The staff are so friendly, they made a larger place for us to sit because we had a big group. Our waitress got us drinks and a pitcher of root beer right away. We knew we wanted to get pizza but there are so many good looking options on the menu! We ordered the fries and fried green beans with homemade ranch, pepperoni pizza and The Mario's meatza with Alfredo base. All of the food was absolutely delicious and I have no complaints. The staff members are fantastic and we couldn't ask for better service. We are definitely coming back. read more

OK, so tonight was my first visit. Best Pizza of my life. And when I say that, I mean I've had pizza in New York that can't hold a candle. I'll be going back... well probably for life because I can't wait to try their home made pastas! We had the home made Alfredo sauce on our Mario's Meatza pizza as recommended by our server (who was fantastic by the way), the appetizer green beans and fries... oh wow, every bite of our meal was so good! Papa's House in Stallion Springs is one awesome restaurant! Stallion Springs is in the Greater Tehachapi area, but is about 20 minutes away from the main part of the city. My wife and I have been there several times over the years. Well, we've never actually eaten at their charming little restaurant. We always get our food to go. Salads, Sammies, Pasta, and Burgers are all on their menu. I've never tried any of them, though, because I am a fan of their pizzas!!! This Mom & Pop restaurant really makes some awesome pizzas. I've tried several flavors over the years, but I have two favorites which are not posted on their regular menu. You can find my two favorites on their secret menu. Shhh!!!!! Don't tell anyone! Ahhh....it's okay. You can see their secret menu posted on the one of the walls (for everyone to see) when you walk into the restaurant. One of my favorite items is their Kali Pizza. It has a roasted garlic ranch base. It is topped with crispy chicken, bacon, red onion, mozzarella & cheddar blend cheeses, and fresh tomatoes. It is then drizzled with roasted garlic ranch. I think it is 5 star yummyness!!! The other favorite pizza flavor that I have is their Turtle Pizza. It has a bbq base on their hand tossed pizza crust. It is topped with chopped Canadian bacon, chopped pineapple, pepperoni, and crispy chicken. Also tossed in is a spicy honey wing sauce. They drizzle the pizza with the bbq and spicy honey sauce. Tastes 5 stars great in my humble opinion!! They will even make a large pizza with half Kali and half Turtle if you cannot decide which flavor you want. I'm guessing that they will do that with other flavors as well. Papa's House is truly a GEM!! Great service plus Delicious pizza plus reasonable prices will keep us coming back for more. So while on vacation we were referred to papa's house. What a great recommendation. It's a little and I mean little restaurant in town. They have about 7 booths and an outdoor seating area...(little toooo cold for that) super cute small town feel. We were helped by Jennifer. Super cool, she let us know we had about an hour wait. We ordered and went back to our timeshare. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries, and my hubby got a pizza. Food was delicious. Can't wait to try something else while we're here. read more

This is a great little spot if you wanna stop in and order some food to eat there or to grab some steak and bake pizza, great quality, by far the best pizza in Tehachapi there is another good place next to Albertsons, but I will talk about that later. These people are professional and hard-working and making a great pizza! Great food, great service! The Chicken Caprese Sammie was phenomenal! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, with a generous potion of mozeralla and basil. The sandwich was also not drowning in basalmic dressing, which most places tend to do. The bun was also toasted to perfection! Its been a year since we were here. The year has not been good for them. The pizza has cardboard crust, little to no sauce and minimal toppings.
