We hired him for recurring weekly mowing. We never knew when he'd show up, and it was different almost weekly. When we'd ask when he was coming, he acted annoyed. He came one week only a couple of hours after heavy rain and destroyed part of the yard because it was too wet. I told him it wasn't a big deal because it's been so wet, but just an FYI that he tore up some of the lawn. His response was that our lawn was always too wet in that area...not even a simple sorry, just letting us know it's our fault not his. Then things got bad. He did not show up one week because of rain, and he couldn't fit us in later in the week...which I understand completely. Then the next week he said he was coming, but days went by and nothing...so at the end of the week I messaged him and asked if he was coming, and he said that he didn't have anywhere to put our grass clippings, so no he wasn't. He never even contacted us to let us know that he was having an issue, just gonna no-show. The following week I texted him to ask if he'd let me know when he was on his way so I could clear the yard of the kids toys. He told me that he was not going to allow me to be "checking in on him" and that it wasn't a good fit. He then said he was dropping us the same day he was supposed to show. This guy really treated us wrong and I don't want it to happen to anyone else. We now have a jungle for a lawn and are leaning on a great referral to come fix the mess.
