Gotta say, this is some top tier pizza, out of all the pizza I've had in the USA including New Haven pizza in Connecticut.. I'm making this a top 3 pizza. For sure some of the best in California. Pizza had an amazing crunch yet the dough had that pizza bite of dough and sauce ratio. The inside of the pizza joint is a classic pizza spot nothing fancy nothing crappy just right. Came to Two Brothers while on a pit stop in Tehachapi on the way back home from Vegas. Honestly, a really decent pizza spot! The inside is rather small with maybe 3 tables at the most. An array of different pizzas are displayed. They also have daily special deals like 2 slices and a can of soda for $9.99. Our party of 4 ordered a whole bunch! - Pastrami slice: this one definitely caught our eye as it was piled high with pastrami and sliced banana peppers. Super delicious and the crust was crispy and chewy! - Bbq chicken: this one was just OK to me, but still tasty. - Tomato basil: I was sad about the little shreds of basil and hoped there would be more. The tomatoes were juicy though! - Calzone: the tomato/marinara sauce that comes with this monstrosity is SO flavorful. I dipped my crust in it for sure. We also got some basic toppings (pepperoni, olive, etc.) and they were great too! We were accidentally given one with mushrooms, but we got to keep it and still get our originally ordered item. Sweet hehe Service is great for a grab-n-go type of spot! The woman helping us was nice and helpful when we had questions. She even tried to upsell us dessert lol we had to decline we were so full. We have recently moved up to Bear Valley Springs and wanted to try out a pizza place. I ordered takeout and the prices are great for the area. I got a large garlic and pepperoni pizza and medium cheese pizza. I also ordered a spomoni and cheesecake. All of the food was delicious, they even gave me a chocolate cannoli to try for the long wait. I noticed they also have sub sandwiches, calzones and pasta as well. Staff was friendly. The restaurant is small with one table in the middle for 4 chairs and smaller tables around and no bathroom. We had the works pizza, garlic knots and garlic fries, with a kids spaghetti. The marinara sauce was very good as others mentioned, the pizza was delicious as well. Visiting Tehachapi since we have fam in Keene. Of course the kids wanted McDonalds but we wanted anything but fast food. Found this place and chose it because it looked good and it was open until 10pm. Put our order in for the #10 sandwich and the #11. We got the text for pick up in 25 minutes. The directions from the app were confusing at first but found it (next to Albertsons if anyone else gets bad directions on google maps). First...we order the "half sandwiches". They are huge! Bread was toasted and a little overdone but im not complaining because it was still delicious and the extra toastiness kept the bread from getting too soggy. Best Italian I've had in my 6 months working in SoCal. I've tried a couple of "Authentic Italian" in the AV area leaving disappointed. Excellent! Dropped in for lunch on my way back to Bakersfield on Friday and I sure made a good choice trying this place out. The staff is super friendly, greeted me warmly as soon as I entered and took my order. They have a lunch special that gives you 2 slices of pizza and a drink for 9 bucks, try beating that price. The pizza was really good, they heat it in the oven for you and it came out really crispy. The crust had great crunch to it, plenty of toppings, flavorful sauce it was just great all around. They even provided a bottle of ranch to use, that was a surprise and the ranch was great on the crust. Fantastic lunch spot, I know I'll be dropping by next time I'm passing through. read more
