they will scam you out of money and sell you the best but install the worst we paid 370k they charged us 11k for cooper fire bowls but installed black metal and we had a meeting and after the meeting they gave a credit for a few hundred dollars. only one example 2nd the day they drawers the pool out it was too small so we added some feet I think from 32 to 36 the charge was almost 10k which was fine but it was added to the price of the contract. the price went from 326k to 334k . then the sent a change order way later and charges us again. I will attach proof if this app will let me if not go to my FB I have copies being posted daily. DONT USE THEM UNLESS you get everything in writing and don't pay the draws until the work is done right with the correct items. read more

This has been the best experience. We have built 3 pools in Az and this by far has been the best. Martin and team are amazing! They listened to what I wanted. Came back with a drawing that far exceeded our expectations. My 2 requests were please don't destroy my current cactus backyard and I need you in and out. Both of my asks were met and exceeded. I had them in my yard everyday and were done in 5 weeks. The quality in all areas is exceptional from equipment to hardscape. The communication with Allysa and Scott was outstanding. Building a pool in mid-2024 is an expensive endeavor and has some risks for the average homeowner. It requires a builder that has both the technical and management skills, but also excellent employees and subcontractors. The builder is as only as good as the weakest link in the total delivery chain. We selected Omni pools after doing an evaluation of all of the pool builders in our region. I rated them based on years in business, public reviews and BBB comments and standing. We received two proposals from three selected contractors. One of the contractors was not interested in quoting. After a head-to-head evaluation and talking with each contractor we decided that Omni was the superior choice, and provided the best value. Our experience with Omni has proven the right selection was made. Pre-contract their designer understood what we wanted and improved our draft design in ways we did not consider. His explained how Omni works and it's organization including the role of the Project Manager who was our point of contact. We spoke with the PM, or saw him almost daily. He did a great job keeping up us to date and listened to our concerns. Omni also uses a computer-based tool that tracked building schedule, daily progress, messaging, and finance. It turned out to be a great communication and documentation tool between ourselves and the entire Omni team. The system documented daily progress with pictures and communication about the build. Our pool build was not without problems. An issue was identified by Omni where a small area of shotcrete needed to be removed to repair an electrical conduit. This concerned me and I communicated this to our Project Manager. He kept me informed as to the shotcrete repair options and timelines. Ultimately the owner of the shotcrete installation company who had about four decades of pool building experience reviewed the repair process and shotcrete mix with me. After that I had complete confidence in the shotcrete repair and the person doing it. Omni did not take shortcuts. Our pool is beautiful. The excavation started on June 3 and we were swimming on July 13. What makes Omni the best builder in my area is that they hire and motivate the best people and suppliers. Unbelievable. Salesman laid it on thick. Had our plan within a week, called after hours to answer questions and talked about how he was going to squeeze us in as the last customer to apply for a permit in Feb. Signed the contract and paid a deposit on 1/6/21 and never heard from anyone again. Sent follow up emails and on Feb 9 it was an oopsies, they had a change in office personnel and someone else was taking over. I had to beg them to take the balance of my deposit (salesperson insisted I only needed to give $200). Emailed/called back two weeks later and the current office person said the scheduler would call me ASAP. At that time she told me that my permit had been applied for on 2/9 but that all other project info would have to go through the scheduler. Two more weeks and no contact. I emailed AGAIN and finally got an email from the scheduler (Veronica) saying she had no idea we existed. She then called me on 3/22 because she didn't want me to be mad at HER because the salesperson (Tom Delaney) messed up. She promised to call me with the schedule as soon as she had the chance to look at the specs but rest assure, this mess only put me two weeks behind everyone else and they could still dig in May. On 3/26 I received an email cancelling our contract and they will be sending my deposit back. What in the actual f??? read more

We contacted Omni for a plan to remodel a 40-year-old pool. We wanted to remove some features that no longer fit our plans and others that did. We had the designer (Rich) carefully listen to our needs and come up with a plan that met and surpassed our expectations. We knew the process is not for the faint of heart, since we had a re-plastering sometime ago and knew some of what to expect. Rain and cold weather did hamper the process somewhat but was handled well by the project manager, Johnathan, and the office (Christine and Veronica). Communication amongst all involved could have been better, but responses to questions were responded to after repeated inquiries. The workmanship was solid and the design enhanced our yard. Pool start-up and my re-education as to the new features was handled by Justin who did an excellent job and provided needed follow-up. I will use him again in the future! Overall, we are happy with the results and feel we made a great choice for our remodel. read more

