Greek Salad
Che F.

The service was great, the server made sure we got the table we wanted and the manager checked in on us a couple of times. We got wings, hummus and a greek salad. I've been here more than a few times and the food is always good but portions can be a little bigger.

This place is really sexy and they have a comedy cellar. Olivia was our server, and she was super sweet. Thanks for the service, girl!!!!! My friend took me after work and I was like a cafe lol but I was definitely shocked about the place. The stain glasses are beautiful The tables you can use chalk to write and draw on, so fun. Now food, my friend, so hmmmm, I wanted buffalo wings but got cauliflower. lol, I didn't enjoy that like I thought the falafel was really good. The combo of the plate was on point. The truffle fries were my favorite hands down. They also play some amazing tunes so that had me feeling myself

Thorough enjoyed ourselves during a midday jaunt. It was the perfect oasis to cool off and people watch. The service was exemplary.

Chicken Kebob Platter

This is my second time coming here . First time I came here was for for drinks. This time around myself and Fiancé came here for dinner prior to attending a comedy show . I had the steak and fries, steak was good; I just wish it came with a sauce. my Fiancé got the chicken kabab platter, which I loved . I love the fact that they didn't rush you so we were able to stay there until the start of our comedy show ; which started at 12am.

Excellent meal here, we had beer and coffee that were good. The Chicken Kabab platter had all food nicely charred, with some Indian spiced white sauce. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The white rice was plain but good. Decor inside is very classy with dim lighting. Lots of brown. Service was good, getting us everything we needed.

Live music on Monday nights

The burger was one of the best I've had in a while! They make burgers with a great seasoning mix of noticeable but not spicy/overpowering flavors. Vibe inside has an old school NYC element that works well. I went on Monday night for the music which started at 9pm; at times a bit loud but nothing crazy. Biggest downside is using the bathroom that's shared with comedy cellar; not great but manageable. And if you're a true New Yorker past or present you'll prob recognize some fellow customers inside (comedians, podcasters, popular 'intellectuals'). In modern times you prob won't get a better mix of eclectic mix of people inside that is authentically NYC which is getting rarer & rarer. My 2 friends who joined me had never been but really liked vibes & food too.

Mediterranean Platter

The Olive Tree continues to be one of my favorite spots in the city for the last 13 years. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food outstanding. I really appreciate the bartender Carly's creativity when making non-alcoholic drinks, as I am 5 years sober. Highly recommend 10/10.

This place never disappoints. I've been coming here for over ten years and with all the menu updates, it's still an awesome ambiance and selection of dishes. It seems like it's Mediterranean focused, however there are options that contain meat other than lamb. The Hummus Platter is pretty big considering the price and the area. The Mac & Cheese is also tasty, and has panko crust atop the dish. The tables are equipped with chalk! White only, however perfect for kids and fidgety patrons. Not sure if everyone knows this, but the bathrooms are below the cafe... through the cellar room reserved for comedy shows. The infamous Comedy Cellar is below the cafe, however you need to buy tickets for those shows separate as entry to the shows are NOT included in the dining experience. Greg was an awesome server; gives great suggestions. They also carry Irish cider. Check it out- it's definitely a staple of the NYU area.

Food, service, ambiance - all excellent. The Walnut Pesto Pasta was fantastic, and Victoria (the server) was very attentive and nice. This place has been around forever, and I'm glad the cafe is as pleasant (at least when it's not packed with tourists) as when I first visited.

I had a great time here. The sangria was great and my food was great. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We ate outside and it was awesome. It rained but we didn't get wet because the outside eating are is rainproof. I loved the atmosphere. Right downstairs in the basement they have a comedy bar which was pretty cool.

Please note that I am giving Conwell Hall 5 stars because of the extremely unique location and…read moredecor. It's worth the stars for that. Otherwise, it's another coffee place. :) That being said, the building and the interior are worthy of your time to stop in, especially if you are looking for a coffee and, like me, do not want to go to just another Starbucks or other typical coffee place. It's an old bank and they kept that esthetic, from the lobby and teller stations to the bank vault in the back. The prices here are very similar to other coffee places yet you are getting a completely different and elevated experience. :)

The decor and ambiance here is really worth a stop by. The entrance does say #20 on the revolving…read moredoor even though the address is #6 Hanover street, so you can walk by it the first time without realizing. Even when busy, it is fairly quiet so easy for a coffee chat or there were plenty of people also doing work. Most tables are two-seaters or high tops so pretty narrow. The coffees were ok, particularly for the price. There is an upcharge for every single thing. If you want your drink iced, that's 50 cents more. Add a flavoring, that's $1.50 for each one. For one "sugar and spice" seasonal latte (which just taste like pumpkin spice) and an iced vanilla latte (originally $6.50) the total came to $24 for two iced coffees. It's a nice treat out but not going to be a regular stop for the cost.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a warm, inviting space with exclusive books lining the walls, some of which are even for sale. The aesthetics are unmatched, and the whole place has such a unique charm. The food was top-tier! Everything tasted fresh and high-quality, like the ingredients were prepared right there on the spot. Between the ambiance, the food, and the overall vibe, this spot definitely left a great impression. I'll be back for sure to check out the dinner menu!

When you enter there is a bar you can sit at and two large high top tables next to it. As you walk further in there is a lounge with couches and various sizes tables. The whole space is surrounded by books! Heaven! We ordered a chai, matcha and a ginger cookie. Shout out to the woman taking my order for comping me my drink for my birthday! Everyone from the staff was friendly - I really enjoyed being there. The only thing I would say is someone should come by to check on the tables more often as I had to return other people's abandoned drinks. But you know what first world problems, am I right? Maybe they can have a sign or mention to customers to return their own cups before leaving. I sort of can't imagine why people don't... It is quite popular spot so you need to be very patient and strategic if you want to grab a table, as well as sprinkled with a little bit of luck. We unfortunately got there a little late. I went there at 3pm and hunted for a table and my friend got there by 330pm. By the time we ordered and started drinking our coffees - we were informed the lounge area will be closed at 4pm to prepare for the evening wine bar. Oh right this cafe turns into a wine bar in the evenings! How cool! At 4pm we thankfully grabbed one of the high tables - sharing it with another couple but it was large enough for the 4 of us. The lights dimmed and the atmosphere changed to more intimate. We unfortunately had to leave at 5pm, but I imagined picking up a James Baldwin book, ordering some white wine and enjoying both.... Mmm definitely next time. Maybe sometimes after work - sounds like a great wind down.

Come to Koré Coffee for their Croffle which is my primary purpose for my visit. Koré Coffee is located at 26A Elizabeth Street, Chinatown, Manhattan, NYC. Customer service is average with patience as I doomed scroll my Yelp app for a photo of my coveted pastry since I was unable to describe in words. Four stars, there are no tea options (hot or cold) available. No comment for the coffee or latte as I did not purchase any. I do not drink coffee in any shape or form. No restroom facilities are located on premise because this business does not meet the NYC bathroom requirements for mandatory facility of having 20 or more seats. Matcha Croffle with strawberries $11.00 (with NYC sales tax $11.98) It was served on a small plate. The Matcha green tea cream was refreshing delight as well as the strawberries. The waffle was good. I always have a predilection for waffles. It was filling as dessert for lunch or morning brunch. I enjoyed mine seated as I did not want the Matcha to spill into the bag or on my lap along with the strawberries dropped for loss. WiFi access is available.
