Pesto chicken pasta - A woman with long dark hair and tattoos on her chest and arms sits at a restaurant table, holding a glass of light-colored drink, with a plate of food in front of her.

This is the second review I leave on here and unfortunately, it's another bad one. I ordered a simple pesto pasta. Waited 30 minutes for it to come out COLD. I asked them to reheat and it came out WARM. For it to be an almost $30 pasta. I would expect more. But it was terrible. The ambiance is nice but the food and drinks are just not good. :/

A great place that I found on Yelp. Great service with Mark. Head Chef Danielle is perfect. Excellent cocktails and food too! Just stop by and try this place. Casual, classy and comfortable.

Salmon with mashed rustic potatoes. Very good a little salty, and the mangos in the mango salsa were not ripe yet. - A salmon fillet with a crispy skin is served on a black plate, accompanied by asparagus, a diced vegetable side, and a drink with ice on a dark table.

The ambiance of the restaurant and lounge is great. Fun little swanky place to hang out. Food is good a little salty. Drinks are hit or miss.

After a long week of work the Wife and I wanted to try something new for dinner. So we came here and right when we walked in we were greeted immediately. They sat us down at a nice table and gave us water immediately. They also took our drink orders, the Wife got a dirty martini and I got a root beer soda. The appetizer was garlic fries with a creamy Alfredo sauce. I ordered the 202 burger with fries which was wrapped in bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions as well. The Wife got their steak dinner with roasted potatoes with a balsamic vinaigrette sauce. Everything was really delicious and the service was top notch. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with a bar area or a dining area, you choose. We will definitely be coming back to try other menu items. It was hard to choose what to get. Thank you for a wonderful date night dinner.

Buffalo cauliflower - Buffalo cauliflower bites served on a dark plate with mixed greens and chopped herbs, emphasizing a vegetarian appetizer option.

This is honestly my favorite date night restaurant in Tehachapi. I like that the menu is a little different and unique. Love their cocktails and burgers and even their brunch is delicious. Our favorite is the buffalo cauliflower and the pork belly.

This is a wonderful addition to the Tehachapi restaurant scene, very cosmopolitan. Farm to table fresh ingredients, well prepared, interesting entrees. Nice full bar with lots of fun cocktails, local beers and wines. We ordered the ribeye steak, which was excellent and served with sides of spicy salt and pepper, mango salsa and crumbled blue cheese as well as potatoes and roasted carrots. Also the mango chicken sandwich with a salad and their amazing chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful and proud of the quality of their food and presentation, as they should be! We'll be back for sure!

I mean honestly stay rogue. - A blue neon sign with the words 'Stay Feral' is mounted on a wall decorated with tropical leaves and plants.

Mango House and Lounge is a hidden gem where you can feel the love and energy put into every detail. The space has a full bar, wall-sized TVs for game day, and a cozy lounge or restaurant side to relax in. We tried the ceviche, cheese fries, burgers, Caesar salad, and chicken pesto pasta - all delicious and made with fresh, locally-sourced organic ingredients, including avocado oil. The only thing that could improve this spot? A bigger crowd to add to the vibe - so bring your friends! Our bill, including drinks, appetizers, and entrees, came to about $150. Highly recommend!

I really like how clean it is and how organized and just nice the place is. Irving was great took care of us served us our sodas and helped us when we needed the bumpers. So the guy comes up all nice and says he'll switch us to the lane next to us and add our lost time when the other people are done. So we spent 15 minutes waiting before we got switched over, which keep in mind is already half of our game time, and finally got switched over, but when we did, it was like we were playing the whole time because it had only 13 minutes left. At first thought, I figured he would just start another 15 min game once the first ended and we'd go from there, but then our game ended and I went to go ask if he would start another round for us, and he said he already added more time. So I go back to sit down and expect another round to start, when I notice a party of like 10 come in and we waited for him to settle them down, thinking he would notice us waiting and be like "Oh maybe I'll start their round," but no, he puts that party in OUR lane and so I go up to ask the lady since he was busy on the phone, "Could you help us add more time?" I explained the situation to her and she said, "Lemme see what I can do." So me and my gf are sitting at the bar waiting and then he comes up to us very passive aggressively, INSISTING he added more time, and didn't even let me try explaining the situation to him. Word for word he said, "I 1000% added more time." Never going back again if that's how he's gonna act, Bowlero can have my money instead.

It is all made to perfection and there is not one thing we don't love. For about $32 dollars you can get Havana Bites, it is a taste of some of their great items. It comes with Beef & Chicken Empanadas, Papas Rellenas, Platanos Fritos and Yuca Frita all served with Rico Sauce, which is so great. All of their empanadas are great and you can get just one or a bunch. We often get some to take home. The Papas Rellenas is so good and so nicely priced. It is two mashed potato balls stuffed with Cuban picadillo, then breaded and fried to perfection. I love potatoes so I love to get this. We also take these home. They heat up so well. The service is great and they are very friendly. Parking is easy and there is not usually a wait. I am not sure if they take reservations, so call them and check. I ordered the Mar Y Tierra which is Rabo Encendido and shrimp served with rice, black beans, and plantains. The Rabo Encendido was actually quite spicy with a pronounced chile kick. (I am used to the dish being more on the savory side rather than spicy.) This was definitely a "tail on fire" experience. The oxtails were tender and plentiful in regard to portion size. There was a good mix of oxtail sizes. As the portion size was generous, there was plenty enough for three meals. Shrimp had a crisp, snappy texture which came with careful preparation in an alkaline solution. This was a good shrimp enhancement. There was an ample portion of shrimp in the dish as well. The black beans had a good flavor but the accompanying steamed white rice could have used a bit of seasoning to overcome the inherent blandness. Plantains were ripe and cooked tender with a caramelization on the edges. Mar Y Tierra was pricey at $49 but the generous portion size of the meal made it a good value. The restaurant itself was comfortable and understated in its decor. The outside patio is larger than the interior dining area. It was nice to dine outdoors in the patio. Service was good with friendly staff. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Parking is plentiful in the lot.
