My wife and I decided to give the new Round Table Pizza in Tehachapi a go. As soon as you walk through the front door you get a good vibe. Their decor, cleanliness and the fact that it had an amazing aroma of fresh pizza baking set the tone for a good experience. They have a great menu, build your own pizza or a variety of specialty pizzas. What stood out at this point was their high prices. I guess in this day, we're all used to seeing the pizza specials you see at Domino's or Papa John's with a two for $20 deal. Not here. A medium (one) specialty pizza cost us $30. Mind you, at this point we did look at each other as if to say "nah let's go", but we didn't. We placed our order and searched for a table. The entire restaurant is furnished with tasteful decor from medieval times. They have an amazing beer/wine tap bar, there with approximately 20 selections. They charge by the ounce. They also have a nice salad bar and a really cool arcade room for those who would enjoy that. The bottom line : the pizza came out quickly and was stacked with lots of fresh hot ingredients. My wife and I looked at each other again after our first bite and couldn't believe how good the pie was. It had a really unique flavor with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. You know that feeling you get sometimes when restaurants that you know they are trying to skimp on ingredients and quality? Well you won't get that here everything about this place including the food was amazing! Although it was well worth the cost in our case some families may find it unaffordable in our economy. I have never written a negative review, but this was an exceptionally bad experience. We ordered two pizzas - one gluten free and one regular pizza. They served the gluten free for my wife, but never served the second pizza. After 45 minutes, I asked a server to check on the pizza. 15 minutes later, we walked to the counter to ask about our pizza and they never cooked the pizza because they said we only paid for one pizza. After researching it, they figured out that we paid for the two pizzas but somehow the order didn't go through properly. Have been here twice with my family of 6. I was surprised at how affordable it was to feed my family especially after reading some FB reviews. The staff were friendly , funny engaging. When they messed up my order the manager personally apologized , discounted our food all with a smile. This is a new business and they still have some bugs to workout but with the level if customer service they provide 10/10 they should be around for a long time read more

Prices are outrageous. Called for 2 medium pizzas. One with 1 topping, the other with 3 and the total came out to $52. The website said create your own medium for $14.95 each. That is absolutely ridiculous. 2 medium pizzas for over $50!! I can't believe that. Will be ordering from hungry howies. Can get the same thing delivered for closer to $30. read more

I'll start by saying that the pizza here is excellent and what I'm accustomed to from this company. I did have a minor hiccup with some missing toppings on a recent takeout order. Management reached out to me and went above and beyond to make it right. That's the quality customer service keeps customers coming back. I gave the round table in Tehachapi a try since I grew up going to round table and I remembered I always loved it. That was until this one opened. I went to this one and I felt like the pizza tasted like cafeteria pizza. It was horrible. The service was slow I ordered one pizza and it took almost an hour to recieve it. The staff is still learning and I can understand that is why the service was slow. But there is nothing that great about it. The beer tap is a cool idea if you know how to pour a proper beer but if you don't you will get charged just for the form. But wow the prices are expensive. I will probably give them another chance down the road once they get the kinks out. read more

This is the WORST Round Table I have ever been to. We have been supporting this business since it first opened but today they served me a raw pizza. Mistakes happen so I called to notify the "manager" and he was the most rude, unprofessional and combative person I have ever encountered in the service industry. He basically said that there's nothing he can do and it's my fault because they set a timer on their pizza so if I like it "well done" I can ask for that next time. I don't want it well done sir, I just want it done. Who wants to eat a soggy, flat, wet, raw pizza? You can clearly see it's raw and extremely thin. I have been eating Round Table Pizza since I was a child and this is not how it's supposed to look. Maybe next time take accountability for your employee's (or oven's) mistake and make it right with the customer. The last thing you should do is blame the customer for your error and fail to offer a solution. Without customers you wouldn't have a job. Now I'm out the cost of the pizza and need to find something else to feed my family for dinner. I will never return to this establishment and I will be reporting this. ATTENTION!! Do NOT come here because if there's something wrong with your order they do not care and will not resolve the issue. This sorry excuse for a Round Table makes the entire franchise look bad. Checked this place out now that it's been awhile since they first opened. Not impressed at all. Used to like this chain growing up, now it's just mediocre. Customer service sure needs some improvement. I had never been there before and have never experienced a self serve beer tap, so naturally I asked how it worked. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the information. Asked if they had a list of their beers, to my surprise they did not and I had to go look for myself. Once I found a table, it needed to be cleaned. I asked for a rag, so I could do it myself, and the girl brought the bucket and rag and started cleaning the seats. When she was done with that she started to walk away and I asked her to wipe the table. So much attitude as she wiped the table and left it soaking wet, like little puddles of water was still on the table. Crazy....I guess I'm just some prissy person asking for way to much...guess I should lower my standards ‍ Definitely not worth the cost, even with inflation..Good luck read more

