Dinner salad with mango vinaigrette. Delicious.
    Britt C.

This was the first time eating here since the name change from Prohibition to Mango Haus. I was able to meet my friends and fellow Yelpers, Patrick and Bett. It wasn't busy when I arrived, just 3 other tables of people. They were short-staffed with only one cook, so it took awhile to get our food. We weren't in a hurry; it gave us time to visit. We all ordered smash burgers, and you had the choice of regular fries, sweet potato fries, or a salad. We each picked one so we could share. The food was delicious. I will definitely return and try something else on the menu. 11/26/25

The overall feel and first impression is great! This place is clean and has an upscale appearance. Great vibe, good temperature, decor is on point! Service is calm and even paced. Great selection and very accommodating for allergies. The tea has great flavor, very fresh. The Aperol Spritzer I got is well balanced and very good! Chicken sandwich made allergy friendly and on a gluten free bun. Was good. Will definitely order again. The Poblano Burger was great! A perfe t combination of spice and flavor. The triple chocolate musse cake. Wowza! Not too much, just right! I had such a great experience I want to come back for dinner and eat more!

    Aguachiles with mango

First Timer: Everything is made from scratch using fresh & locally sourced ingredients. I ordered aguachiles, which included mango, jumbo shrimp, red onion, cucumber, tortilla chips, & spicy deliciously salsa. The food was delicious & the staff were incredibly friendly. The owner went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. The customer service was phenomenal from start to finish! We will definitely be coming back!

A great place that I found on Yelp. Great service with Mark. Head Chef Danielle is perfect. Excellent cocktails and food too! Just stop by and try this place. Casual, classy and comfortable.

Salmon with mashed rustic potatoes. Very good a little salty, and the mangos in the mango salsa were not ripe yet.

The ambiance of the restaurant and lounge is great. Fun little swanky place to hang out. Food is good a little salty. Drinks are hit or miss.

This is the second review I leave on here and unfortunately, it's another bad one. I ordered a simple pesto pasta. Waited 30 minutes for it to come out COLD. I asked them to reheat and it came out WARM. For it to be an almost $30 pasta. I would expect more. But it was terrible. The ambiance is nice but the food and drinks are just not good. :/

After a long week of work the Wife and I wanted to try something new for dinner. So we came here and right when we walked in we were greeted immediately. They sat us down at a nice table and gave us water immediately. They also took our drink orders, the Wife got a dirty martini and I got a root beer soda. The appetizer was garlic fries with a creamy Alfredo sauce. I ordered the 202 burger with fries which was wrapped in bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions as well. The Wife got their steak dinner with roasted potatoes with a balsamic vinaigrette sauce. Everything was really delicious and the service was top notch. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with a bar area or a dining area, you choose. We will definitely be coming back to try other menu items. It was hard to choose what to get. Thank you for a wonderful date night dinner.

This is honestly my favorite date night restaurant in Tehachapi. I like that the menu is a little different and unique. Love their cocktails and burgers and even their brunch is delicious. Our favorite is the buffalo cauliflower and the pork belly.

This is a wonderful addition to the Tehachapi restaurant scene, very cosmopolitan. Farm to table fresh ingredients, well prepared, interesting entrees. Nice full bar with lots of fun cocktails, local beers and wines. We ordered the ribeye steak, which was excellent and served with sides of spicy salt and pepper, mango salsa and crumbled blue cheese as well as potatoes and roasted carrots. Also the mango chicken sandwich with a salad and their amazing chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful and proud of the quality of their food and presentation, as they should be! We'll be back for sure!

    I mean honestly stay rogue.

Our most recent server was Lisa and she was wonderful! The food was incredible (try the Baracoa Cubano with an Iron Beer or one of the excellent coffees)! The outdoor patio is great ambience, and they even have live music nights. Do yourself a huge favor and go eat some delicious Cuban food!

Baracoa Cuban Restaurant was an amazing discovery when we stopped for a lunch pitstop on our drive…read moreup towards Tehachapi. I can easily see them being a favorite in the Palmdale area. There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

This is quite literally the only local place that sells properly humidified cigars. They have a reasonable selection of infused and traditional cigar face brands to choose from. Additionally, as an added bonus, they even offer their own line of house cigars sourced from Nicaragua to choose from without any of the brand markups. The interior is small but clean and nicely decorated with leather and wood accents. The real sell of this place is the ambiance - a nice, comfortable, relaxing place to enjoy a cigar while chatting with other cigar smokers or watching a movie/game. There's a a pleasant timeless feeling inside. I live in an apartment so finding a spot to leisurely smoke that isn't going to violate my lease or my neighbors comfort is nothing to balk at. Lastly, this is a place for all cigar smokers, new and old. With amiable and highly knowledgeable certified tobacconists on hand, recommendations and suggestions for your first or next smoke are readily available. You do not require a membership to come in and enjoy a smoke but there are incentives to do so. I will definitely be returning to this sanctuary.