We used Omni last year to build a small pool. Although they are talented in the pool design aspect, unfortunately their extreme lack of communication made it a very unpleasant overall experience. They simply never get back to you. It takes several attempts. We needed a repair done for the cracked grout and we never heard back from their coordinator/front desk gal. We even referred one friend to them for a consultation and he never got anyone to call him back. Perhaps this review will encourage them to make some changes. read more

Omni has been fantastic! We resurfaced our pool and added in new tile in our first phase. Jim has constantly checked in and treated the job as if it were his own backyard. He spoke up with better placement of the basketball hoop as you can see is a highlight in our pool. He has saved me much headache of having to constantly check-in because before I could even get to it he was there. Aaron and Martin have both been out to meet with us and follow up along the way; both a pleasure to work with as well! The pool had new tile and pebble-tech installed their team was respectful and did a great job cleaning up when they left most contractors don't. We also had quartz installed on our beach entry which added just the perfect touch. That was all done within in two weeks too! We're excited to see what else they can do! Would have been 5 stars but numerous performance and communication issues brought down the rating. Workmanship was good, PM assigned to the project and poor communication was the issue. We selected Omni over 3 other companies. A detailed scope of work was provided. Omni was the most expensive ($1K over the second choice) but they had much better payment terms. One company (Pioneer pools) wanted 90% payment when they were only 30% complete. Pioneer also being 40% less was a cause for concern. Original contract was 4-6 weeks but it actually took 10 weeks to complete due to the PM not having an understanding of the scope and contract. Numerous unreturned calls/correspondence, accounting calling for payment when they weren't complete with milestones. Their Operations manager was finally looped in and things started getting back on track. If you do use them I'd suggest you negotiate liquidated damages (financial restitution) for missing milestone dates or contract duration period. If there is a financial impact to them you might get moved up in their schedule. I understand they are busy but as a Commercial and industrial construction professional with 28 years of experience I found the lack of communication and timeliness of completed work to be poor. As stated before their workmanship was not an issue. This project was a refinish of an existing plaster pool that was over 12 years old. New interior with stone surface and new equipment. Quality of equipment used was good and came with a better Warranty than the existing equipment (Hayward). read more

Don't go to them unless you have a $100k project. They wasted a lot of time, and were outright unprofessional. They first missed an appointment on a Saturday due to a "mixup" -- I had given up on other commitments to stay home and they didn't show up. They apologized and rescheduled for the following Saturday. Their estimator Kevin came to our house. He seemed knowledgeable and was courteous. We spoke about backyard landscaping project -- which involved repaving, a new wall section, a pool, water feature, plants and outdoor kitchen. He took measurements and said the estimate and a 3D visualization will be ready to review in 2 weeks. I was looking forward to that. Two weeks went by, I called them. They said the hardscape quote was ready but the landscape portion will take another week or so. I called Kevin in another two weeks. Still no update. I tried calling them again in another two weeks. Now more than 2 months have passed and they have just completely ignored my calls. I finally gave up and have started to consult other contractors. They might be a great company but they are either too busy (in which case they should not take any new estimate appointments), or are grossly mismanaged. read more

Scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and discuss options of our pool and back yard remodel. Representative for the company came out on 7/20/21. Discussed what we were looking to do and he gave some ideas. He took some measurements and advised he would get back to me in a couple weeks with options and quotes. I never received any contact from Omni Pool or their representative they sent out. I emailed Omni Pool on 8/17 asking if they had any updates on my backyard remodel and quotes. I never received response from them. If this is how they treat potential customers, I'm glad I didn't do business with them. read more

