This tree service did an excellent job taking down 100 foot trees but I was disappointed with the removal of the wood chips and have spent many hours cleaning them up. I signed a contract two months prior to the scheduled date of service with Accurate. One week prior to the service date Accurate called me to say they needed to push my date out another 30 days. When I asked why they said they were behind on work. It took me several phone calls just to reach someone in the office to confirm my new date, my wife actually had to make a phone call that was answered. I had been previously told that the company only does Residential services on Fridays. When I moved into my new home, about 1 week ago before my new service date, I was surprised to see the company go two houses down and clear out a residential lot (that my builder had purchased) The work they do is fine but be prepared to deal with multiple schedule changes and lack of communication. read more

Accurate Tree Service, LLC failed to keep any promise to us. We ordered firewood from them and they: 1. Assured us that they had and could deliver seasoned firewood. 2. Failed to make the delivery window which they said was 3PM-5PM. 3. Dropped a load of unseasoned wood nearly 7PM at night when it was too dark to inspect. 4. Sold us firewood that produces hisses, sputters, and steam when we attempt to burn it. 5. Sold us firewood that even after it was placed in the oven, fireplace, or before a propane heater for days produces the same results (in other words it's not damp wood, but unseasoned). 6. Truly failed when we sought remedy of this situation by being unprofessional, rude, accusatory and lambasted us, the customer they had already injured through what seems to have been "sleight of hand" practices. 7. I can't say enough about Accurate Tree Service. I had a massive silver maple limb removed from a tree on my property recently. The limb ran right over the corner of my house and was clearly decaying. The job was incredibly tricky to get to, in a small yard, with no easy access to the tree and a limb that was less than a foot off my roof line. My anxiety was high about that one! The team came in and in under two hours lifted section by section up and over my roof and onto the ground below, navigating wires and a complicated neighborhood situation. I was so impressed and the team was 100% professional and friendly. I watched as the limb that was at risk of taking out the entire corner of my house was gently and efficiently removed piece by piece until nothing was left to compromise my home. What a relief! They even worked diligently to move up my date any time there was an opening. My job was done 2 months early. And Jen, the dispatch agent was lovely. The man who did my original assessment was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The crew who arrived was not. My lawn was damaged and more of the tree was cut than originally discussed. This service may be ok for removal because they were very responsive but I cannot recommend it if you want your landscaping to look ok afterwards. read more

My husband and I had bought 2 seasoned cords and 1 green. Upon delivery of the seasoned we noticed it was SO dirty, not very cleaner wood at all. After stacking the wood, there was about 20++ wheel barrel full of scrap that my husband has to shovel away. When I called to let them know, it was a bit of phone tag and they apologized and said we would get a free 1/2 cord of green. When the green was delivered, again we ordered 1 cord to begin with the delivery guy said that his truck could only hold so much and it would be illegal to pack it more than a cord. So we didn't get any free wood or a refund. This wood is so filthy, I wish we would have researched other places before buying. Update* Customer service followed up with me to go through this issue. The women tho usually ran the service was out on leave. They brought us additional wood, and explained it was a fluke accident. They now have a tumbler that helps with the dirt/ bark residue. Great team of people came to cut down a large maple tree in our yard. Reasonable price too. Did a little damage to the lawn but that was expected. Everything cut up and removed except the large trunk. The guys that were here told me the truck that hauls that away is usually right behind them. Maybe a day or 2or 3. I called the office to find out if they had a schedule of when it would be removed. They told me 5-10 business days! I was so totally shocked when (come to find out it was the owner, I had thought it was a new employee that was hungover from the weekend and had a fight with his girlfriend in the morning or something which shouldn't matter anyway) showed up to give us an estimate. Came in an unmarked truck. My dogs ran out & yes 1 did jump up on his truck excited to see who was here. This guy said "This is not the way I want to start my Monday"...I called my dogs away & walked a little up the driveway. He got out of the truck & the dogs ran back down. He got back in the truck & proceeded to fly back down the driveway! He left!!! He never said 1 word to me. No introduction or anything. Extremely rude & unprofessional. So much for trying to stay local. I have been in customer service for 30+ years & was a landlord for over 20 years & have dealt with many companies. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this! Do not recommend this company at all. He should feel embarrassed at his behavior. I am actually happy that I saw how he was upfront before we went ahead with him as I am sure he would have pulled some other crazy antics. We will most definitely tell anyone looking for tree service our experience. A tip would be for them to advertise to keep pets inside whenever they are there & that they are not animal people!! Outstanding service from the initial estimate to the final sweep-up of the sawdust. I had several troublesome trees in close proximity to my house and septic leach field. Some were leaning toward my house in danger of crashing down in the right snow or wind storm. Others had limbs overhanging my roof. Another leaning into my utility lines waiting to take them down in that right storm and a couple beside my driveway suffering from partial rot. One of these had damaged a car by a broken limb crashing down in a heavy-wet-snow storm the previous winter. These latter two trees were in close proximity to the high power lines running along the street. I was concerned about the risk from these trees but I was also concerned about my lawn, my leach field and my house with all this heavy work so close to it. Lastly, I was concerned about the safety of working in close proximity to the high power lines. All of my concerns were allayed by this team of professionals. They maneuvered their equipment in and around tight spaces to safely take down the branches and heavy limb cuts without any damage to property, lawn, shrubbery, etc. They worked around the leach field and got the job done. They had an insulated bucket truck to work next to the high power lines and took those trees down safely and neatly. The clean up was excellent. The crew was very competent, professional and personable. Chris gave me a very competitive estimate (lowest of four bids) and the crew lived up to his promises and to our understandings. I live in salem NH. After calling 8 of the largest tree services in my area, they all showed up to give my fair estimates. However, all communications were stopped when I asked for their insurance binder. After all, who would let anyone work on their property without insurance. So i called accurate tree service. They came down, gave me a good estimate, had their insurance company fax me their binder, and did the work. All within the time promised. They were professional and clean. I'd hire them again in a minute. So next time you need tree work done, I highly recommend accurate tree service. read more

