The guy works there is very helpful and patient. This is my first time try this type of food. Salmon fillet is great and tastes not fishy at all. The season is right to the point. Not busy when I visited. One concern I had is the food seems exposed to the air. Hope it's clean tho. I spent about $25 for a healthy meal.

LOOOOVE this lil place - amazing fresh, healthy food prepared & ready for you to enjoy. A few of my personal favorites~ MAINS: - salmon filet (comes w/ a nice dollop of avocado egg salad on top) - salmon cakes SIDES: (usually these come with the mains, and you can choose whichever sides spark your fancy) - avocado/tomato salad - greek salad - kale salad - tortellini AND THE SHINING STAR: the sweet potatoes! I've been obsessing over these babies over the past few weeks. I'm lucky enough to live across the street basically, so sometimes I'll pop over just for a side of sweet potatoes. (even if you don't see them out, you can ask & they'll have them in the back) I know they have specials of the day, where you get a good price on a main + 2 sides (something along those lines), which is awesome. You get a ton of food for your money & like I said- so fresh & delicious. They always offer to heat up your food for you, and their attention to the little things is much appreciated, like not putting certain foods in the same box (ones that might make a weird combo)- I can't think of a good example but I've always noticed they are intentional about their customers really enjoying the food and they don't want anything to hinder that. They always ask if you need silverware with your food- I don't since I live so close, but thought I'd mention it. They have some beverages, desserts, homemade soups, sandwiches, etc. They are also doing a great job with the covid situation always offering sanitizer and sanitizing between customers. I'm so so happy to have them close by & highly recommend if you're looking for a convenient, tasty, healthy meal to pick up.

I'm a local boy here in this neighborhood more than 50 years and decided to try something at Ready To Eat on Hudson Street which has been at this spot since 1999. I always passed it by when it had Rotisserie Chicken plastered across its entrance and I'm no lover of poultry. However, today I decided to try its rigatoni along with a turkey burger. Took 'em home and slow-heated 'em up in the oven before eating 'em. First off the rigatoni meal was virtually tasteless and hard while the turkey burger was ... boringly bland. I won't be back for a second try at its food selections because I don't believe in second chances for a business that touts itself as having a 'great selection of foods' and clearly doesn't. Add to that what virtually all other businesses engage in these days ... high prices for standard meals.

The place is excellent. Food choices are very good and are made fresh daily. I was quite surprised to find this type place in West Village I will definitely be back regularly. Only comment is that prices are not posted. You need to ask prices $

I have been coming here for years and have always liked the food a lot. The sweet potatoes are my favorite, but everything is good quality.

Screw the haters (sorry Karen, you know i love you), but this place is amazing. Yes, it is pricey, but I've never had a problem paying a premium for quality goods (I present my Amex bill as evidence) And this, my friends is quality goods. And not only quality goods, but quality goods in a place that lives up to its name. Hearty sandwiches, big, yummy salads, clever sides, and fabulous baked goods, all made fresh, pre-packaged and ready to go for a picnic, dinner at home, or lunch at your desk. Personal faves include the Atlantic Salad and the Thai Steak salad. I'm also a big fan of their little packs of 3 mini cookies. Minus a star for their beverage selection, which always looks a little sad to me (especially those cups of iced tea and iced coffee), but between this place and Out of The Ktichen, I've got my lunch covered.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. Service: Our server was super helpful in letting us know what items are more shareable and his suggestions for cocktails. Definitely try some of the arak based cocktails. We were lead upstairs to a table. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