I heard about Omni pools from a church friend that had Omni build their pool. They were really happy with their overall product. So I called Tom and he was very professional. He asked for pics of my yard and got a plan made up, including design illustrations, of what I had expressed I wanted for my pool. I also called other pool companies, just to price check the quote from Omni, and only 1 other one got back to me. Omni was a little bit more money, but they use better parts than other companies and have good warranties. I had to wait a couple months to start because of other house projects, but we got started in early December. There were a couple of bumps and minor issues in the beginning, but Tom and Martin and all their digging crew got everything fixed the way I wanted. Ventura was my project manager and he was awesome! I had a couple gates with issues and Ventura got his gate guy Andy to fix both of my gates in a very short amount of time with no extra cost to me. He also gave me the door alarms I needed. Ventura took care of all the little details and made sure my pool was exactly how I wanted it - and I love it!!! It is now mid February and the finishing touches get done this week. I am so happy with the way I was treated by Omni, from Tom to Veronica to Ventura! I definitely would recommend Omni to anyone looking to build or remodel a pool! It's now four weeks later and each time we called to find out what's going on we were assured we would get a call back right away...that never happened either. We will take our business elsewhere. Wanting to write this review to put this horrible experience behind us with the close of this year. We signed the contract in Nov 2020, breaking ground began March 2021, and they finally finished in Oct 2021. (Yes COVID did have an impact with supply shortages). This pool comp has been a non-stop headache after we finalized the sale portion. Once we were done with our design and working w/ Dan (who is the only professional employee working there), everything went to shit. The communication, the project managers (Aaron/Scott) (who kept changing and not notifying us of the change), the schedulers (Veronica and Donna, who also changed mid-way through the build). I cannot express how unprofessional they were. Never did they ever feel it was necessary to call us, but they only do it through via text, days later or weeks or with no response to our original text. We were always trying to be proactive in this pool build and they did not treat us with respect, common courtesy, and zero professionalism. We would call and send emails and texts, and the turn-around time in their response was unbelievable. Scott, Aaron, Donna, and Veronica, all did not provide a professional experience. I We truly regret going with this company. If you can avoid them, please do so. When we would have a trade finishing out their part, we would speak to them about Omni and they would also agree with the unprofessionalism and how they were not a good pool company. This was from their contracted source, and not just one or two of these trades were saying it. Their portal to hold all of the info (Buildertrend) (schedule, payments, pictures, design) did not function the way they sell it. No pictures were uploaded of our pool, no building process, no updates, nothing. You cannot even pay through the portal. Please stay away if you can, we 100% do not recommend. read more

Timelines were not 3-5 months as anticipated and ran into a lot of concerning issues. We signed contract in 1/21 and project wasn't able to start until 4/21. To date, the project is still pending completion. They have a builder app for timelines and it was never followed nor updated. The site does not communicate nor coordinate well with their vendors; and the vendor they work with have been very responsive and helpful through the process, because Omni was not in communication with them. They also lack professionalism when reporting issues and respond with inappropriate reasoning that was not helpful to the problem. One major concern was a water leak. It happened in multiple areas and from separate sources. Our water bill has been very high for a couple of months and have not been able to get a response nor help from Omni and had to work directly with vendors. Omni also does not meet with us in person. We take time off when they schedule time on site and do not show up, pushing back their appointments with us to review these concerning items. We also have not been able to see Omni in person and unable to schedule the last appointment - punch list, but they have instead requested pictures via text and have been finding that we have to provide them reminders or re-send pictures. Would have liked if the company provided more coordinating skills, prioritization of time-sensitive or concerning matters, and proper communication to have had an easier experience with this process. read more

We hired Omni this year in part because they are Rosie on the House approved contractors. Rosie usually has high standards for contractors. We expanded our yard & added a BBQ kitchen & Spa this year. It was contracted for 3 months (began in April). It wasn't complete until Mid-October! That's 6 months for a bbq & spa! Double our contracted timeline. We had a favorable experience with Nick, Aaron, and Beth in the office. They are professional, courteous, attentive and respectful to the homeowner. If you hire Omni, contract to work with Nick or Aaron directly, NOT Martin. My caution for any homeowner here is with Martin. He doesn't follow through or show up on the site to oversee the building and when there's delays he blames the homeowner. For example: We had 3 therapy jets NOT installed as designed because he wasn't here to oversee the build-out. We also had a monsoon flood in our yard that nearly entered the house this summer b/c they didn't finish the yard drains we requested in a change order a FULL MONTH before the storm. Another contractor we had on site (Assurance Builders- doing our roof) came over immediately with a water pump, sandbags, and tools to keep the mud from entering our home. Martin told me "sorry I'm working at my house", when we requested help that day. He's absent on the job site, incompetent & rude to the homeowner. Do not work with him! Conversely, working with Nick and Beth was great! They are the ones that give Omni a good reputation in Tucson. read more

