The indoor space was perfect for our event, and the kitchen easily accommodated our professional catering team. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us when we arrived. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with Teena or the venue itself. My only concern was the surrounding area. While unloading decorations, we were approached by a homeless individual who was shouting nearby, which was a little unsettling. Parking was also somewhat limited, and I found myself worrying about our guests. Having worked in Northridge about 10 years ago, I remember it feeling much different than it does today. That said, this isn't a reflection on Teena or Athena Event Studio. She was an outstanding host, and the venue exceeded my expectations. They had a 10 member band belting out Earth Wind and Fire tunes. The dance floor was gathering a lot of moisture from the humidity so they kept mopping it between sets.
