VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. This fall, I contracted with them for snow plowing for the winter and walked…read morethem through the property prior to first snow fall asking specifically about concerns I had with an older driveway. They said "no problem". The first snow was 3" with snowfall ending in the morning hours. They dispatched the plows too early, before 11pm so half the snowfall was still there in the morning. Then I noticed not all the area to be plowed was plowed. They didn't plow the end of driveway, in front of the barn, or close to the markers they placed in the yard as they had agreed to. Then I noticed that my older driveway, which I specifically asked about, was damaged. It's an older driveway, with the center higher than the tire ruts. I told the driver during the walkthrough that I understood the sides would end up having snow in them and I was ok with that. What I didn't expect was to have the pavement broken down to bare dirt with huge 5" x 7" chunks of pavement ripped out of the center. They said I needed a new driveway - well, I certainly do NOW!! They never apologized and just said it couldn't be avoided, and cancelled my plowing contract. They said that they never told me they could plow it without damage. That is B.S. Who hires someone who knowingly would damage your property? No one. That's who. Last year, I had contracted with an independent driver, not GroundHog, who had never plowed before and he managed it just fine with no damage. I'm so disappointed he wasn't available this year - this whole issue could have been avoided. I called to address my concerns, but instead of changing drivers, or even admitting fault, they took no responsibility for their actions. They exercised absolutely NO customer service skill to resolve the issue, nor did they offer any renumeration for the damage, other than to not charge me for that storm. Thanks guys - you saved me $50, but will cost me thousands to have the driveway repaired because I can't afford a full driveway replacement. Here's my recommendation - don't use them.

I received an estimate a week ago with a prepay price for the entire years service for lawn…read morefertilizer and mosquito and tick service. I received in the mail the bill after they came for two separate visits. The estimate expired today. I called to pay the entire years service and get the prepayment fee but they were not allowing me to receive the prepay for the full year. Since they came before I received the letter I had to pay full price for the two visits. They did offer to allow me to get prepay price for all other visits. But I had to eat the difference on those two visits. The said all others who had this happened paid it and it was only $24. On principle I paid full price for the two services and cancelled my plan. My total year was just about $1528.00. They did a great job for the two services but if you tell me one price then change it that doesn't work.

It wasn't…read morean emergency; we still had an operable pump, but it was running constantly and costing us a fortune on our electric bill. It was only a matter of time before it stopped working and we knew it so, we wanted to get it done before disaster struck! The first company came last week. (name begins with a C) They told us we needed to replace the pump and all the lines going out from the house to the pump. The price was $4k! We were in shock as we never anticipated it would cost that much! They wanted to do it there and then, but we wanted to get a second opinion, so we called Epping Well & Pump. They came out today and, they were fantastic in every way! Both guys (wish I had got their names), were great! They spent ample time diagnosing the problem and were extremely knowledgeable about what was going on. We were impressed as they explained everything to us in a way we were able to understand. They were polite, friendly, honest. We were told what to expect and what to do and not to do in the following 24 hours. In the end, we got the new pump installed and a new check valve. They did NOT need to install new lines! Total cost: $2350, a WHOPPING $1650 less that the first guy quoted us! What a relief to have the new pump installed and running perfectly! I can't wait to see the difference in our electric bill next month!! My husband, Beagle (they loved her) and I, could not recommend these honest and friendly guys enough! Thank you, Epping Well & Pump, for a very positive experience!
