We're especially thankful he did--because when the Dig Safe team arrived to mark the area, one of them smelled gas. She immediately contacted Liberty Utilities, and when they came to inspect, they discovered a leak in our furnace, which had been installed just three years ago. Liberty Utilities promptly shut off the gas, and we had a plumber come in to make the necessary repairs. Thankfully, everything was fixed and the gas was safely turned back on within four days. Huge thanks to Todd's Tree Service for following Dig Safe protocols. We can't imagine what might have happened if that leak had gone unnoticed. And we can't forget to mention--Todd, your team did an outstanding job with the tree and shrub removal, plus all the extra landscaping. Our yard looks absolutely amazing! Again, I can…read moreonly comment on customer service as I've still not hired them to do any work; this is just to add more details regarding my deep disappointment in communications with them. On the day of my original review post, I received a call from Mark. He hadn't seen my review, he was calling to follow up, asking if I've had my trees removed yet. we talked a bit with my explaining that we were still waiting for the updated/correct draft/estimate of the full work we wanted done. He said he'd come by, look at my property again and work on getting the estimate completed (I was hopeful); however, shortly after my conversation with Mark (same day), Karen called me, told me she read my review and didn't like it (imagine that) and asked what could be done to get it removed. There was no apology, nor any suggestions or offers on how to correct things! I told her we'd have to wait and see what Mark comes up with. a week later, on July 22, Mark calls me to say that he's come up with a plan that he thinks covers everything I wanted and will have it sent to me...still nothing, so I called Mark on July 28, left a voicemail asking about status. Here it is August 10th (2 months since initial visit) and all we have seen is the company doing work on a neighbor's home, the past week.

Mr. Bolduc showed up on time for the appointment, listened to our needs, and gave us the quote before he left. The office staff did a great job of keeping us informed of when they would be here to do the work. The work crew showed up on time and were friendly and extremely efficient. They spoke with us to confirm what we wanted before starting and made short work of getting set up and moving things out of the way. They even chipped a pile of branches we had collected. :-) We had two large maple trees trimmed back and three trees removed. For the trees they trimmed, they examined each branch before removing it and were very careful about only removing dead/dying branches. Chipping everything as they went. The trimmed trees look great! The trees they took down were in very tight spaces. They were very careful to not damage anything. Our 30-40 foot tall, 80+ year old, mostly dead maple came down in about 45 minutes. Never even came close to our shed that was about 4 feet away from the base of the tree. They were kind enough to cut a slab from the stump for us to keep. They were very safety conscious. Hard hats, ear and eye protection, and the person cutting always made sure everyone was clear before starting the next cut. They were a pleasure to work with, left the yard cleaner than they found it and came in right on target with the quoted price. We would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely hire them again if we need tree work in the future.

But as I run my own business, I know what it's like to have to stay on clients and it can be very overwhelming sometimes, but at least call me back.
