S'mores cocoa hot cocoa

Great brunch located right off of 35, great place to get large portions for an amazing price. The food is good and the service was welcoming, I definitely recommend visiting when in the area. 10/10 must try again!!

This was hanging over our table. Made it hard to eat my food

Six Shooter Breakfast Plate

First time here & holy cow. Portions are massive, service is very warm & hospitable and the kitchen is QUICK! I'm not in the area often, but will make this stop each time I drive through. If you're hungry and wanting a warm diner feel, this is your place. I ordered the Six Shooter: 2 eggs, biscuits & gravy, has brown casserole and chicken fried chicken. Couldn't finish even half of it, even though it was delicious.

Omelets for the win. They both come with two sides. We upgraded one of our sides to a cinnamon flapjack and it was totally worth it.

"This place is never not busy." As I was told by by a local dentonite, and they were right. This place was absolutely packed to the brim of people enjoying brunch. I totally thought we were destined to wait a crazy long time. However, since it was just a small two top we were seated immediately. Their menu is definitely intimidating and they even have a coffee menu that is two-sided. All I can say is the food is absolutely delicious and totally worth the wait. The portion sizes are huge so if you get an omelette you will not finish it. The flapjack was cinnamon crunch and it was amazing and did not need syrup. The coffee was also absolutely delicious. This was my one meal for the day and I was still full the next day.

Food is good, although not always consistent. Service always amazing. Brunch during the early hours gets really busy. Expect to wait at least 30 mins during the popular times. This is an extremely large area. Staff has always been kind.

Eggs, hash brown casserole and English muffin with Chicken fried chicken. Delish!

Typically go to Old West in Grapevine. Tried Denton location for first time. Old West is the best breakfast place in DFW! Be prepared to wait but worth it. Never disappointed.

Had a lovely experience here this weekend for brunch. It was a busy Sunday for sure with several families ahead of us but we only needed to wait 25 to 30 minutes for a table. The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions promptly. He moved with urgency and got us all that we needed! The food itself was delicious and there is plenty to choose from since their menu is massive. Each item was also decently priced for how much food you get. Restaurant dining area was clean but the bathroom could definitely be better as there was paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor.

We had the sweet and spicy shrimp- my fav by a long shot, the chips and queso- delish and then the meat and cheese plate. This was some white people ish. Was not expecting a bowl of solid cheese. Its like melted/hardened pimento cheese or the inside of a cheese ball or elevated cheese from a can. The mustard was very heavy with horseradish so that was a no for me. Wouldnt recommend this dish, but the shrimp app was super tasty and everything else was wonderful so they still get 5 stars from me. Also- super cute halloween decorations!

I ordered one made with pear liqueur that tasted just like apple pie! It was such a creative and delicious seasonal drink. For an appetizer, we ordered the UB Pretzel Bites, and they were INSANELY good! The pretzels were delicious, but the beer cheese and mustard really made the dish. These are an absolute must-order, and I would come back for them alone! For dinner, we had the chicken tenders and fries, which were great! The fries were perfectly crispy, and everything came with ranch, honey mustard, and ketchup for dipping. I also finished the evening with an espresso martini, which was absolutely delicious! To top everything off, we were treated to a complimentary birthday dessert, the "Chocolate Caramel Brownie Situation," and I genuinely think it might be the best thing I've eaten all year. It was THAT good! As amazing as the food and drinks were, the service was truly the highlight of our visit. Our bartender, Irving, was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special, and I can't thank him enough! Overall, Union Bear exceeded my expectations. Between the delicious food, creative cocktails, and outstanding hospitality, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience. I highly recommend stopping by, and I'll absolutely be back!

