Popular diner in Hilliard was my breakfast spot this Sunday morning and I am happy to begin making this a regular stop. Location: intersection of Rome-Hilliard and Roberts Road, Hilliard Ohio. Parking: perfect indicator of seating. Parking supports several businesses in this small plaza but majority of spots seem to hold Olympic diners. I took last 1 of 2-3 open spots and there were no open tables and 3 seats at the counter. Price: Inexpensive. Portions are large, too (good value) I sat down at the counter, leaving 2 seats together open for other customers and struck up a nice conversation with a young lady finishing her second breakfast. I asked how the sausage gravy was and got the rundown of her feast, and 2 breakfast orders. Her companion recommended the meat loaf but 10am in a Sunday morning is not meatloaf zone for me. The exchange intrigued me enough to order the #4 breakfast special: 'over easy, rye' 3 eggs, any style (over easy for me), 3 meats (sausage links, bacon, ham), home fries, and toast (rye for me). Huge 'there is no way I can finish this' feast for just under $9 was delivered quickly, despite the breakfast rush. Coffee added $2.29 to the order and was freshly brewed and good. The food was cooked well and tasted good. The eggs were perfect. The potatoes were a generous portion, but not as crispy as I would have preferred. Definitely still tasty though. I watched in awe at the kitchen filling orders and the staff scooping the plates from the kitchen window and delivering to the guests. It's simply fun watching a busy, well-orchestrated restaurant run. I would try an omelette on my next visit (unless I go for dinner, then I'm going to have to try the meat loaf) ... the breakfast meat festival was good but definitely more for a lumberjack. It was a good sampler though - and since this was my first visit, the perfect order. I would probably also ask for a side of grilled vegetables (available on the menu) and cooked with the potatoes and request them extra crispy. Very nice experience. read more

My third visit of Olympic Diner. Great classic songs in background with servers humming or lightly singing along. It's Your Thing by Isley Brothers playing now. Consuming my favorite meal of the day, breakfast. I ordered Meat Lovers Omelette with a side of hash browns, biscuit and a cup of sausage gravy added. Meal delivered quickly, not even five minutes but place was very empty today. Wonderful tasting omelette. Cooked well. You can pay thru your iPhone. QR code on receipt enables contactless payment and is quick. Allows for tips to be added and receipt sent to you. Email is required to finish payment. The visits have been warmly welcomed. Servers are busy so expect a longer wait than other places but they are friendly and service is excellent. read more

Good stuff! The parking is fine once you get into the lot (looks a bit odd from the street). The service was friendly, you could tell that there were lots of regulars who were enjoying each other and the staff. I had scrambled eggs, sausage and a waffle. I've heard nothing but good things about this restaurant and we wanted to give it a try. We stopped by on a Sunday around 11:30 and they were very busy, which was a good sign. We only had to wait a few minutes and the hostess, who I think was one of the owners, was very kind and kept us updated. Our server Sophia was very kind. She was very attentive and made sure we always had everything we needed. We thought the eggrolls could have used some bbq mixed with the pulled pork, but everything else was good. I had a fairly nice experience, not great but nice. My server and the others were friendly and efficient. I had my food very quickly. The food was mostly good. The hash browns were excellent, browned nicely and warm. I had a breakfast meal that gave me toast, eggs, hash browns and three different meats. That was nice to taste three different meats. The serving size was large...enough for two people. The eggs were warm, fresh, tasty and prepared as I asked. The toast was ok, except it came with some kind of margarine in it. Although I do like to see a better bread, this was just normal wheat bread like Wonder. (Do they make wheat bread?) And butter is a better choice for flavor. The meats were ok...nothing special. The ham was the better over the bacon and sausage link. The bacon was just meh. The sausage links were tasty, but actually pretty cold, that was disappointing, but they brought hot ones when I responded to my server when she asked how my food was The place is clean and spacious with comfortable seating. read more

