    What an amazing hidden gem in Reseda! We love 40 palms the moment we did our first site visit of the venue. We want to have an outdoor romantic Wedding and that is close to home. It has a beautiful backyard with Koi pond and has that Romantic serene ambiance. Joe is the property manager, he is always open to quick communication answering any questions we had, very helpful and has a positive vibes. We had our wedding on April 10, 2021 and it was a success beautiful dream come true wedding. Everyone keep talking how beautiful the venue is I definitely recommend this place to all my friend and family. A couple of tips - - Limited parking space - In the beginning we didn't want to hire a valet because we can park about 16 cars in the back. I know that some people cannot park their cars and I don't want my guests to stress out, I decided to hire a valet. It was the best decision, I was able to use the drive way with palm trees for pics and not worrying about cars in the background. - We reserved the place from 12 PM to 11 PM. Since its in residential area, No music after 9:30 PM all guests must be out by 10 PM and we have one hour to pack up and leave by 11 pm. I would suggest an earlier ceremony like around 4 PM so all the guests can have more dancing time .

    My mother-in-law searched online for a location to hold a memorial for someone who had passed away; She came across 40 palms on yelp that was highly rated and best of all, not absurdly priced. She went and checked it out and met Joe at the location who gave her a tour of the property. She booked it and the Service was held on a Saturday with approximately 50 people and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The property is tucked away in the neighbourhood in Reseda and if you didn't see it on Yelp I think it would be difficult to know it was there; I could see how it would be ideal for more of a smaller venue situation; birthdays, weddings, reunions or memorial services. The Main area of the house where most people would congregate is relatively small, the kitchen area is huge and definitely can accommodate a lot of food and drinks etc. The outside I think I would describe as quaint and collective; beautiful Koi Pond, trinkets, lot of lighting - the ambience at night must be sensational; our memorial service was held during the day. 'Pictures speak a 1000 words' - WOW, this property can definitely be transformed for your special occasion. I'd check it it out if you are looking for something out of the 'ordinary '- Joe was a perfect host; he was there when we arrived and when we left. He also assisted with the electronics when we wanted to show a slide show on the TV. * I would call the number as apposed to e mailing as I e mailed and never got a response. No big deal, thought I would mention. It

    I asked and they delivered !! I wouldn't have wanted my wedding day to be in another Venue. My hubby googled outdoor venues and we came across 40 palms. The driveway was so beautiful! Joe and Catherine were so helpful. I will highly recommend this place for my future events.BODAFLORES2021

    I just celebrated my 50th birthday and I can't imagine having celebrated anywhere else. This place is gorgeous!! My Dia De Los Muertos themed party was a huge success. Everyone was in love with the place and kept asking "how did you find this place ?" ...40 palms is truly a hidden gem in Reseda. I will recommend this place a hundred times over!! Joe and the staff were incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly with parking , set up crew and guest services!! So grateful everyone was so amazing!! I will definitely use this venue again!!

    We just had our (Star Wars) themed Wedding at the 40 Palms on 5-4-19. I, wanted an Elegant outdoor wedding and I was able to achieve that here. Joe, was our point of contact and he was always easy to reach & willing to answer any and all questions.

    What can we say about 40 Palms? It was PERFECT!! To say the property is beautiful is an understatement. It's AMAZING! Joe was fantastic in hosting our wedding. He was able to answer all of our questions & address all of our needs with no problem. He made the process so easy and always made himself available to us - whether via email, text, or in person visit. We definitely recommend 40 Palms for your event.

The venue is amazingly beautiful and the owner Kathryn was friendly and attentive to mine and my team needs. My guest rave about the Koi fish pond and the breathtaking beauty of 40 Palms.     This place is gorgeous! My friend celebrated his 23rd birthday here and then I celebrated my mom's 50th birthday. Everyone was in love with the place and Joe is super nice and helpful. At night this place looks beautiful and the bar area is spacious and just perfect. Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion.

    I cannot put into words how blessed I feel to have found Joe and his beautiful home. I had my wedding here on Saturday and it was perfect for my 75 guests. His backyard garden and koi pond felt heavenly for our intimate ceremony. And his front yard space with twinkle lights at night was gorgeous for our dinner. We had our DJ and bartender in the living room, a photo booth in the gazebo, and there was still plenty of space to do more. We did not have to do much decorating because the house was already magnificent. We parked 13-14 cars in the back for my family, and vendor trucks were still able to fit. Joe, the owner, was such a great host. He stayed on site and hired security to make sure everything went smoothly. He communicated well, was very accommodating and courteous, and made me feel very special and comfortable. I highly recommend this space for any type of event and any time of the year!

    We held our wedding reception at 40 Palms for about sixty-five guests. When we came across 40 Palms after weeks of searching for a venue, we knew almost instantly that this location was going to be the perfect match for us. The venue has a wonderful layout, contains great amenities, allows for ample personalization/customization, and is affordable. All of our guests were surprised by the allure of the space. When you are at the venue, it doesn't feel like you are in some neighborhood in the Valley. The venue is off the street by a long driveway that leads to a large front area. The main room of the house is spacious. And the koi pond is connected to the back yard by a bridge. 40 Palms is set up with a sound system and night lighting, which is just one less thing you have to worry about for your event planning. Joe, the property manager, was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. We were able to tour and visit the venue 3 times before the date to help plan with our coordinator. Joe has a lot of experience and knows how to plan for these large events. We knew we were in good hands and did not have to worry about our wedding. The only thing to note is that the rental hours are enforced very strictly. But Joe is good about allowing for the coordination of additional times for drop-off and pick-up of rental equipment. I'd recommend 40 Palms to anyone who is taking a more DIY approach to their wedding.

    Class and perfection!!! I am so thankful to find this hidden gem in the middle of the valley. I'm grateful for Joe May our host, he was kind and professional and allowed a nervous bride to text and call whenever I had a question or concern. I couldn't be happier with my wedding and I'm so glad to find this place. Truly a piece of heaven, from the layout to the night lights. This place sets the tone for romance and everyone felt the love!!

    The venue is nice. There is parking for 12-15 cars on the premise and the street parking is not good. The backyard has nice uphill.

The size of the venue is perfect for intimate parties with a group of 50-60. There was space for buffet table, bar for the drinks, Sushi bar, Photo Booth and DJ booth and a decent dance floor size was setup and it didn't feel like crowded at all. The balloons, table setting, decors etc was also done by great event (separate fee applies on top of the venue rental). I highly recommend this event place if you are planning on your next initimate party! You will love the place, and if you decide to also hire them for organizing and decorating the venue you will surely love it. The owners are very proffesional and really nice. There's also a lot of parking spaces as well as on the side street - from my own personal experience, we didn't have a hard time finding a parking spot and the part was on a Saturday night.
