Me and my gf came to play a half hour round and got the 2nd lane, which a couple minutes into our game already had a service issue. So the guy comes up all nice and says he'll switch us to the lane next to us and add our lost time when the other people are done. So we spent 15 minutes waiting before we got switched over, which keep in mind is already half of our game time, and finally got switched over, but when we did, it was like we were playing the whole time because it had only 13 minutes left. At first thought, I figured he would just start another 15 min game once the first ended and we'd go from there, but then our game ended and I went to go ask if he would start another round for us, and he said he already added more time. So I go back to sit down and expect another round to start, when I notice a party of like 10 come in and we waited for him to settle them down, thinking he would notice us waiting and be like "Oh maybe I'll start their round," but no, he puts that party in OUR lane and so I go up to ask the lady since he was busy on the phone, "Could you help us add more time?" I explained the situation to her and she said, "Lemme see what I can do." So me and my gf are sitting at the bar waiting and then he comes up to us very passive aggressively, INSISTING he added more time, and didn't even let me try explaining the situation to him. Word for word he said, "I 1000% added more time." Never going back again if that's how he's gonna act, Bowlero can have my money instead. read more

Good beer, very innovative way to incorporate food into a restaurant as well. Well, this review is to discuss an encounter I had a while ago. I took my family out to have some snacks and bowl. Well, our night was ending so I went to pay and a person was entrenched by the register. I gave a wide berth and walked up to pay. This "customer" was extremely displeased with me going to the register to pay my bill and would not leave us alone. In short, the encounter got so tense so quickly that I told my family to go to the car. If something happened I didn't want my daughter to see anything traumatic beyond that, the customer was fixated on me and this allowed them to escape without any of us being followed while I waited to pay my bill. Anyway, the reason this review is 5 stars has to do with the staff. I can't remember her name but an older lady stepped in had the customer removed and was very kind. I came back again a few months later to meet some friends and saw that the scenario that led to my situation was rectified and the same lady that helped me was on duty. This is such a cool spot! Ambiance is very vibey and hipster. My husband and I stopped by for a quick drink and to check out the spot. Next time we will actually go bowling. INFESTED with COCKROACHES! DO NOT go to this business Honestly I don't even know where to start. This business should be shut down! There's alive and dead cockroaches and bugs everywhere, the bowling lanes are dirty, dry and never work correctly. The bowling shoes are old dirty and ripped. Restrooms are absolutely disgusting. The whole business smells like dirty sewer water. The beer and alcohol selection is horrible, they have a whole beer menu but only have a few in stock and the ones I tasted are absolutely awful. Liquor menu options are also horrible. Owners are extremely rude and disrespectful. This is the epitome of a horribly ran business and should be shut down immediately. Fun environment, nice to have something like this locally but based on my experience there, it's my opinion that this business seems a long way off from being able to provide the sort of service and experience that we expected. We ordered a couple pizzas and nachos at their counter, after nearly an hour and a half, I asked the staff what happened and I was surprised as between the two folks behind the counter couldn't wait to tell me that they have nothing to do with the food or wait, which comes from upstairs. I understand but that wasn't made clear prior to my order. The bowling lanes need work, in the short time we were there, our lane kept breaking down, and we found ourselves waiting for them to reset / repair. In the end, we had a good time despite all of this but it could have easily been a bunch better. read more

First time here with my nieces and nephews. Showed up right when they opened. The bowling of course is fun and easy clean lanes. I really like how clean it is and how organized and just nice the place is. Irving was great took care of us served us our sodas and helped us when we needed the bumpers. Overall great experience and costumer service. The only advice I have for the owners is probably to purchase a hotel grade diffuser to make the place smell good. A lot of establishments smell a bit with sewage pipe issues and this had a bit of a smell. Other than this great place to take the family read more

Ambiance is cool. Underground theme and raw view of pinsetters was a highlight. Confirmed zero oil on the lanes. I came here to kill some time and throw a few games between work appointments. Anyone who is trying to bowl any bit seriously here should reconsider. Not fun lane conditions to practice on. Pinsetters periodically take forever to set pins. Neat to watch them work, not so neat to watch them not working. Definitely has a foul odor as well. Does smell like dirty mop water or a dry pee trap in the restroom. Ironically the restrooms did not smell as bad as the bowling alley. Probably a fun place to come and be social. Bowling was pretty lackluster to frustrating. read more

Showed up for "Cosmic Bowling" on a Friday night. Their version of cosmic bowling was a few scattered neon lights and black light bowling pins. Definitely not like Brunswick in the 2000's. The music was only coming from two giant speakers by the entrance and it was a random mix of songs. To top it off, it was so hot down there. Our whole group was sweating and uncomfortable. Good news is that it does have good vibes, but the lanes are awful. I don't know if they've ever been oiled. This place has a shot at being a neat hang out space with lots of different events each night, but since your selling point is BOWLING please fix the bowling part!!! Update: owner commented that the lanes are oiled daily with a 20k machine -- You're not earning your return on that machine if people are choosing to go to Bowlero for better lanes LOL every other alley I've ever been to has better lanes girly - ask them for tips!! read more

