I ran in to use the restroom while the family was getting the kids out of the car. I was met outside the restroom by a burly man who was very angry that I would use the restroom without permission. Love this place! The food is delicious. My favorite is the vegeterain pizza. Or the choose your own toppings pizza. No wait, it's the hot sandwiches. I recently discovered this place, as I often drove by but just thought it was another hole in the wall place in the outskirts of Tehachapi, and I was so happy to have finally stoppe in! The group I was with mentioned them as a place that offered Cauliflower Crust pizzas, so we wanted to try it out since pizza is always a favorite, and to have a healthy alternative was a win win! I especially love the location away from the business of downtown Tehachapi and the service was excellant! The owner was very nice explaining their Gluten Free and Cauliflower crust options. We completed our meal with a Dessert Pizza that also came in a healthy option of Gluten Free crust. We had a group of 5 and all our tastes were satisfied there. I don't come here often, but I have been coming here for years. They have changed owners a couple of times. The pizza is really good and they have a variety of other items on the menu. It seems to be a good hangout for families and groups and they have a back room that you can reserve. They always have great beers. They have lots of specials, but they don't seem well advertised. In fact, half the time it seems they are confused about which special is applicable or when it starts. All that said, I get their pizza infrequently and it is awesome. I think I would get tired of it, if I had it regularly though. I come here about 2-4 times a year and really look forward to the pizza. read more

This place is mediocre at best. Ordered a large pizza, it was cold and the crust was like cardboard. I also had a French dip- pretty sure the "meat" was just old pizza topping, and the bread was way salty. Not the worst pizza I've had, but not worth the money in my opinion. I've been to Old Towne Pizza many times. I came in on the evening of Saturday, Oct 27th and it wasn't busy, and the staff appeared to be cleaning the kitchen area. I was there to pick up a pizza. There was a table of four and they were keeping to themselves, and one other young woman sitting by herself speaking very loudly on her cell phone. She was cursing and swearing quite angrily. I was about to ask someone to ask her to quiet down, when my pizza was ready. I left. I came back to Old Towne Pizza today, Sunday, Oct 28th, this time with friends. Imagine my surprise to find that the young woman that was cursing and swearing on the phone was indeed there again. But this time, she was behind the counter taking orders. First time here. At 130 pm it's dead. The chairs to sit on are really gross. This place needs a good cleaning. We ordered hot wings, med pizza asked for thinner crust, and a small salad. Ranch was pretty yummy and the small salad was much bigger then expected. Also came with lots of fresh veggies. Wings were just right in hotness and pizzas were very delicious. The thin crust was just right for our family. There was not much extra oil on top of the pizza or under it. Over all we had a good experience except the cleanliness of the dining area. I did see that there were beer and pizza discounts for happy hr min -fri 2pm to 6pm. We will be ordering to go soon. read more

