Lorenzo and his team arrived at 8am, they got to work pronto. They were here to prune a number of trees that were 100ft high, they worked hard all day. Lorenzo has all the big equipment to do a job like this. I was impressed with his big new bucket truck and his tree grinder. They put so many branches that were like trees themselves into that thing, it was kind of amazing to watch it. They were very neat in their work, did not tear up my yard. Put down some plywood, cleaned up after themselves, and also pruned and shaped some smaller trees in my front yard. They were very careful where the branches would come to rest after they were cut and very skilled in the exact place they lowered the branches onto the ground. They used chainsaws and pruners and roped all the larger pieces so they could control exactly where any limb landed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with their job and wouldn't hesitate to use them for anything else and they do quite a few different things. read more

Be warned: this company may seem great at first, but they are completely unreliable. My experience started well--Esteban's team was prompt with the initial assessment and provided a very good price for cutting down a tree and trimming others around my house. I agreed to the quote and was told they would come to do the job. After that, they vanished. No show, no call. I tried to reach them a couple of times, but my calls were never answered. This unprofessional behavior left me stranded and delayed my project by several weeks while I searched for someone else. read more

Over all they did a good job. I would have given them 5 stars but for the fact that we had to contact him twice to come up with a start date. Once they were here, we planned out what they were going to do and they did everything within 2 days. read more

First time using Yelp to find someone to re-pave my front yard after the porch construction. Lorenzo responded quickly with an rough estimate, and came out and checked out the site and provided the practical proposal with reasonable price. Had to chase him to get the schedule but once he privided the date, his team came out on the scheduled day and completed the pavement as proposed. Very happy with the quality of the pavement, and they cleaned up the site and removed leftover too. read more

I need to have my driveway repaved, replacing a crumbling brick paver driveway with less expensive asphalt. Lorenzo of LL Hardscape responded to my Yelp enquiry, and came by to give an estimate. I was impressed by his knowledge and ability to address improving the drainage and street edging with some masonry in addition to the asphalt paving. His estimate was fair for the asphalt, a little high for the masonry, but I accepted the proposal and declined other contractors. Then, complete silence. No response at all to repeated questions. Very hard to understand. I hope everything is fine, but not knowing, I need to let others know not to waste their time and delay their projects! Note: after posting the review, I did hear back from Lorenzo, who had decided not to take on the project. But I am not changing the rating which is based on the length of time to get a response after accepting his estimate. read more

Esteban Landscaping completed a complex tree removal service for us within a tight timeline. I was impressed with their thoroughness in addressing our concerns. The team was respectful, open-minded, and confident they could tackle the job. We were in the middle of a fence installation when it was brought to our attention that a tree needed to be removed in order to clear enough room for the fence to align with an existing one. We originally opted to keep the tree in place and work around it, but as we kept moving forward, it just made sense to do things right the first time. Esteban came out within 24 hours' notice, gave a very fair estimate, understood our timeline, and returned a day later with all the necessary equipment. They carefully navigated through tight quarters, took down the tree, cleaned the site, and left with a smile. These guys crushed it. Kudos to their tremendous skill set. We were left with peace of mind and a clear path for finishing our fence. Highly recommend. Thanks guys! read more

Lorenzo and his team did such a great job installing a retaining wall and stair repair for my house. He was able to come estimate quickly, and got the job done so fast! He also was able to keep the project within our budget, which was really great considering how difficult our landscape is. We are so grateful for their efficient work, and already got compliments from the neighbors. I hired this team because of their pictures on yelp and it turned out just as expected! read more

Rafael is the owner and has been our landscaper ever since we moved here in 2018 and really appreciate the quality work. They're hardworking, top notch attention to details and the quality of work they do! Our lovely hardscape stones and rockwall are nicely done, fantastic looking and worth moneys spent. All the shrubs, lawn maintenance, spring/fall cleanup, plus some other odds and ends jobs are all taken care for us as well. We're very pleased with their services so far and will faithfully continue to provide business opportunities for Esteban R Landscaping & Construction Inc. Thank you so much Rafael and crews. We hired Esteban landscaping to remove all the old landscaping, lay down new dirt and grass, and they also installed a brand new walkway and stairs -- everything looks amazing. The crew kept the job site clean and tidy every day, showed up on time, and paid attention to the details. Super happy with the results and would definitely recommend them! We plan to use them again soon! read more

