Well I'm back again - my new "go to" place in Tehachapi. Let me just say that Ben was fabulous! A friendly, warm smile that showed how happy he is. He made some great suggestions and followed up to be sure we were happy. That guy is amazing! Today we had my all time favorite- the cheese bread with bacon bits and jalapenos (10/10). Ben suggested some chipotle sauce for dipping and that was a plus. We also were interested in a pizza this time and there was Ben suggesting the BBQ chicken one. You nailed it Ben (10/10)! What a fantastic lunch with my bestie. Thanks Ben and TK's for keeping this girl well fed and happy! See ya again.

I had a really enjoyable experience here and would absolutely come back. We started with the fried pickles, and they were delicious--crispy on the outside, perfectly tangy on the inside, and clearly fried fresh. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. The chicken wings were another standout: cooked perfectly with a great texture and a well-balanced lemon pepper flavor that wasn't overpowering or too salty. This isn't full table service--you order at the counter and then find a seat--but honestly, it worked really well. The food came out super fast, which is always appreciated, especially when dining with kids. Speaking of kids, mine loved their pizza. That alone says a lot, because they rarely ever finish their food, and this time they cleaned their plates. I ordered the chicken fettuccine, which had a nice texture and was cooked well, though the flavor itself was a little on the bland side. That said, the garlic bread that came with it was awesome--warm, buttery, and packed with flavor, making up for what the pasta lacked. The restaurant itself has great décor and felt very neat, clean, and well maintained throughout. The bathrooms could use a bit of restoration, but even there, the beer placards hanging on the walls were a fun and thoughtful touch that added character. Parking was not an issue at all, as the restaurant is located in a shopping complex with plenty of available parking, which made the visit stress-free from start to finish. Overall, great food, fast service, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a well-kept space. A solid spot whether you're dining with kids or just grabbing a casual meal. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Well it's been 13 years since my last visit here, we remembered why we don't like it. We had friends come into town, and they love this place. First, this is not the place to go if you want to have a good conversation and actually hear them talk. It's so LOUD! Second, the food just isn't good in our opinion. People love it. It's Just not our experience. They take your order at the register. They ask for a tip when you sign like most places. They don't refill drinks or check on you after bringing your food. Keep that in mind for the tipping process. The sandwiches were mostly bread, but not in a good way. Dry, flakey, and unappealing. The onion rings were not crispy, just greasy. The pesto chicken sandwich wasn't great either. This is just not our place. We wouldn't return unless friends requested this place. 6/6/25

This pizza and food is always amazing. The staff are super attentive and friendly. They are very helpful with ordering and sometimes give you free samples of the new food items. We stop here every time we come to California from Vegas. Love the cozy friendly atmosphere and you always meet a new friend. Do yourself a favor and stop by you will not regret it well Maybe you will because you will be coming back more frequently. Hats off to Josh and the crew who makes you want to just stop by and grab one of there many craft beer selections

I am a fan. Not too far from home for a day trip. It's all about the crust for me, and they do it right. Quality ingredients and great preparation on the pizza. I'm a picky pizza person, and they haven't let me down. Always warm welcoming service, and a clean and spacious dining room. Make a stop if you are in town and hungry for pizza.

Been loving in Tehachapi two years now, and I've slowly explored the local food options. This is easily my favorite pizza around here. The crust was thicker than I was used to but was crisp on the outside and cooked perfect through. Also tried the sweet potato fries which were crispy and perfect as well. Beer selection was solid. Staff were friendly and helpful, not pushy at all, only helpful. The interior was comfy and set up for a more communal dining experience. Not sure how it'd hold up at busier times, but for an early lunch it was comfy and perfect. Will be back again.

Boneless buffalo wings. This was two from the basket. My kid took the rest lol.

Stopped by after my teams soccer game today. Great service! Very friendly staff. Ordered boneless buffalo wings. Perfection. Garlic cheese bread I hate to eat was a little too salty/buttery/greasy? Chile verde pizza was excellent but a little skimpy on the meat. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and for the hospitality. Lots of tv's for the games. Self serve soda. Great music.

Here on a work trip and wanted some pizza and this place had a great variety on their menu so we decided to try it out. We did order it to go. The spaghetti wasn't bad. The pizza was okay it definitely could use more flavor. I did love the salad and buffalo wings the most.

