Eggs, potatoes and toast. Simple and good.

Had a very nice breakfast here. Reasonably clean and fixtures in good condition. Quiet location off route 7. Some outside dining, which is not as quiet. Service was fine although not notable. Food was good breakfast fare. Nice choice of toast, and a very nice fruit plate which you can also order in half size.

Friend and I went to Pittsfield MA for a quick outing. So what do you do after your quick stop? Obviously, go to lunch. We stopped at Electra's Cafe because it's on the beaten path on the way home. Electra's had a tent set up out in the parking lot for those of us who would rather social distance in the open air. The staff were well versed in how to electronically access the menu. Even ladies who were uneasy about getting the menu were assisted through the process. Electra's has many greek items along with a large menu of your regular items. Friend chose pastistio and I chose their spanikopita. Both lunches were accompanied by greens which you dress with a house vinaigrette. Spanikopita was fresh with an abundance of feta cheese. It was a sufficiently large enough serving for me to bring part of it home for next day snacking. Friend was hungry and ate the whole thing! My last comment goes to the wait staff who were fantastic. Having brought my service dog with me, they brought out a metal bowl with ice water in it for my four footed buddy. They also were very conscientious about taking contact tracing info including my phone number. Kudo's to management for keeping up to date with pandemic tracing. Would definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

It is a nice cafe. We had a yummy breakfast, one with the chorizo bowl and one was the vegetable omelette special.

Our family of 8 skied a few days after Christmas, and after we ordered our lunch, the wait for our (very basic!) order was very long (at least 25-30 minutes). Then when the food finally started being delivered, it arrived in "shifts" so that half our group ended up finishing their lunches before the other half had even received their orders. (First the chili in bread bowls was delivered, then 5 minutes later the burger orders were delivered, then 5 minutes after that, the deep-fried items arrived, etc...) We understand that off-season staffing in the Berkshires is a challenge, but it was disappointing not to be able to share lunch with each other at the same time, and the slow-down in everyone being able to eat delayed our return to the slopes as we'd wished. The food was more than adequate for what it is, and the upstairs space & view of the mountain are beautiful as always, but the service needs work.

My SO went with a steak and cheese with all the fillings and a side of tots. The tots are super crispy and taste faintly of clam (fried clams are on the menu), just fyi. They offer coffees, teas, soft drinks and mimosas (I think I remember that on the menu). I had a fresh brewed, unsweetened ice tea w/lemon. Hit the spot on a hot day. They have a wonderful menu offering of letting you pair 3 or 5 of the cold appetizers for a great price. Not only are they apps but they serve as amazing flavors to add to every bite throughout the meal. Grape leaves, hummus, tatziki, spiced feta, ... and more with amazing pita. Last week we both had the gyros hers with "fries" mine with salad. The fries were a thick kitchen-made chip with some crispy and some tender. Amazing. The salad was so fresh we wondered where they were getting their produce! The lamb gyro was exactly that special flavor you have been chasing with lettuce, fresh tomato, tatziki and a warm pita. Try it with the spicy feta from the apps or the hummus! Tonight we tried the baked feta and tomatoes as a hot app with the hummus, grape leaves and tatziki 3 way sampler. Dynamite! I had the spanakopita and rice, Red had the Moussaka. She called it Greek lasagna, but it was so much more. Layered meat and a thick yet creamy béchamel with potatoes and thin eggplant. Greek savory ambrosia. Please, save room for dessert. , please. Last week while we waited for them to box up some take home baklava, we ordered a custard with philo dough. Sinful. The only sin for which you goto heaven. Tonight it was a chocolate cream-mousse cake with whipped cream and a thin milk chocolate topp while we waited for the take-home baklava. And a Hennessy for me while Red had a dessert wine, muscado. I am confused as to why there is not a line out the door. So I suppose I am letting you all in on the best kept secret for wholesome mediterranean food in Berkshire County. Enjoy!

Service: Unfortunately, the service was hit or miss. No one checked on us after our food arrived. My fork was cleared with the appetizer plate and never replaced, so I eventually took utensils from an empty nearby table. My seafood pasta also came with shellfish, but no dish was provided for the shells. No one checked on us until we almost finished our mains. Food: The lemon drop martini was okay. The char-grilled octopus was tasty, but the Mykonos seafood pasta was bland. Hubby enjoyed his Keftedes and burger, although his burger arrived with a bun despite requesting it without one. The salad that came with it was delicious -- I actually enjoyed it more than my pasta! Overall: A warm welcome and some good dishes, but the bland pasta and inattentive service made this a mixed experience.