Our pizza is on the way, family is picking it up. They are having to wait because Round Table forgot to make one of the pizza's. It better be good for how expensive it is. $35 each for a large and $21 for a medium. $90 for two large and one medium. Crazy. Doubt we will go back. Pizza is here, flavor is not. We ordered for carry out for the first time tonight and when we got home one of our pizzas was incorrect. When we called to get it corrected the customer service was horrible. The girl that picked up was rude and claimed we were incorrect about what we ordered. The restaurant was not busy at the time of pick up. Food is extremely overpriced over $60 for a personal cheese and two medium pizzas. We will most definitely not be eating here again. Waste of money. read more

The family came up for my birthday. Lucky for us all dinner here was not for my birthday. So there were six of us and we ordered two large or maybe extra-large pizzas, drinks, and a salad. Yes, the bill was so close to $100.oo not including the tip. First off no utensils for the salad when the first pizza arrived oh 15 minutes later we had to ask if we were getting the salad. She says sure oh by the way what kind was it? So your going to bring a salad but don't know what kind? So we have the first pizza and of course, we ask the other one will be coming shortly. Sure. Sitting waiting we catch her again and ask about the other pizza. 30+ minutes now. It's coming. Still. So I get fed up and go up to the counter and ask for the other pizza. It's on its way. 45 minutes plus we get second pizza. I know they forgot about the second pizza three times. This was my second time there. The first was just my husband and me. Wasn't that bad. I did not have a good experience. I tried using gift cards I received and after 5 - 10 minutes of the employees trying to enter them I was told I couldn't use them because they thought the location was not setup to take gift cards. I was also told they would give me the employee discount because of the inconvenience but I never received that either. The employee's seemed a little lost and I don't think they've gotten proper training so I would put this on bad management. I won't be going back again. read more

We wanted to place where we would get what we know at a Round Table Pizza. Unfortunately the employees were more interested in going home than attending to patrons. It was 50 minutes to closings and they wouldn't be able to offer any water because the dispenser was already cleaned and closed down. This was the same for the beer as well. They said they hadn't had a customer in a hour so they were already cleaning and closing everything down. We were really wanting pizza so we ordered anyway. We went for the large because they had a coupon for $5.00 off. We ordered and as I walked off I heard the employee give my wife a much higher price than it should be. I informed them about the coupon that I showed and stated when we ordered. They said they would fix it. When I returned they were telling my wife they couldn't give a refund and that we didn't mention the coupon. I don't know why they lied to my wife. Finally they said they could refund our order. I can't see this business being successful if the employees are only concerned with going home. It's really a shame because Roundtable pizza is normally a great place. We ended up going to another pizza place with great service and pizza. read more

Pizza was good but wings were over cooked. The restaurant was very clean and the cashiers were very helpful.

I used the online ordering. It said 35 minute wait but I optioned to pickup in a hour. Not only were my pizzas not ready but was told it would be another 5 minutes. 15 minutes later no pizzas. Apparently the expediter on duty just gave my large pizza away. I had enough requested my money back. Also "the manager" doesn't know how to handle upset guests. Nothing but excuses. Including the I'm off the clock. So what was she doing on the floor? Extremely poor customer service. Will never go back. read more

This is the worst costumer service I've received in a long time. My family and I order 2 pizzas and 3 salads. They have a salad bar, so it's a make your own salad. We go to get our salads, and there is hardly any lettuce, at least not enough for 3 people. We go ask the gal in the front and she says she'll get more for us. Couple mins go by and she goes on her break. Not a problem, so we went to go ask someone else. Another worker is at the front so we go ask him if we could get more lettuce. He said he will go tell the person that does the lettuce to go refill it. 15-20 minutes pass by and we get out pizzas. We take our salad plates to the front to get a refund. The worker then tells us the person that does the lettuce is on break. A couple minutes later another customer goes to the front and asks for lettuce. Not even a minute later, the same employee that said he couldn't do lettuce because the person that does it is on break, comes out with more. Horrible costumer service! read more

The pizza is good however it takes way to long to get a pizza, i had to wait 50 minutes just to get a pepperoni pizza.

We were there today at 2 PM. Ordered the gluten free Gourmet Veggie pizza and it was incredible. We have been fans of RT for many years while living in Corona; so happy to have it here now. Will be taking our family there when they come to visit. read more
