#1 two eggs with one fries and a side of grits
Helen S.

Service here was outstanding. Sarah did a fantastic job. We were greeted quickly, seated and had our beverages in just a few minutes. Sarah offered the option for my potatoes to be a bit crispier...yay! And, as promised, the rye bread was fantastic. I had the #1 with two eggs and bacon, while my husband had the hungry man. I also was able to add a cup of grits..yum! The place is busy, but so friendly. There is the chatter of happy customers. Very welcoming and would come back again if I was in the area

The food was awesome. The service was friendly and nice. They answered all the questions we had about the menu and even allowed a sub substitution of their breakfast item. The ambience was really relaxed and quiet. You could hear the person sitting across from you with no issues. The corn beef and hash is made from scratch which is a plus in my book. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Great diner with friendly workers!! As soon as I walked in, I felt very welcomed. We checked in with the host for a table and there was a little wait but I love that they give you a buzzer to let you know when the table is ready. The food tasted good but the pancakes were what stood out the most to me. They are big and fluffy and you can taste the vanilla! The only negative was that some of the benches are torn up a bit from wear and tear but overall great place.

My delicious omelette and my beautiful hash browns!

Holy moly what a fantastic breakfast place. And reading the menu, I am sure it is a wonderful lunch place and simply a marvelous place to have dinner. This was our first stop after I had a bit of minor surgery in the Columbus area. I couldn't have asked for a better location to relax, unwind, and enjoy one of the most flavorful meals. I think I've ever had. My wife and I were both able to enjoy the euro omelette with the addition of spinach. Everything had such tremendous flavor, the portions were generous, and it seemed our coffee cup could never run dry before they were there to refill it again with some of the best coffee I've had in a while. We had a moment to speak with one of the owners, and she shared with us both she and her husband were the proud owners of this wonderful restaurant. We wanted to let her know that our experience was fabulous and that we couldn't wait to come back for another trip. Oh, I'm not going to schedule another surgery, I believe we'll just make a special trip to enjoy another fine dining experience at this wonderful establishment. You don't wanna miss this, stop and give them a shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.!

Eggs over medium with bacon and rye toast.

We were visiting the area and had no idea where to go for breakfast. Our hotel desk associate suggested Olympic Diner as it is a local favorite. The interior is ...... well, like a diner, just not one of those ones that looks like an old airstream. We didn't expect anything more than that.... As it is a diner. Looked like a scene from Corner Gas really. We ordered our typical breakfast, 2 eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns and rye toast. Nothing special, but everything was very good as though we had cooked it at home.... But no cleanup. Our server was attentive and friendly. You could tell that she's made many friends with the customers. Total for breakfast including tip was $20. Can't beat that. And, I don't care for chain restaurants when I can eat local.

I love homemade corned beef hash with poached eggs and they did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious. The serving was huge! My husband had a meat filled omelette which he totally enjoyed. The service was on point and the restaurant was quiet and conducive to conversation. I would definitely come back.

I may have eaten here twice this week. It's that good. And the service is great. Smiling, happy servers. And the owner typically checks in and thanks us for our business. I had the #6 breakfast platter with smoked sausage. Their waffles are also very good. And the cod Sandwich is popular with my group. The corned beef hash is different than what you might be used to with large slices of corned beef, bell peppers and onions. Very lean. I'm a fan and will be back.

We popped in here for breakfast after talking about going to this place for years. For some reason it just always skips our mind! So happy we finally stopped in. We love diners and we love breakfast and brunch. I will say, it was SO hot in there lol. It was a weird warmer day seasonally but that was a little but of a struggle. Aside from that. The service and the food were great! I got the corned beef hash. I'm alittle but of a sucker for corned beef hash. I saw a few people with complaints that it wasn't the traditional kind of corned beef hash that they are used to so it wasn't for them. To put it bluntly, if you're looking for a place that serves the corned beef hash that comes in a can and served off the griddle then it's probably not for you. This is legit fresh corned beef sliced up and chunked up and fried up with eggs and potatoes and onions. It's delicious. My husband got the mama bowl and loved it. We will definitely be back to try other things!!!

We love this diner! They have consistently great food, generous portions and good service. It's standard diner fare, we go frequently for breakfast and have always been happy. Most recently I got this grilled chicken salad, made it buffalo style. SO good! They served it with warm pita, really satisfying. 10/10 recommend!

