more

Deserved zero stars because a three weeks ago my girlfriend and I decided to grab a quick lunch & a gentleman sat us on a corner booth east side seating area of the restaurant. I have eaten here twice before and like the service and food but on the day was good but on the day I took my friend here, we were disappointed. A young blond waitress pretty much ignored us. She only had a couple to serve and we could understand why she was ignoring us, so we decided to leave and as we walked out, she said with a smile " bye". What a dumb ass! She needs to work elsewhere since she doesn't seemed to have a good understanding of what waitressing is about. I have worked as a waitress when I was young so wether you get tips or not, you do your job because the restaurant has a business reputation to uphold and that young woman has no work ethics. Sad and disappointed, will not be bringing any of my friends here again. read more

We just used On A Roll to cater a drop in brunch the day following my sister's wedding. The owner David, who helped me to set up the order/manage the quantities, was wonderful. Paul, who manages the Lenox location, delivered the order personally to ensure that everything was set up exactly as we needed. So our experience from the service side was warm, and impeccable! The food was terrific! Muffins, cinnamon buns and Spanish rolls (a must try) were all warm upon arrival - and were DELICIOUS! We also had egg sandwiches (also yummy) and a coffee and tea service for 60 people. I would highly recommend them for catering and am looking forward to the next time I get to eat there! read more

What an awesome find. We had a wonderful breakfast. The homemade sausage is amazing. I have never had such a tasty breakfast meat. David from On A Roll catered brunch the day after our wedding, and he did a fantastic job. He was easy to work with throughout the process, and the food exceeded everyone's expectations. We got four frittatas, yogurt and granola, an assortment of fruit, and bagels and cream cheese. People were especially impressed with the quality of the bagels. We're very glad we made the decision to go with On A Roll, and we'd do it again in a second! read more

Love the breakfast BLT, great menu options for breakfast and lunch. Really good food with friendly staff.
