I came here for a no chip pedicure. Pros: They we're nice enough and walking out of the salon my pedicure looked really good. The lady who did my pedicure was sweet. This place is close to my house- a very short walk, so it's a convenient location. Cons: My No-Chip pedicure chipped after a week. After a week and a half, it chipped in two different places, one of which being my big toe. So now I have to go get another pedicure because it looks awful. I waited for 45 min to even be seen or acknowledged by anyone. This is absolutely understandable if you are a walk-in and it's busy but they let you in anyway. Nope. I had made an appointment in advance. I arrived on time, at 7pm. It was after 7:45pm before i was even put in a chair. This is unacceptable for an appointment. Wasn't a terrible experience, but for time reasons and the pedicure only lasting a week, I'd probably not go back. read more

Definitely do NOT recommend going here. This was the worst mani/pedi experience of my life. My friend and I decided to have a girls dad and made reservations. The salon was extremely busy, every chair was taken, and they kept taking walk-ins, which is most likely the reason they were rushing so much. I also did not see them open the instruments in front of me, and seemed offended when I asked for new instruments. The lady who gave me a no chip manicure and pedi rushed through the entire process, skipping over quite a few steps. She was rude, rough and did not listen when I told her I did not like the color of my no chip or that she was physically hurting me with the nail tools. She was also extremely pushy and insistent on me getting a no chip manicure, even though I initially asked for a regular. After 5 minutes of continuous insistence, I relented to getting the no chip, hopeful it would last as long as the lady said it would. Honestly, it was so chaotic in there, and I just wanted to get out of there. Luckily, I was done in 30 minutes. But seriously, it only took 30 minutes for the same person to give me a "spa pedicure," which cost $5 more, and included 2 seconds of a scrub, and a "no chip" pedicure, for a total of $70. The "no chip" manicure started chipping within 3 days. Definitely not worth it. Would not recommend and will never return. read more

The manicurist flooded my cuticles and seemed to be rushing because he didn't spend much time prepping and did not leave my hands under the lamp for long enough. I cannot say enough positive things about this salon - from their color selection, quality of their work, their friendliness, professionalism, flexibility, cleanliness and everything in between. The staff is so accommodating and really cares about the work they do and want to ensure the happiness of their customers. The work they do is top notch and I have never received anything other than an amazing manicure and/or pedicure. Save for Covid, I have been getting my nails done here since April of 2017 and have no plans of leaving. The salon opens early and stays open late to ensure all of their customers can get appointments.Their color selection is absolutely insane - I have never been to a salon that has more color and/or brand options. The salon is always extremely clean and all of the technicians wear masks throughout the services. If available, you can get a manicure and pedicure at the same time, cutting down on the time you spend in the salon and enhancing their efficiency. Dina is an absolute gift. I have been going to her exclusively for approximately 1 year and she is absolutely incredible. I was hesitant to name her in this review as I want to make sure I can still get an appointment with her. Her work is pristine and unmatched by any other salon I have been to. I've been going to Old Town Nails for 10 years. I usually have Chau do my nails. She is the best and my nails always look great. Over the years I have had some of the other girls do my nails and they do a great job also. And their prices are very competitive. I moved 2 hours away to Bloomington IL 2 years ago. I tried several nail salons down there but none of them used the right DIP product and never did a good job. So I drive 2 hrs back to Chau for her to continue doing my nails because she is that good. ATHLETES FOOT from Pedicure Tub!!!! I have never in my life had athletes foot and I got it from Old Town Nails after getting a pedicure. My friend has been going here for a while because the finished product is good and lasts a while. We went together for a mani/pedi last week and she got Athletes Foot the same day I did from their unsanitary tub!! They essentially use a garbage bag to line the pedi tub and we didn't see them change it between clients. Not only that, there was a heinous smell of sewer or garbage in the air during our pedicure service and I was hoping it was coming from the alley but now I can only assume it was the drain in the pedicure bowl!! I couldn't be more disgusted by this place! I never ever review on Yelp but I want to save people from going here and having to deal with this gross situation! I've also been here periodically through the years (don't get my nails done regularly) and can say that Old Town Nails offers the longest lasting no chip manicures around! Great pedicures as well. Tried this nail salon for the first time yesterday. I went in a Thursday around 4:30PM and was seated immediately without an appointment. I got a no chip mani and was amazed by their selection of gel colors! You could get a new color every day of the year (very overwhelming). The lady that did my nails was sweet and thorough. She was also patient while I indecisively picked a color, she even helped me shuffle their the samples to find the color I was looking for. She did a great job removing my previous gel polish off which turned out to be a huge task since the previous salon out multiple layers on. My no chip manicure was $35. I went for a no-chip manicure a couple weeks ago and was impressed with the customer service. The owner did my nails and she did a fabulous job. The COVID measures they took (temperature check, mask wearing) in addition to fundamental cleanliness (using new files and buffers) made me feel safe and at ease. If your nail chips within a week, they will fix it for you no question, but mine did not chip! The color selection is wonderful, and the salon stays up on the latest trends in nails. I usually go to Zero 2 nails on division. They didn't have chrome powder so I tried old town nails. I got them done 3 days ago and 2 nails are already broken. They also didn't rub in the chrome and it looks like glitter on my nails. Disappointed and will never leave Zero 2 again. Go there instead. read more

spontaneous pedicure done with my friend was a success! we called 10 minutes before going and they accepted us as soon as we arrived. $27 for regular pedi which is normal but the service was great. we were seated immediately and so we put our bags down and plopped right onto the massage chairs. the ladies were great and clean, i love my nails ! it was definitely a great touch after walking around on my feet all day. i unfortunately didn't wait as long as i thought i did and so the last two pinky nails didn't make it the way home, but no big deal, just make sure you bring flip flops since my sandals weren't open-toed enough ahaha. read more

Went here once and had a great experience so I went back for a second time.... I say their Sunday hours closed at 6, so I made sure to get there with plenty of time. Around 5:30, I could tell my nail technician started to speed through the process. She quickly finished painting my nails and moved me over to the drying station. At 5:45, someone else came over and told me I was done and I had to leave. I expressed concerns that my nails were not dry, but they were ignored. When my nails smudged (of course) when I put my jacket on, the two women tried to fix it on the spot, but then told me to come back tomorrow instead of taking the time to fix it. All before 6pm. I will be going back to get my (multiple) chipped nails fixed but will not be returning after that. Absolutely terrible customer service. read more
