While the pizza is always good at Round Table locations, (I'm not talking about the OC area) the customer service is generally spotty. This location used to have a younger girl named Cassie who was always helpful but kinda has the vibe of "Daria", and that Asian store manager who called himself... Charles was it? These were the only people I could get to make me skinny pizzas, nobody else even bothered although throughout all of Southern California it's easy to find skinny. Unfortunately I moved out of the area and upon visiting family recently (in Tehachapi), I found that both of these employees no longer worked at this location. When you remove the customer service, there's not much other reason to go to this location, as it is overpriced and they don't have any lunch buffets like the OC Round Table franchises. I was over a friend house and we ordered a pizza online. It gave us a time to pick up and it wasn't ready until an hour after that given time. I love round table pizza but this location is disappointing. The pizza doesn't appear to be QA by anyone. One time we were missing pizza sauce and cheese on portions of the pizza. Another time, I asked for extra sauce three different times and never got it. I went up each time and asked for it and they said they would bring it to my table. Never happened. Today we come in and lose $2.00 in games for kids. Another machine is unplugged. So almost half of the games are down. Some of the staff is great and some appear downright lazy. My second time eating here and I am overly thrilled with the restaurant. IT IS NOT FAST FOOD. Go to McDonald's or the likes if you want it right away. Asked where our wings were at. Apperantly they forgot. So had to wait another 10 or so minutes. I called ahead and reserved their party room for our small gathering on a Wednesday afternoon, just so we could have some privacy while celebrating Christmas with our grandchildren before they left for vacation. From the time I called and spoke with Heather until we left, we received the MOST exceptional service. They may or may not have been a little short-staffed, but that did not affect the truly great service we received. We mostly dealt with Heather, but John (or Johnny) also served us. They went out of their way to accommodate us, the restaurant was clean and very comfortable. The games for kids (and adults) were all in working order and made for extra fun. A few of us enjoyed the salad bar, which was well-stocked with several fresh options. We ordered 3 large pizzas-pepperoni, supreme, and cheese. All were perfect- seemed to have fresh ingredients and were not greasy and were baked to perfection. We also enjoyed a large order of the wings, which were delicious. We were given several choices for the sauces and all were very tasty. This was the second time we had been to this restaurant and seriously can't wait to go back again! Worst experience ever! I've probably have been to every pizza place here in Tehachapi We ordered three items A personal plain Cheese pizza, Alfredo Pasta, and Boneless Chicken wings. There was a family of 5 behind us, after they ordered my son returned to order cookies, they told him it would take around 20 mins, the 5 people behind us got their food before we did because they were dinning in and ours was takeout. I asked 3 times how much longer. Finally I was told 4 mins and 37 seconds. 10 mins later I asked again and the cashier asked for name and Said I was being rude to keep asking the Quetion how much longer. I told her it's because you guys told my son 20 mins and it's been over 30. She asked for my name and said that I wasn't allowed not come eat there anymore. I told her she was very sarcastic and rude. She said she didn't care. I asked for a refund and that was taking another 5 mins to get a manager to issue the refund. The manager shows up with 3 cookies and said one fell but we give you the refund for the cookies. I told her that her Co- worker was very disrespectful and should not even be here. She asked for my name and I told her I didn't need to tell her my name , so she asked my son what's your dads name. I told my son don't tell her, she took out her phone and started to record me or take my photo so I also started to video. She became very angry when I refused to give her my name , I told her if she has a problem call 911. She said that's not necessary, I told her yeah because they're show up and laugh at you. All a big joke to them, when I said I'll post a nice review on YELP for you and she said " Good we get complaints on Yelp everyday." I told her yes I believe you with the way you act and speak to the customers is very rude and disrespectful. Her manager then told her she's doing a good job. The food was ok but the service and disrespect allowed by the manager and she says the owner backs them up all the time. She had a list of all the customers that are not allowed back in and wanted to add my name to this very long list. Seems like they are sabotaging the owner or the name Brand. I'd 1000% highly suggest try TK's or any of the others in town, the workers seem to be miserable in life and do not know how to talk or treat its customers. Good luck to the owner for future sales. Great pizza, staff is good not the best but could be improved, I also understand that the round table staff is short staffed and does get overwhelmed with orders, I've had issues with my orders but the mangers and staff always offer to refund or remake orders which is really important for customer service, overall love the place, pizza is pricey but worth the money. We agrred,even though we have no allergies to gluten. When our delivery came it was only the personal pizza. They ran out of small gluten free crust. They said they tried to call 4-5 times to let us know. No M'am,not one call. We called back and they apologized and said they would go up a size at no cgarge,only after I suggested it. Okay, okay... with that said, the reason I'm reviewing is because I was ecstatic to find two staff members here with stellar customer service. Their names are Marcas & Brinley. STELLAR customer service from these two!! They were just superb & really care that we had a positive experience. They were both happy to help. It is a real shame that the service here is so shity it really is good pizza one of the best is town this why I came back to try again but the place is Nearly empty I called three times before going inside trying to be efficient and just go and pay for my pizza pick it up and leave but I waited there for 10 minutes then called the phone again and it rang out loud no one answered it there was only one guy at the front that was taking orders extremely slow I didn't see anyone else and that sucks if he was there all alone but being on my lunch break I couldn't wait any longer so I left and that was the reason that I left the first time but in that instance there was lots of workers at least 7 but we didn't get helped.