    Meat lovers pizza

Big fun. Only in town for a night, looked most places up, good and bad reviews but we were looking for a bit of atmosphere. This place delivered on tasty pizza - we got the cauli crust, nice and thin! And selection of micro brews and kombucha on tap, had the best dark beer ever. Service was great, lots of sports on the monitors and some video games in back but what i noticed was how many younger folks with their kids were there, this is a happenin spot which should tell u everything in a small town.

Spending the night in Tehachapi. Asked the front desk clerk where a good place to eat was. She said TK. Mentioned the spicy fried cauliflower. Got there and the whole vibe was great, they also have a terrific collection of craft beers on tap. The spicy cauliflower was .... Not at all greasy, really crunchy batter, good spice simply delicious. I had the pesto garlic pizza, on thin crust. My son in law had the chili verde pizza, also on thin crust. Both were served straight from the oven. Lava hot cheese, which I don't mind. Both incredible. If you find yourself in Tehachapi and you're looking for a good place to eat keep TK Pizza in mind. I'll definitely be back if I'm up here again.

We get there, and asked if we have a reservation...uh oh....it was Valentines Weekend, but they did find a table for us. Then we get a waiter who I believe was the busboy to help out and we are told right off the bat that the tempura cauliflower AND the cordon bleu were sold out. Well, damn... this is not a good start. I took a look at the menu and I saw a portobello mushroom appetizer that sounded interesting so, we started with that. We then got some garlic bread to munch on while waiting for the appetizer and it was really good. The portobello mushroom sliced, fried, and served with marinara sauce. I have found mushroom appetizers usually very underwhelming and I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary here, but this appetizer was delicious. The mushroom was prepared perfectly and paired so damn good with the marinara. I forgot all about the sold out cauliflower! Since the cordon bleu was off the menu, I saw my good ol' standby, eggplant parmesan on the menu. At $25, I thought it was a bit pricey considering it didn't come with pasta, but I thought, what the hell. I'll give it a go. My wife ordered the Beef bourguignon with rice. They bring our plates to the table, and my jaw literally dropped at the size of the portions. HUGE. The eggplant parmesan looked more like a lasagna and it was topped with cheese and marinara. Cutting to the chase, it was delicious, impossible to finish, and the eggplant was tender and breaded just right. That portion of eggplant became 3 more meals for me, and I can eat a lot. Worth every penny of that $25. The beef bourguignon was also delicious and the portion was very large as well. We wished we got it with the pasta instead of the rice, though. The leftovers her meal also provided a couple more meals, and the flavor holds up to reheating. I am going to be coming back to this place to sample more of the menu, because if what we had on our first visit is any indication, I will be getting a great meal no matter what is ordered. The service is a little slow, but everyone was very pleasant and seemed truly happy their food was enjoyed.

The space is quite large, but a bit cramped. We were seated in a a patio-like space towards the back of the restaurant. We ordered the calamari, Mezzelune di Crostacei, and Tortelloni di Brasato. The calamari is highly recommended. It was fresh, lightly fried, and paired well with the sauce. The Mezzelune di Crostecei was amazing. The ravioli was perfectly cooked and the juices from the shrimp and scallop made it a perfect bite. The only disappointment was the Tortelloni di Brasato. The herb cream sauce was delicious and the pasta was perfectly cooked. However, the short rib filling was akin to a beef puree and several of the tortellonis had very little filling. Overall, I had a great experience and looking forward to try other menu items!

Graziella and her brother have created such a special dining experience. My favorite dish has always been the pistachio sauce ravioli. I didn't see it on the menu and mentioned how much I loved it, and Graziella was kind enough to make it for me anyway, explaining that it's now part of their rotating menu. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. I usually never order ravioli as a main course anywhere else, but this dish is absolutely incredible and unlike any ravioli I've had. I was on a double date and convinced my friend to order the same dish because I couldn't stop talking about it. She absolutely loved it and understood immediately why it's my favorite. My fiancé and his cousin both ordered the lamb chops and couldn't stop raving about them. My fiancé substituted the seasonal vegetables for the arugula salad. He normally doesn't eat salad, but he finished the entire thing and said it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The dressing was amazing, and after trying it myself, I completely agreed. My fiancé's cousin, who I consider like a brother, was trying lamb chops for the first time and said he felt like he'd been missing out his whole life. I also ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita from the rotating cocktail menu and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one. The food was outstanding, but the atmosphere deserves recognition too. The patio is beautiful, romantic, and has such a relaxing ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a double date. After being away for a few years, I'm so glad I came back. The food, service, and hospitality were just as wonderful as I remembered. Piccola Trattoria remains one of my favorite restaurants, and I can't wait to return again soon.