Lorenzo R. Esteban (owner) did not show as promised to remove a large tree. He relayed he will come by the next day. Again did not show. I asked several times through our communication to send proof of insurance. Each time he said yes and will send tomorrow but Never did. Possibly did not show due to my insistence of needing to see valid insurance. Beware. Very Bad. read more

I contacted Esteban in April for a quote on preparing our lawn for a garden planting that we were planning for June, and he gave us a good quote. We wanted to be sure to be on his books early, and asked twice for a date in the last week of May. He didn't give us a date, but said he'd be there, "don't worry." A week before, I texted him, and asked him what day he'd be coming. He didn't reply to three texts asking him when he'd come. I called him, and he said he'd check his schedule and call me back that night or the next day. He didn't. When I called again a few days later, he finally said he'd be here on Thursday or Friday. It rained all day Thursday, so I was expecting him Friday at 7:30. He never showed. I texted him asking if he was on his way. No reply. I called, and it went to voice mail, but the mailbox was full. He never called or texted to explain or apologize. We had been counting on Esteban doing his part that week because we had booked another contractor to do the next part of the job over the weekend. We had to cancel that and scramble to find a replacement for Esteban. Fortunately, we were able to get someone who came out for an estimate on Saturday and did a very good job on Monday, for less than Esteban had quoted. But Esteban's unprofessional behavior set our project back by a week. Not recommended. read more

Excellent service removing a tree that had fallen in a storm. Nearly immediate Response and came to quote the same day. Great communication by phone and text. A Tree had tipped and was leaning on our house from an adjoining property after cracking about 6 feet off the ground in a recent storm. Lorenzo and his crew worked quickly but took their time discussing, planning and ensuring the tree would go where they wanted. Very professional work, and not rushed through. Managed to avoid our house and both neighbors fences as they felled the tree from the neighbors yard into ours! Removed all material, cleaned up and even used leaf blower to remove saw dust! Extremely happy with their work. Definitely recommend! Thank you Lorenzo. read more

This company was great! I reached out over Yelp projects and they got right back to me. I needed a huge pile of leaves cleared from in front of my house the day before Thanksgiving. The price was reasonable and the work was perfect. It had rained overnight and was raining still, which makes leaf clean up much harder, and they still got the job done. They work was immaculate too, they did a really good job. I'll definitely be using this company again. read more

I'm proud to be the first to review Rafael's work and to provide a solid 5 stars for it. His response to our inquiry was very fast and he arrived the next day to quote our project. His quote was delivered at the time of his visit which was nice considering some other contractors didn't even send a quote after coming to the property. We wanted a paver patio with sitting wall and fire pit, preparation for a shed, and yard cleanup with new mulch. The overall results are outstanding and I will outline each below: Paver patio: Rafael and his team worked diligently to prepare over 700 sqft of paver patio with wall and fire pit. The pattern laid was very intricate but was performed accurately and with great skill. Final work included glueing of the wall coping and poly sand. The sand turned out great with tight joints and a smooth protective finish. Shed preparation: Rafael dug and filled a 240 sqft shed base for us. His dig out was very clean and effective use of the compactor meant we don't have to worry about the shed moving over time. The shed contractor remarked that the pad is one of the best he has seen. Yard cleanup and mulch: Not much to say here other than the results met all of our expectations and then some. Edging was cut accurately and mulch laid very smooth from edge to edge. Cleanup under the plants was done effectively and the mulch laid under to help keep them moist in the coming summer heat. Overall his work over the last couple weeks has been 5+ stars. I don't hesitate to recommend him for any landscaping job you may have. Give him a ring as I think you will be as happy with your result as we are with ours. read more

I spoke with Lorenzo who came to my house, waited for an estimate . Then I received a budget as he called it by text with wrong size materials and size of project. His price was cheap, and after I got the budget I didn't feel to confident that he had experience with what I wanted done. He does not offer a written estimate or contract . It wasted my time but I did enjoy the photos on yelp which is what made me call in the first place. read more
