We started with drinks and ordered a Maple Old Fashioned and a Lemon Drop. Both were made really well and were nicely balanced, not too strong and not overly sweet or overpowering. For appetizers, we went with the Pesto Bruschetta, and I highly recommend getting that when you visit. It was a great way to kick off the meal. For our mains, we ordered the Crema Beef Medallions with Scallops special and the Chicken Piccata. Everything was cooked perfectly. The sauces were rich and flavorful, the beef medallions were tender, and every bite honestly felt very thoughtfully prepared. Our server, Juan, took care of our party of eight and did an excellent job. He was attentive, friendly, and really helped make the whole experience feel special. For it being our first time at Lomonte's, we were extremely pleased with the entire dinner from start to finish. We will definitely be coming back plenty of times in the future.

Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but overall the experience made us feel a bit overlooked. Just sharing our honest experience. I don't love the seasoning for the chicken koobideh but that's just a preference thing nothing was wrong or unpleasant about it. The lamb koobideh was on point. The meat that my SO had was very good as well. Beef was tender. The chicken was tender. The only thing I was confused about was that my SO was supposed to also have tahdig on his rice but didn't receive it, he just got normal rice. My SO didn't tell me until the very end of the meal though so we didn't say anything to them but it was strange to forget that part of the meal. We didn't knock them for that because my SO didn't bring it to their attention and I'm sure they would have fixed it if we told them. Service was very friendly. They kept checking on us and were very polite. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming in a strip mall but the inside is pretty. There are some other Persian places that we prefer but the tahdig and the service and the juiciness of the meat were great here. The flavor is good, I can taste the black pepper (but it's not hot). I just prefer less of a puréed soup. Lots of pita bread was provided. The worker taking my order thanked me for coming back.