Came here with my kids because they wanted to play video games, price range for video games from $1 to $4 per play. Do not order from here. They are so desperate for customers they always tell me they will knock $3 off for pick up (we get delivered). I believe this is because they refuse to hire another driver which makes wait times over an hour for Delivery. food was great. we ordered the Friday special of a large 3 topping pizza, 12 piece hot wings, cheese sticks and 3 drinks. however this place gets 2 stars because of the rude service. there were 4 of us and I said out loud to my boyfriend that we were going to share our own drink. the owner/cashier proceeded to tell me "no sharing drinks allowed because I lose money like that" um? what. you're telling me that taking a couple of sips from someone else cup will lose you money? we just spent over $30 and we can't share one drink but we can share our pizza, wings, and cheese sticks? horrible. I have been in Tehachapi for about a year and finally decided to try this place. Like many of the other reviewers here, I think the wait time is too much and kills the chance of liking the place. I ordered a 6" French bread pizza with a regular salad to go, there was only two or three people already waiting. I waited 45 minutes and my pizza was room temp upon arrival. A Dirty restaurant @ noon with no customers is unacceptable. The kitchen was filthy like it was a left over mess from the night before. The service sucked. The guy got half the order correct. Brought my mini pizza out, then served the people behind us their pizza while the rest of the family waited to for their food. About 15 minutes after I received my food they brought out the kids spaghetti to find out that he forgot to make the wifes order. Enough was enough. Every time we have been there 1) Pizzas never come with what we order and are charged for~~~ 2) at Least 1/2 of the Arcade games are NOT working although there are no Out of Order signs on them & no refunds are given~~~~3) the girl working day shift is very rude!!!~~~~4) Owners act like they could less! Remember hearing that OTP was pretty good. Thought we'd try it out. Friday night, 7:30 pm, place was basically empty. Not a good sign. It was also dirty. We were tired and figured we'd get a to go. Placed the pizza order and also a pitcher of Blue Moon beer. The beer was awful! I went to the counter and the owner or manager ( I think), was there. I commented that the beer tasted off, sour, and maybe they needed to clean out the pumps. It was also flat. She beamed at me and thanked me, saying that if people don't tell her, she will never know what to fix. She said sometimes the temperature rises when they get busy and crowded because the doors are opened where they pour the draft. I'm not sure what she was trying to say. I hadn't said the beer wasn't cold. I said it was sour and flat. I looked around and saw one other table occupied. they weren't busy. Did she offer to refund me the beer money? Ah, not so much. Did she ask if we wanted something else to drink? No. She disappeared. After the pizza was boxed and brought over to us, I walked back to the counter and told the girl there that we were leaving the untouched pitcher. We didn't want to drink it. She just said ok. I was curious to see, given a second opportunity to do the right thing, if they would. They didn't. Pizza? Mediocre, and I'm reluctant to eat it because the place seemed so dirty. Definitely won't be back and, if the appearance and customer service we received tonight is typical, I can better understand why a pizza place is virtually empty on a Friday nght!! BEAUTIFUL YUMMY PIZZA & GREAT SERVICE! we go at least twice a week to old towne pizza the owners take our order personally and everyone treats us like family. the beer is always cold and if we have a call in order and have to wait anymore then 2 minutes they offer free drinks. we don't like olives on our pizza but we get the combination last time and forgot to tell them no olives and they offered to replace our pizza (even our mistakes they are happy to fix) love them and will continue to be favorite customers! read more

I love Old Towne Pizza! They still make the old fashion way - by hand (versus the who knows what you get by the local delivery pizza franchise). You'll defintely taste the difference. If you're feeding a large crowd, try the "Ulitmate" but be prepared for extra prep and cooking time. A pizza restaurant such as this can't decide on its strike zone. I've gotten a lot of cold food and uncooked portions because of this place since workers around here obviously fail to take an honest stand on quality and performance. To be sure visits have been taken at a pizza establishment where cheese pies either have too few of toppings or excessive amounts is what's been considered in my seething mind after being given service that's very much like a rude point of confrontation, on the part of employees who'd rather build a sandwich out of the wrong bread or dispute on my pleasure with their incorrigible senses. Before leaving the restaurant on each visit, reminders of nasty blue whales and cigarette fires are indicated by signs around that lobby with the utmost hate of another creature's pleasure in spite of a considerable fact over their treated meats: they're often riddled with untoasted vegetables, cheese that's too mellow for a quality frozen dinner, not for me to show off too much when I'm remarking on busted arcade machines which reveal more than plenty of grime. Everything just seems to be shaken up for the worst and any mystery about beauty is tarnished with gross examples of illiteracy as indicated from signs that really can't form the context of meaning to help on dirty values, although such values would be useful to paint out an image for a horror movie instead of turning into the remarkable hints for a dignified restaurant. Understanding, or attempting to learn from failures a lot less until my appetite returns for paying good attention, may not necessarily be lacking for customers who have entered the hot spot for family gatherings and get-togethers with friends because (let's face it) we've been encountered for our survival and so many problems in the restaurant accumulate into its messed-up haven since humanity is burdened with negative problems and interesting situations all on the same history. With love in my heart and a spirited vibe for uncomfortable food, at least those symptoms I've gotten from restaurant visits to this local hot spot put in a desired mood for other food; eating from so many dishes over the years has made me more appreciative of corporations for their contributions to the food industry and I'm satisfied or displeased for taste which continues to be determined with unusual experiments, awkward moments, trying out samples, debating on pleasure, and food for thought. Please me if you must; however, dignity for yourself must be achieved. Don't insult yourself for knowing beauty like a manager here does when we're supposed to examine its contents and verify the quality being used to portray kinds of gifts or disasters on a biased presentation of menus, showy messages, mild sauces, worker etiquette, and effective or bad means. These guys have the cheapest hot wings in Tehachapi. They beat domino's and pizza hut by leaps and bounds. Their ranch is also tasty and great for dipping. If you are a wing person then you should check them out. They also have a nice selection of arcade games which keeps the kids happy while you are waiting and solid happy hour beer prices that will do the same for the adults in your group. read more