Yet another good breakfast, good diner, good food, good portion size, good service and good price.

WoW! Behind the innocent facade of a strip mall restaurant, lurks a very delicious place to hang out and have a nice breakfast/lunch/brunch. I have been wanting to go here for a while now, so today was the day i got to experience it. These mom and pop places are the heartbeat of America, and this one didn't disappoint. My mate was already there, so i walked in, told the server i was meeting someone here. Wow, just wow! I have pictures, and let me tell you about the olympic burger. It.was.delicious! Cannot wait to come back and this time, bring the Swiss!

Came to Olympic diner for a breakfast date with my son. The server was attentive and prompt. We got a #1 which was two eggs, meat, home fries, and toast. I got my eggs on the side and extra crispy home fries. My son got a Mickey Mouse pancake with bacon. Everything came out right and was great

Our tables were in a little sectioned off portion of the dining room, which made it feel more intimate. We really liked the placement of our party. Our server was sweet-she shared with us that it was her second week on the job. With that in mind, she did a great job. The timing of the food was rough with main courses coming out before the apps, some people's food coming out well after others had finished, etc. (kitchen problem, not a server issue) but the food was all tasty. There weren't very many chips with the chips and queso. We asked for more chips and they came out about 30 minutes later after the cheese had congealed so more timing issues. There were also lots of issues with the bills-the wrong meal being on the wrong bill (again, the server was new)-so the manager had to get involved to correct them. He was not friendly, nor was he apologetic. I thought he should have been more supportive of his brand new server and more involved with the party (the restaurant had less than 10 other tables filled, so he could have helped for sure). We will likely return and give it another shot.

YE Gurl Says: Brunch, Babies & Biscuits at Scramblers Hilliard…read more **Date:** September 6, 2025 **Place:** Scramblers Hilliard You know when you've lived somewhere a while and then discover a spot hiding in plain sight? That's Scramblers Hilliard. A friend put me on--and even hosted her baby shower there. Imagine a cross between Denny's and First Watch, with an added bonus: a back space event area you can snag for free (since they don't do reservations). Translation--get there early, chicas. For the meal, I skipped the all-you-can-eat griddle (tempting... maybe next time ). The Surf's Up ($12.99) went to the beau: tender, sustainably sourced shrimp sautéed and folded into hand-cracked scrambled eggs with cream cheese and dill. Served with hollandaise, bread, and your choice of a Scramblers side--it was a crowd-pleaser with a little doctoring up when we got home. I went with the Big Country ($13.79)--a layering of giant flaky biscuits, golden hash browns, two eggs, and sausage gravy. Except, I forgot the sausage gravy part might include, well... sausage. I picked it out, but even then, the dish landed kind of flat. Heavy on portions, light on flavor. I had to break out the ketchup, and honestly, it still needed heat. I get it--the flavor runway is probably tailored to their audience dun dun dun..., but still. What made the morning sparkle wasn't the food but the reason: celebrating love and longevity with Kenya G. and her soon-to-arrive little Elite-in-training. 15+ years together? That's the kind of milestone brunch is made for. YE Gurl says: Scramblers is more about community than culinary innovation, but sometimes that's exactly what you need.

The food was good, and the servings were a good value for the price. The pancakes are some of the biggest I've seen. My server was great. The place is really lovely and I like there is now a parking garage just steps away. I started with a specialty sip cocktail - an Orange Cinnamon Bun Old Fashioned, and ordered 3 apps since they were half-priced for happy hour. The Biscuits for a Cause (2 with butter, jam and honey), Fried Pickles (chips with ranch), and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes (I don't normally like goat cheese, but these are served with stone-ground goat cheese grits) were all fabulous and I had plenty to take home after trying all. I had a glass of red blend wine with my entree, which was the Pan-Seared Salmon. My two chosen sides were the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The salmon was perfectly cooked; it was a great dish. I also got the Rosemary & Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes to go to have with my breakfast this morning. The service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. The manager also helped out bringing food, and checking on me. I would return for another meal.

It's a small shop by a gas station. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and they were ready to take our order before we were ready to give it. I asked about a couple of the varieties in the display counter and those answers helped me make my selections. We ended up with 6 different varieties. A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!!