Went with my lil one on a Sunday night. We had a good time and I like that they have a nice beer & cocktail menu. I tried the coffee stout which was dark & strong, just how I like 'em. Didn't try any food this time around, but I will go back. They get a 3 due to the lack of service. No one seemed thrilled to be working there and wasn't the most pleasant or helpful. I'll be going back as it's not the biggest & busiest, which I like, and it was clean. However it was pretty stuffy, needs some better ventilation. Worst experience ever! I took my children and nephews on a family date. I paid for two hours of bowling and went to order my second beer and got "cut off" again it was going to be my second beer and the man at the front said I was intoxicated and was cut off. Quote inaccurate time, let patrons pay for drinks and food and then add more time to their wait... came here once before, had an awesome time , but this second time, not so much...Look, I get it. Its Saturday night, they are busy and we thought since we came last time on a Saturday and got a lane right away, it would be the same, but our fault, can't strike gold twice. We got here between 445-5pm and we're quoted 45 mins, no problem, that's not bad at all. We bought beers, played pool, food, bought more beers. After an hour I went to check on our time, guy could not give me a time. Said, "we have a huge party that is taking up the lanes so honestly; no idea when you will get a lane, it's guna be awhile". Okay,but what happened to 45 mins? I get that it's not accurate , but come on, now you don't know anything?! Why quote us 45 mins in the first place.. so annoying, but it's okay, we spent enough money waiting so they don't care. After 2 hours we finally got a lane, but only because we asked for an update.. Oh! And are you ready to close out your lane? Don't bother with where you checked in, go to the one register available and pray there isn't a line of people or you'll be waiting another 30 minutes just to leave. So much fun. read more

Nice spot but when you walk in has a bad sewage smell & they have a lot of beer taps easily over 20 for their own beer but was disappointed that they didn't have any beer on draft just out of cans. I did ask for beer on draft & the young lady working Thursday evening said they only had cans. Food is just not good, cold, limited choices, poor quality, just not great. Hope there is improvement on the food side. They are using Don Sals kitchen but you. Ant get Don Sals food. I would come more often if the food was decent. Service is also lacking. Slow, not attentive and they don't know their menu. Plastic silverware, styrofoam plates. The bowling alley was an interesting experience due to an overpowering odour, maintenance issues, and underwhelming food options. The stale air made the atmosphere unappealing. The pin system malfunctioned, causing delays and confusion. The limited food options left much to be desired, and the management should invest in addressing these problems. Overall the experience was weird, our money was wasted due to the maintenance issues. The worst part is, I don't know how to bowl. read more

This place was so coolio. I went with my cousins because they get bored easily and never want to do mundane activities. When you get inside, before even walking down the stairs, you get this stench. Wear some socks and put on deodorant, you animals! If you can bear the smell, then you could have a nice time. We didn't get any food, which there was barely any options for. Most of the meals in the 15-20 dollar range. There's a ton of alcohol choices for all you boozers out there. We weren't there for a ton of time, but it was pretty fun. If you have a kid or you're absolute trash at bowling (such as myself), ask the employees if you can have guards from the gutters, unless you're too prideful (like myself). My younger cousin and I should have gotten it because even after searching it up on YouTube, we couldn't figure out how to bowl properly. You can also ask for assistance if there's anything wrong with your alley. They're quite nice about it. Our own game was disrupted because some of the pins got stuck, and it took about 10 minutes to fix with the timer still running. They gave them back to us, though, so we didn't lose anything. We never did the shuffle boarding, but it's dusty af. I'm assuming it's supposed to be though. read more

I have never felt the need to use Yelp to leave a review until today and even debated posting at all until I saw a review left yesterday about the same thing. I've been to LCB on the Blvd a few times and always had an okay experience until recently. On Monday, while enjoying a night out with family, I witnessed the owner and her husband come into the bar with what looked like a beer delivery. All seemed normal and I was actually excited to try out the new beer on tap 'Citydank'. That is until I saw the owners husband having a major freak out behind the bar. (I've met both the Katie and Tyson multiple times so I know it was definitely them). I don't know what was going on but I do know the employees on staff seemed really on edge while this was happening. My family and I feel awful for them because while the bar was extremely busy, they were trying their best and keeping a really good attitude with customers while their boss was in the background screaming profanities about his employees and slamming doors and equipment around. No one was doing anything to diffuse the situation and it was extremely uncomfortable to be in the bar with someone acting that way. ESPECIALLY THE OWNERS My family and I will not be returning as we feel it is absolutely not in any way acceptable to run a business this way and treat employees with anything other than the upmost respect and we suggest you do the same. read more

I'm so disappointed in this place. I had a Groupon for two that I purchased back in July/August. At that time, the only restriction to use the voucher was to redeem it before 9pm. I planned an entire date night around this and booked a hotel room nearby for a Friday night. I had been looking forward to this all week and had driven in from out of town. I showed up at 5pm today (Friday) and presented my Groupon. I was met with immediate hostility. I was told that it wasn't valid because they don't honor it on Friday and Saturday. One male employee even stated that it's always been that way. The current deals that they offer state that they can't be redeemed Friday or Saturday. No where on my voucher or fine print did it state that it could not be used on Friday or Saturday. I was turned away and the only solution offered to me was to contact Groupon for a refund. Instead of enjoying a fun, relaxing, long awaited night out, I'm now stuck having to contact Groupon to try to get my money back. Thankfully, there are other options near this place and the night isn't a complete loss, but I will be telling all of my friends and family that live near this establishment to avoid it at all costs. read more