I signed a proposal with Will Maltais on 9/20/2017. On 9/26, I contacted Paul the scheduler for a date. Paul said he didn't have my paperwork, and I should call Will and he supplied my with his phone number. I called Will who told me the paperwork was in his mailbox at the office and he would take care of it. On Oct 2nd, with still no date, I sent an email to Molly Gardner, administrative assistant, who contacted Paul. Molly replied via email that she asked Paul to reach out to me and apologized for the miscommunication. She wrote that Paul had me tentatively scheduled for Oct 19. No required follow up instruction was mentioned. In preparation for the 19th, I removed chain link fencing and cemented post for yard access. I waited until 8:20 am on the 19th and sent an email to Molly for assistance. With no reply, I called at 9:00 am. I spoke to Kelley who contacted Paul. Paul called me and said he tried to call me but had the wrong number and couldn't read Will's writing, so the 19th was not a confirmed date. Such an extreme lack of effort and finger pointing by Paul is inexcusable. Yes I was offered an alternative date and Yes I refused. I will not do business with Inaccurate Tree Service in the future. Zero stars would be a better rating. Updated on 11/1/17 from a 10/19/17 review: Received a call from Karen on 10/31, who apologized for what had happened and asked me if I had the trees removed from someone else because she was going to offer me a great price. I told her the trees were removed the very next day. She then offered to grind the stumps for nothing. Of course I agreed with that and ATS came out the very next day on 11/1. After grinding, the two guys filled a truck load of wood chips and left to dump the load and grab lunch. I received a call again from Karen and said that "the 2 guys were not supposed to clean up the wood chips for we don't do that and they had another job to go to". And that is how we left it. However, having the stumps ground and the chips almost entirely picked up was a plus. When the two guys returned (still had a full load of wood chips) they picked up their tools and left. I didn't even know they had left. I changed my rating to 4 stars, primarily because ATS followed up on my complaint which is unique in itself. Once my wife & I settled on which trees could be taken down (the ones closest to the house) I did a search on Yelp for Tree Service - these guys popped up on top of the list. We set up an appointment, got their quote and scheduled them to come down. Happened to be one of the coldest days so far this year but the crew showed up bright and early with the biggest crane I've seen ready to get to work. We had settled on five trees but they suggested a couple others and in total nine large pines/oaks were taken down - many only a yard from the house. It only took about six hours and they were done. Expert work, great friendly bunch of guys, and they clean up after themselves - and gave us a good deal on the additional four trees - I totally understand why they were top of the list when I was looking for "tree service", they are tops in my book!! These guys are fantastic. I hired them to take down 10 huge trees on the property. They are amazingly knowledgeable about trees -- they were quick to complete the job, and the estimate was dead-on accurate. They advised me to leave some trees that I had considered taking down, and suggested that I might wish to take down others that appeared sick (one of which turned out to be almost entirely hollow at the base -- not a small thing when it's a 50 foot pine near the house!) When they left, you couldn't tell they'd ever been here. These guys are great. read more

a full crew and many pieces of equipment showed up on time and busted their backsides on a cold rainy day, removing 40+ trees and grinding the stumps. The lawn was raked and the driveway was swept upon completion, leaving the area in very good condition. The crew was professional and careful, removing trees that were within a foot of our sheds, removing trees that were well over 100 feet tall and 3 feet across at the base without damaging the sheds or the house, even in the confined areas. Communication from the time the contract was signed until the crew left was superb, I never had a concern. I contracted with Accurate Tree Service after watching them do a job close by last month. Even from driving by a few times over the course of a couple of days I could tell they were PROFESSIONAL. I have no reservation about recommending them to anyone. read more

