Ed even met me at a granite warehouse and a yard to pick out pavers and the perfect slab of granite., He was very kind and ensured I got what I wanted. We live next door to a customer of Oliver-Enterprises who had extensive landscaping done last summer which involved a new fence along our property line. Here is a summary of Oliver-Enterprises impact on us: They removed a mature 30ft tree next to the new fence that was entirely on our property without asking. That tree provided privacy and shade. Before the work was done we wanted assurance from them that the tree in question wouldn't be harmed. They replaced it with a small 8 foot immature tree that looked dead the day they planted it. A hose and timer were hooked up to a faucet in our yard and the new tree was watered incessantly for about two months in the hope that it might survive. That resulted in our next water bill being hundreds of dollars more than usual. Our side of the fence is half painted even though they've had since the middle of the summer to paint it; plenty of time with lots of good weather. Jeff Oliver didn't respond to several emails on the issues. When he finally responded, he dropped by to 'talk' which means he wanted to argue and disagree with everything I described. That was followed by an abusive tirade from him on my doorstep. Then at the end of last year they said that they needed a week to figure out a plan. After a further 3 weeks, I asked for an update and got a voicemail from Oliver saying I'm not his client and he doesn't want to deal with me further. Nice. I feel really bad for our neighbors who are lovely people and I do not hold them in any way responsible for Oliver's behavior. To sum up, I found Oliver-Enterprises to be unresponsive, arrogant, ignorant and dishonest. read more

I reached out to Oliver Enterprises for a residential project that I expect would've cost anywhere from $30-$40k. Initially, things went well. They responded to my request and sent Chris to my property. Chris was knowledgeable and personable and my wife and I felt comfortable moving forward with our project. Chris said he was a little busy, but that he would get back to me in a week or so. I waited two weeks before reaching back out, but now nearly a month and a half later, radio silence. Multiple calls and emails went unanswered with only vague promises of "he will get you that quote soon." I know things are crazy with residential construction projects, but this was 1) not a small job, 2) not overly complicated, and 3) Oliver Enterprises expressed multiple times that they were interested. If this wasn't something they thought feasible for their schedule or interest, then they least could've given the courtesy of telling us to look elsewhere. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using this company to look elsewhere as no homeowner needs a contractor to disappear while trying to complete your projects. read more

The contractor removed the existing brick walkway and replaced it with poured concrete walkway. The contractor took great care to ensure my lawn and driveway were not damaged or stained. The workers were friendly and courteous. The mason asked multiple times while the forms were being installed if it met my expectations. The mason was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent final result. Their quotation and billing processes were also very timely, efficient and professional. I used the masonry services of Oliver Enterprises to replace the concrete front stairs of our home that were falling apart with age. I had solicited several quotes and went with Oliver Enterprises because they seemed the most professional and knowledgeable. Frankly, I was surprised at how high all the quotes we received were. However, after seeing the skill and effort required to construct the new stairs, it became clear why it cost as much as it did. The new stairs consist of solid granite steps and stone risers.