Had a great waitress and good Eggs Benedict! Nothing fancy, just eggs cooked right and hollandaise sauce not broken. It scratched the itch!! I would love if they offered another side (or side choices) instead of potatoes, but I also didn't ask because I didn't know I wouldn't be crazy about the potatoes...so maybe they would! Nice little diner. My wife and I got the #1 breakfast and it came out great. Great customer service and the food came out in good timing, considering they were pretty packed. I will be back to try their burger sometime. I only gave 4 because of the napkin issue. We only got the one with the silverwear wrapped in the napkin and that's it. Great diner we stopped at after a soccer tournament. Was Sunday around lunchtime so they were understandably pretty busy. The wait to get seated was reasonable and the waitress was friendly, attentive and moved pretty damn quick. After ordering, the food came out quick, hot, correct and delicious. Wife had the reuben sandwich which was one of the best she ever had. The Italian sub was excellent. Son had the kids 1/4 lb cheeseburger meal that he devoured. Oh, and the french fries were extra crispy like they were twice fried. Very good diner food. Looking forward to trying their enticing breakfast food next weekend when we will be in town. read more

Great local diner. The family that owns it is so nice and want to make sure everything is to your liking. We have always been there for breakfast but They just started opening for dinner and it was homemade and delicious. I had a salad, meatloaf and mashed potatoes. My son had a Philly steak. food was decent, service bad. get to the place, and only a 15 minute wait, it's 20 minutes later and no table yet. this one guy comes walks straight in the door with his family, and gets a table right away. i was hungry waiting 30 minutes and he walks in and gets his hungriness satisfied! we ask why he got a table and the lady acts clueless, but the lady LITERALLY WAS HAVING A FULL CONVERSATION WITH HIM BECAUSE HE WAS A REGULAR. i am still hungry. finally buzzer goes off and we sit down food come out fine my french toast was just bready and i think someone sneezed in my syrup. only one star because the bacon is delicious. read more

First visit this morning. I saw the window sign for $3.99 weekday breakfast and said hey, yes. I went to the gym first. I sat in a booth and had the no meat #3 full breakfast for $4.99, which was 2 eggs, home fries, and toast, translated to me eating 2 eggs over easy, home fries (I prefer hash browns but these were great), and rye toast with apple cinnamon jelly. Add coffee and water and I had a great post-workout meal. Pleasant service too, especially the little boy who brought me my menu. :-) read more

I have never been but I have heard great things & plan to go soon! I am a nurse practitioner at a local medical office. A patient of mine had arguable the worst night of his senior life..car accident, er visit, stranded at the Er, getting a cab home only to find his house keys were in his now totaled vehicle. He spent most of the evening stranded at the Waffle House on Roberts rd trying to find a Locksmith, only to discover that 24hr emergency locksmiths are now extinct due to covid. He walked from the Waffle House to the Olympic diner- not a short walk- anyways while at the Olympic diner he met Alex. Alex works at the restaurant and not only paid for his breakfast but drove him home and waited while the locksmith assisted him with getting into his home. Alex may not remember but he was truly the only light in my patients horrible night, when he told me the story he teared up remembering his kindness. So thank you Alex. I just wanted the community and the owners to know that we have a super hero among us. read more

Amazing food! Great customer service! All the qualities you need for a highly rated restaurant. We walked in. You have to come while church is in session on Sunday or else you may not get a seat. It gets busy when church is let out. Last time me and my parents tried to eat here, there was a long wait. We sit down and our waiter is very nice. We get are drinks quickly and the menu has varied options and super cheep prices! We had a very hard time deciding. We finally decide and order our food. My parents get their coffee filled quickly and enjoy the decor around the inside of this diner. The walls have painted figures of Greece. Once we get our food, the toast is perfect to our liking. The eggs are cooked nicely along with my biscuits and gravy. After we finished our delightful meal, the owner comes and chats with us and she was very nice. This place has a good price range, efficient waiters, nice decor, great costumer service, and awesome food. read more