This is our third time using Accurate Tree and we cannot be more pleased. This company has the BEST employees and work ethic! We are surrounded by pines and for the past few years, have had issues with trees that have come down, whether in part, or parcel. Scary! Most recently, during a windy day, a huge pine broke from the top and left a very compromised large pine. I called Accurate, once again, and they immediately sent out Matt, who was friendly and very honest. We decided to have the guys come in, again, and they were here within one week. With a foot of snow on the ground and right on time, I watched in amazement. Guy,(who was not feeling well,) along with Eric, were absolutely amazing. With each tree, Guy and Eric were like the 7 dwarves going back and forth chipping, cutting and cleaning up the downed trees (6 pines total). They never stopped and continued till all the trees were chipped. Jonah, also not feeling well, was incredible to watch, hoisted up onto each tree, and tying off each tree with the most accurate precision. I marveled at how he could do this feeling a bit under the weather, as I get a cold and want to spend the day in bed! He was precise in every cut he made and worked in 1' of snow also..incredible! Now..to the crane operator..Ben. In past years, we have always had Tyler, another professional, operate the crane. When I realized it would be someone different this time, I held my breath. I truly believe Ben was Tyler's mentor! The way in which he effortlessly moved each and every trunk from the massive pines , gingerly laying them down next to our border of hemlocks, was incredible to watch. One word...OUTSTANDING! Upon completion of the cutting, they cleaned and made my driveway and yard look better than before..with one foot of snow on it! I even saw them shoveling. .who does that these days? Most workers are too busy looking at their watches to get home. I do not have enough adjectives to describe how awesome these people are. .all employees for Accurate are exceptional... proficient, professional, extremely helpful, friendly, and exemplify the quality of an A+++ Company. I called twice over a two week period before I received a call back. Once the date was set to cut the trees, the date was cancelled because a piece of equipment was broken on the crane.Then we set up another date. This was also cancelled because rain was in the forecast; however when looking at the hourly forecast, it was a 40% chance one hour the whole day at 4pm. It never rained. I called the office not pleased because as you can appreciate we all work and need to make arrangements to take a day off and have someone home while this was being done.I received a call back stating I would be getting a discount on the tree removal. $2000 to $1800 to make up for any inconveniences. This was a nice discount however I was told that "they are trying to squeeze my job in". Not sure why I was being "squeezed in" as I am a paying customer waiting over a month to pay for a service. Another date was set to have the trees down-the crew was there at 6:45 am to take the trees down. I have stone wall and was asked if I wanted to keep it. I said yes. Half of my wall was destroyed in the process. Now I need to pay more money to have this fixed and rebuilt. Extremely dissatisfied. I was not advised that all these machines would be tearing up my entire yard. There were tree shavings, rocks and debris all over. The logs were left in the middle of the street cul-de-sac for 2 WEEKS! Neighbors were complaining I had to call to have someone come get them. It was over a month and I had STILL Not received a call about having the stumps removed. I sent the above to the office manager and she said she was very sorry that I had this much trouble and would do anything they could to make it right. The day the trees were taken down, a machine operator told my dad landscaping companies would come out and level the entire yard for the dirt and this was free. Before I agreed to have anyone come out to rebuild the wall, I asked about having this done. I received a call back from office manager and she told me the operator that told us this, said my yard did not qualify due to the access space to the back yard being too small. SO WHY BOTHER TELLING US??? I told the office manager that if the yard could not be leveled off, then I would like that wall rebuilt. She offered to have a guy come out and take the chunks of rocks that were cemented together that came apart from the wall placed back on the wall. I said this is not fixing the wall. I can pick up the chunks and do that myself. I am beyond aggravated with this company and would not recommend to anyone. I have had nothing but no or poor communication. This is no way to run a business and I am VERY disappointed. The lack of communication is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope this incident will help them improve for future customers because I would hate for someone to share my experience. read more