We began our pool process this spring (2016). After lengthy research we opted for Omni Pools to do our construction due to their reputation. Their staff and crews were impressive.Their assistance in material and equipment selections and little design alterations were great. They know their stuff. I have to give extra kudos out to the excavating team. They showed up at 2 pm on a Friday afternoon. They mapped out and dug our pool in a matter of four hours. Amazing to see them work until 6 pm non-stop, and on a Friday of all days. You know, when you're ready to get the heck out of Dodge on a hot Friday. We are not talking about a little pool either. 12' x 53'. More like a public pool we've been told. Next I send my praises out to the rebar guy. Never have I seen a man work so tirelessly in all my days (which are many). He worked on his own and installed a massive web of rebar reinforcement without stopping in the extreme Tucson sun. He was amazingly impressive and it honestly looked like a work of art when done. All in all our pool took from April (conception) to August to complete. The pool company had to wait on us as we departed the heat for a month during the process and had them wait until our return to continue construction. Martin and his crew were great about accommodating the delay. Of course there were days when rain hit and things went on hold, construction crews maybe had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, etc. But we were kept abreast during the entire process by a wonderful asset to Omni, Ashley. Anytime I had a question or needed to make a request she was right on it. I never had question as to where we were in the process or what I may expect next. If I needed something done (like additional pavers for my own use) she was back to me with it in no time. My guess is she keeps those guys on their toes at all times. Her organization and updates kept us totally comfortable with where and when things would be done. I probably wouldn't have held together as well without her constant guidance through the process. Customer service gets a 5 on this one. The process of having a pool installed is not instantaneous. Martin told me during construction he had another client tell him that having a pool built during summer is like being pregnant in summer...miserable and you just can't wait for it to be over with. But once it's done you love that baby like crazy. When it's 105 outside and you're looking at a big concrete lined hole wishing it full of cool water, but it's not time yet. Very much like being an expectant mother. I will say we definitely love the result of Omni's efforts on our behalf. Had a first time meeting at my home scheduled with Omni on 11/13. The sales representative called 10 minutes after the scheduled time and told us that he was going be to late because the clocks in his office got changed (we don't set clocks back here). After showing up an hour late he met with us an had no desire to hear what we wanted in our pool and brushed off our attempts to show him pictures of what we had in mind. During the course of our conversation he let it slip that he was late because a meeting with another client ran over (caught him in his lie). The sales representative did not want to meet with us until 12/4 at 4:30pm to present an official quote. Between 11/13 and 12/4 we did not hear from him once via phone or email. Got a call from the sales rep at 1:30pm on 12/4 asking to reschedule to 12/6 due to having something important in the office come up that he needed to handle. Good thing I had already made the decision to spend my $55k with a company that actually wanted my business. read more

This will be a bit, so bear with me. My spouse and I started our pool process about a year ago. We vetted sites by the displays on their webpages and then looked for them at the home show selecting the top 3. All I can say is that appearances can be deceiving. All three came out to the house. Took in a look at our property and took our requests into account. I won't bad mouth the other companies here (why bother) but none of them really listened to what we wanted. Two gave us pools that you see everywhere else. One attempted to sell us the same pool they had in their own house, thinking that would be what everyone else would want. So, we went to the 4th vendor on our initial search, happy we did so. They came out to the property multiple times, first the sales rep and then the design specialist. They sat down with us and asked us what we wanted. Took into account that we didn't want cookie cutter. Took into account that we wanted something to entertain in, that would take advantage of our city views. Then gave us something that blew our socks off. Our pics and picks of the other projects that they have in motion are on their facebook page. Unlike other reviewers, we found them incredibly responsive and willing to work with us. Martin and Olga were great to work with... were there challenges, hell yes. Wettest winter in over a decade. Other emergencies at other sites. That happens, for some reason I grew up understanding that the world doesn't revolve around me and the things I got going on, people get sick, folks get injured.... so we had those challenges and yet, things still got done. Martin was by at least twice a week. We'd talk about what was next and what I could expect. Sometimes it took longer than anticipated because crap happens (rain, inspector availability, illness, materials) and sometimes bam bam bam, you know, real life. Heck our initial choices for some of the finishes turned out to be unavailable (happy for us, to be honest) so our designer took us over to Arizona Stone (great place btw) to select some products that they could get their hands on (like I said, we were not going traditional in our looks and finishes here) and we made selections from what they had and tbf, it was better for us that we did. Aaron the design expert was great. He listened to what we wanted and got a feel for what might suit. The shape and features of the pool are unique when combined together. Doesn't mean that they can't do the traditional stuff, but they had to stretch their legs for us. We included things like a 15 ft curved seating bench, an expanded spa, a lagoon with compass and bubbler, cannon scuppers, and a rock waterfall/fire feature that has to be seen to be believed (or you can check out their facebook page and check out Westside pool and you can see the pics). The crew that they used to do the work, did great work, the inspectors praised them for their work in setting up the plumbing (really, the plumbing) The construction guys did their best to not destroy everything (and they didn't, had to remove a fence with a three foot deep concrete footer to get access and didn't ever bitch about it). The tile guys were here cutting and sawing and placing the material with care and made sure to give me any leftovers (because that's how I roll) During this, Martin was here, with each crew, checking in, explaining what they hoped to get done with realistic timelines. We had tweaks along the way... recess some of the scuppers over the lagoon, done. Need to trench the additional gas line, can do. Turn the rocks in this feature a certain way... done. Moderate the gas flow to the fire features, done. The thing is, they listened to us and our reasons, agreed that the tweak had merit and just went ahead and did it for us, no problems. The whole process from breaking ground to finished product took roughly 4 months, thanks to the weather and some availability of folks to sign off on the work. Since it was winter, that was naturally a challenge but overall, we have something unique, something that's ours and Omni, I think, was as proud of their work as we are pleased to have it. The price for nice things costs and yet, I still feel that I got great value with what I purchased and I feel like I'm in a resort every time I use it. Maybe I will eventually just get to giddy everyday, but it will still take some time. Also have to say, that because our project was a big one, Omni had to coordinate with Santa Rita Landscaping in order to know what was saved as far as plants and providing access to the job site (my house) both companies stayed in touch with each other and coordinated well together. I found the overall experience to be a good one. Yes, there were challenges, but what big project doesn't have them? Realistic expectations and making sure that you hold up your end of the communication is key. No problems recommending them, period. read more