I like the dessert display very quintessential. The hash-browns were well cooked and tasty. My favorite part of the meal. Unfortunately I found the eggs benedict to be flavorless, bland and unsalted/unseasoned. Even after adding salt about 4 times, I still could not taste anything. 0: I dont think the muffin was toasted before assembly as it was soggy. The hollandaise lacked any flavor at all, but the texture was fine and the color was spot on. The eggs were cooked well and I have no complaints in that regard, the yolk broke beautifully and oozed out satisfyingly. The ham tasted... hammy? Lol? Did not enjoy that - but I will give them props that they layered the ham on and didn't skimp! My server offered me a drink to go as well which I appreciated. I had asked for my food to go, I noticed it was packed with care with a layer of tin foil under the food between the box so that was a nice touch, very professional and considerate. The staff seemed relaxed and content which made for a pleasant experience. The rest of the customers seemed happy and focused on their company, which is a good sign. The place was clean and the staff was quick to bus tables. Overall a lovely spot, if I were to go back I'd just order something else.

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

The beautiful garden setting was just as charming as I remembered. There were bunnies to see, baby showers taking place in the garden, and families enjoying the atmosphere. The owner even came out to personally greet my sister, who frequents the cafe with her kids. In fact, this is their preferred spot for tailgating before games at the school across the way. Why sit out in the elements when you can enjoy great food and beautiful surroundings? And speaking of the food, it was delicious! I had the Texas Avocado Burger with fries, my sister ordered the Turkey Avocado Club with tomato basil soup, and my other sister enjoyed the San Miguel BTO Tacos. They were incredibly generous with their portions, and everyone said their meals were excellent! What I love about Little Joe's is that it's so much more than just a pretty place to eat. The gardens are gorgeous, making it a wonderful setting for celebrations and special occasions, but it's equally perfect for a casual lunch or simply hanging out. It's family-friendly, dog-friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Little Joe's isn't just a special occasion destination. The feeling was soooo warm and inviting and the ladies greeting us were the absolute best. Encourages socializing if you'd like and you're allowed to bring your dogs. Our neighbors behind us had the cutest little pooch who took a liking to us right away. Such a cutie. Talk about a diverse and interesting menu. We opted to try the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup as well as the fried chicken sandwich and a bowl of veggie bean soup. Everything is fresh and tasty. Prepared to pure perfection. Both sandwiches were major home runs. Quality ingredients and preparation. Highly recommend. The soups...I can't even begin to brag more about them. The tomato basil is homemade and the best I've ever tried. My sister and I decided to split out sandwiches and boy was I glad we did. My veggie bean soup was soooo good. My absolute favorite. If you've been to Louisville, Ky and eaten at Lynn's paradise cafe (it's closed now) you'd have major flash backs. Memories... We had the opportunity to meet the owner and talk about warm. Hats off to a wonderful experience. The entire staff deserves applause. Finally, I end this review with desserts. We had to try (judge us later) the cherry pie and cinnamon roll. Both served with fresh fruit. The cherry pie was other worldly and the cinnamon roll was eye rolling deliciousness. Life is good!

My server was doubling as the door guy but what surprised me was that there wasn't another soul in the restaurant at 12:15 on a Friday afternoon. They have a wide open space for seating which to me might potentially get loud if it was busy, but with just me in the place it was quiet. I didn't feel any bad vibes at all from the place. I just happened to drive over while I was waiting for my number to be called at the tax office down the street. Luckily the service was speedy and fast. Cheese enchilada with carne and a hard ground beef taco are my go-to at any restaurant. The enchilada was fine, but the taco really underwhelmed me. Felt like I could make a similar flavor with ground beef and a packet of taco seasoning at home. I will say the shell was well-done to be fair it had a nice and light crispiness to it. Price vs food quality I'd say a smidge on the high side. I did the pick 2 for $13 whereas I felt like it should have been in the $10 range. But new place and new building I can understand if the price point needed to be higher. The menu did have a lot of other meals that I might have been willing to try if not pressed for time. Last thing I wanted to do was miss my number being called a the tax office. So speed-wise also great at this place. I got a couple refills of tea and a to go cup from the waiter and it was much appreciated. It wasn't the service here, nor the location I think. It is the food that probably needs to improve some. I left a $20 which was more than enough for the plate and tea and for the waiter who wasn't at fault at this place.