Soft blankets, but still, I was worried Our menus flew away so I went inside and asked if we could sit somewhere else. They were able to sit us on the side of the restaurant outside under a plastic enclosure. Sitting down I was a little bit worried because the chairs at the table seemed really rickety until I met Juan. I forgot all about the rickety chairs and tables once Juan and the food entered my life. Juan is a bright shiny star so happy self friendly so warm and he told us everything to order. He didn't lead us astray once and we love that in a waiter. This time during our our New York visit we were not only discussing our food we are also our waiters. As the hummus was being served, I was telling my table that I don't eat hummus anymore. I found a reason to go back on that here. A must order would be the very first bread in the bread slices for handstands down. So I must've said that it was my birthday when I made the reservation which my birthday is this month and our dessert came with a candle and Juan sang happy birthday to me. It was so freaking cute. I was with two non-dessert eaters but they dove in and I seriously got no more than 1/3rd of it, not one slurp bite or morsel more. I wanted to order another. The only chains I'd make is that I wish there were more bathrooms. I felt bad for the waitstaff peeking at the line and choosing not to stand in it. I hear the chef is up for a James Beard award and the menu is changing with more veggies for the summer. I'll be back in August!

This is officially my new go to spot and I'm going to be telling everyone about it. I got there right at our reservation time, but the uptown trains had completely stopped and my friend had to walk all the way from Canal St to the East Village. It took her about 30 minutes to get there (), but the staff were so kind about it. They never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured to order while I waited, which I really appreciated. I did end up ordering a couple things so there would be food on the table when she arrived. We got the za'atar fries and the falafel with tahini and pita. Delishhhh For our mains, my friend got the chicken kebab which looked fantastic, and I got the veggie couscous bowl. It was unbelievable. It tasted exactly like the couscous my mom and safta made when I was growing up, even down to the broth being served with it. Eating it honestly made me feel like I was six years old again. This was one of my favorite meals as a kid and I haven't had it like that in so long, so I was so happy to find a place that does it this well. The vegetables were perfect with zucchini, butternut squash, cauliflower, and chickpeas, and I loved the addition of raisins and onions. Everything was also really reasonably priced for what you get. The energy in the restaurant was great and I loved that they have hooks for coats so you're not crammed at the table with jackets and bags. Overall just such a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and inviting -- exactly the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, whether you're there for a quiet dinner or celebrating with friends. The quality of the food was outstanding across the board. I ordered the Sultani Kebab, which was perfectly grilled, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly tender -- every bite melted in my mouth. My friend had the Lamb Shank, and it was equally phenomenal: slow-cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and bursting with rich, authentic Persian flavors. The saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, the bread was fresh and warm, and even the appetizers and salads showed real care and attention to detail. We literally cleaned our plates -- not a grain of rice left behind! What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Musa, the manager, is in a league of his own. Despite the restaurant being absolutely packed on the night we visited, he handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a genuine smile. He made sure we were seated quickly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made every single guest feel like a VIP. Musa and his team are a powerhouse -- incredibly strong, well-coordinated, attentive, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they take real pride in their work, and that energy radiates throughout the entire restaurant. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions, the premium quality of the ingredients, and the top-tier service. It's rare to find a place that nails all three -- food, ambiance, and hospitality -- but Ravagh absolutely does. My friends and I left feeling completely satisfied, well-fed, and already planning our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in a warm, welcoming setting with a team that truly cares, Ravagh is the place. A huge thank you to Musa and the entire staff for making our evening so memorable. We'll definitely be back -- and we'll be bringing more friends with us!

Delicious from start to finish!…read more A colleague recommended Ravagh for a team dinner in the Chelsea location and I am so grateful we came here. To drink, I ordered the Tehrani Mule; a take on the moscow with a house made ginger lime juice. 8/10; a tad watery. We decided to go family style with ordering and chose the mediterranean salad, kotlet, and falafel to start. The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!). It came with a side of tzatziki and persian zhoug (?) - a minty and herby chutney that just added another layer to the aromatics of the dish. Although the rice was great, it was a really large portion even for the group of 5. It would've been nice to have the option to split to a half portion of vegetables or different grain to balance quantity. Overall 8.9/10 - Definitely worth a visit with a group for business dinner or catching up on a friend's night out. The service is great, everyone is super attentive and you can really feel that the food with made with love. So glad I tried this place and I'll be back to give their dolmeh and dessert a taste!
