They did the landfill and seeding for our downward sloping backyard in the first project then cut a few trees down in the second project, both of which were very nicely done. Edgar and Sons is a high quality company. They did a fantastic job re-doing our walkway and front step area. They also repitched and leveled our front yard which was sloped towards the house bringing in rain water during heavy rains. We have had no problems since. Edgar is a good communicator, fair and sticks to his word. He will fairly workout a problem if it occurs. We had an issue with miscommunication regarding the type of stone I wanted for a stone riverbed in the front yard. I asked to see the stone before they laid it - but that detail got lost somehow and they laid something I didn't like. He was willing to compromise to change the outer layer to the wanted, even though the stone I actually wanted was a lot pricer - which I hadn't originally realized. Edgar & Sons' tree service & landscapers did a beautiful job in restoring the yards at the front, sides, and back of my house. Due to an injury, I haven't been able to keep up with the yard and it has become overgrown. They trimmed out two trees of dead wood and cut out some overhanging branches, cut back some very overgrown shrubs, cut down some volunteer tree saplings, and dealt with an invasion of vines on the garage and back fence line-- all while treating all the roses, hydrangeas, and other perennial plants and shrubs with care. They mowed the grass and trimmed the hedges, and put everything back where it belonged. It took three of their crew eight hours to do something it would have taken me a full week to do. They did a beautiful job sweeping and raking up, too. The crew chief, Avner, was polite and friendly, and the whole crew did an excellent, fast job. The price was very reasonable for all the work that had to be done. If I could give a million stars, I would, but for now I'll have to just hire them for ongoing biweekly maintenance and fall cleanup. read more

When the day of work came it POURED, and he and his boys got all the trees down anyway, they even took down an additional one we decided should go. We had him come back and grind the stumps, and level, grade, and seed our former wooded area. All done excellently, and entirely coordinated by text with no need to make time to walk anyone around or talk on the phone.