We hired Omni Pool Builders, LLC to replace the PVC return lines, new skimmers and skimmer lines, a new dedicated vacuum port and an auto water fill to an existing pool we were remodeling. The work by Omni was done promptly, they were paid promptly as per our contract. Once the pool plaster was done and the pool was filled with water, we contacted Omni to finish connecting the new lines to the pool pump, label the new lines, unplug the new skimmers and finish installing the auto water fill so we could start to circulate water and add chemicals. The tech came but not when the office was open so we couldn't check everything while he was here and ask questions if needed. The tech connected the lines to the pump but did not label the lines, did not install the float for the new auto water fill, and did not unplug the new skimmers. We tried to configure the valves so the water would be coming from the main drain only since the skimmers were plugged closed, but could not find any position that would work the valves. Note: the dedicated main drain line was not part of their scope of work and was not to be altered. We made repeated calls for someone to come out and fix the water fill, label the equipment, and show us how to configure the main drain. After many calls and two and a half weeks later, on June 29th mid after-noon the Property Owner and myself met Martin (Co-owner) and his tech at our pool so they could label the equipment correctly, fix the auto water fill, and show us how to work the new valves and skimmers. After looking at the connections and without admitting to what we already suspected he said "I'll have to ask my plumber and get back to you." Later that day the owner of the property emailed Martin and thanked him for coming out, he explained again why the main drain being on its own dedicated line was important for our property pool. If after talking to his plumber he confirmed that they had removed the dedicated Main Drain line and connected it to the passive port on one of the skimmers, he offered some solutions that could be done to fix the problem. After that email and with no response, the owner called directly to the Co-Owners cell and left a message, and sent more emails. It took more than a month to receive some form of communication from Omni, but it was only to let us know that the email that we had been communicating with them before was hardly ever checked. This issue has still not been addressed and we have yet to receive a return phone call from Martin. Update: On August 8 Omni came back out to address this issue, when Martin and his plumber left it was still unresolved. Later that day the owner of the property found he buried drain pipe and he called Martin to let him know. Shorty after the plumber was here and it was fixed. read more

I acquired several bids before signing with Omni Pool Builders. Omni's pricing is very competitive but it was at meeting Aaron that our decision was made. Aaron was not interested in selling any unnecessary products or services; instead, he made recommendations that made sense. A true artistic designer, he made multiple trips to our backyard prior to starting the build so that he would have a better vision of the finished product. I asked his opinion about multicolored plaster - he recommended quartzite tile that was not only visually stunning, it was cheaper. Aaron brought over samples and set them in the pool so that we would be comfortable with the decision. We agreed to a deck strip and resurface; plater total chip and Pebble Stonescapes install; and waterline tile cleaning. Upon signing the agreement, I explained that there would be a tight timeline due to the fact that I would be entertaining out of town guests. Aaron and Martin agreed to timeline and, true to their word, the build was finished on time despite inclement weather. Going through my first pool renovation, I had a significant number of questions. Over the course of the build, I sent off a dozen emails. All of them were answered promptly - even on weekends! It is rare to find a company so focused on communications. Omni's customer engagement is phenomenal. Finally, the quality of work is second to none. We could not be more pleased. The pool plaster (PebbleStonescapes) looks amazing as does the waterline tile. The deck work too is of high quality; however, my wife and I chose the wrong color and are moving forward with a new top coat that better matches the flagstone. Olga was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Martin was professional and timely answered all my questions. Aaron is a true artist that knows his craft. Thank you, Omni.
