I got my nails done in Vega's and now I back home searching for a new shop that was open and took walk ins. Between a Google search and driving around, and reviews, I chose Ella Nails. Isabel was the person who created me and she sat in the first chair near he door. In my head, 1st chair implies , "head" person or owner but I just need a good job no BS! I asked for a fill on the nails and polish cha he on my toes. Isabel did my nails and Henry did my toes. Isabel is fun and funny. She makes you welcome. Henry was nice too. He more like the sidekick. I was 100% satisfied i only go to a shop every 3 weeks due to my travel schedule and when I am flying, As a Flight Attendant and a Real Estate Broker, my schedule stays packed. I need my nails looking great. I carry my own cuticle oil and that's all I need until the next time I pop in . The only thing missing was music. If you more details, let me know. read more

Attached is the nails I asked for and the nails I received! Hellen (Helen) did my nails and she was very careful and meticulous! She did an amazing job and I could see the care she has doing them! Loved the nails! Only complaint is that it wasn't the cleanest/nicest, but nothing to detour me from another establishment. read more

I scheduled an appointment for Hard Gel and a pedicure, and I left beyond satisfied with my experience! I struggle to find a nail salon that meets my standards, as I'm quite particular with how I like my nails. There's a great color selection to pick from, and Isabella really made it a fun and welcoming experience for me. She is so fun and nice to talk to, I will definitely be making the drive again to see her :) read more

I took my daughter for her birthday to get our nails done and was very pleased with the service. My technician was May. She did a French manicure on my finger nails and was very precise. Even when filing my nails, she would stop to check that I was pleased with her work. My only complain about the salon is that it seemed a little dirty and rundown. Otherwise, the service was excellent! read more

All of the ladies here are extremely sweet and accommodating. Ly (Ella) is an outstanding technician and mother working hard to run her business every single day. I've brought some crazy designs that she was always able to execute. I love this little shop and have been a customer for two years. My dips also last chip free for a month! read more

First thing they happily served me as a walk-in which is hard to come by . Sally did my no chip mani to perfection. She was gentle with the gel removal and she was attentive to each nail in pushing cutes back and trim everything around it. I've logged in thousands of mani pedis and I think this was the best ever. I will be going back regularly. You should go here and Try to get Sally! read more

Dropping this to 1 star, I've shown multiple people the picture of what I wanted compared to what I got and all of them (none professional nail techs) said there was an obvious difference. NOW on top of that it's been a little over a week and half of my nails - 5 of them!!!- have air pockets which a simple search online is pointing the issue being application. So I paid $140 for my nails to be applied wrong by a professional and look wrong compared to what I asked for. read more

Went here to get my gel polish removed and the lady that removed it was in a rush and distracted by phone calls and other customers. She scraped my nails so hard just to quickly get the polish off that I was left with dents in my nails and now 3 weeks later, they are still rough and patches of what look like bubbles are on my nails. The salon looks dirty and the towels and benches are all stained. Do not recommend coming here and will not return to have anything done. read more

I love Ella Nails! They take walkins and appointments, and with an appointment I've never waited longer than 10 minutes past my time. They want to do a good job, and it's clear by the quality of work! Ella specifically does my hard gel manicures and they're always exactly as I ask for, and she's so funny to boot! These ladies mix their product. Everywhere I went after told me my nails were not gel. They mix their gel with acrylic to save money.

Sweet people here, but I don't recommend. Blocky, haphazard dip powder nail job. The hand massage portion was literally comical. Expensive, and they don't do refunds. Very disappointed! read more

This has become my go-to neighborhood nail salon ! Always friendly and accommodating, they give excellent mani-pedis and the results are solid. They are always busy so going as close to opening time as possible is recommended. I also love that they play music videos on the TV--it's something I look forward to as a little extra indulgence since I never have time for it otherwise! read more

I have been going to Ella nails since 2019 when I used to live close by. I have now moved closer to downtown and no matter where I go for my nails - I always end up coming back to Ella nails! Maybe the SNS is different but this was the worst gel manicure I think I've ever had?? First the nail tech that removed my gel on my nails repeatedly used the electric file to the point where it was painful and I had to grab my hand away. Next the actual manicure. I had to ask for her to apply more coats as the color (a dark taupe/ grey) was streaky and see through... flash forward 2 days and my nails already started chipping. A week later and 2 nails remain polished. Mind you I do not bite/ pick my nails and am meticulous about moisturizing my hands and nails. Overall do not bother coming here if you're looking for a gel manicure that lasts longer than 3 days. read more

I had recently moved down the street from this nail salon and thought I would give it a try. I was there for a total of 20 minutes, 15 of which was spent getting my nails done with absolutely no care at all. The nail tech didn't put enough layers of the gel color so it is streaky, and the top layer wasn't put on evenly or completely. I could have done a better job painting my nails at home, and I am very disappointed. read more

I love this place, I won't go anywhere else!!!! Best dip and gel out of all the places I've been, and Isabella is amazing.

I have tried so hard to like this place. The inconsistent pricing and occasional sub par results were annoying but I was willing to overlook it because one of the nail techs is very talented & seems genuinely nice. However, after my last experience I unfortunately will not be going back here. I went in for a gel manicure and it came out looking very messy and uneven. I asked them to take it off and to just do clear polish as I was on it a time crunch. They insisted they could fix it quickly. An hour later I was still there and it was even sloppier. I could tell my nail tech was angry as she started yelling at the other techs. I ended up leaving with my polish sloppily removed and still paid $18. Overall it was a really frustrating situation and it didn't feel very professional. read more

I went here because it's it's across the street from the place I get laser. I was there for 1 hour and 30 minutes for a no chip pedicure. My big toe looked bulky and bubbly because she tried to fix her mistake by using a lot of coats of polish. She redid it twice and said my foot wasn't straight/flat enough or the light wasn't over the entire nail... although this has never happened to me and all my other toes were fine. read more

I think this place works if you have no other choices. Otherwise, be aware that even if they take an appointment, they won't take you at the time. They have a first come first serve model. In an effort to combat my finger picking issues (which has been a 25 year long battle, mind you), I began using acrylics in mid October. Since then, they've been filled in 2-3 times. Today, my hope was to transition to my natural nail. Not only was I accommodated for on the on the spot appointment (social distancing factored in as well), the lady who helped me (giggly and friendly with bangs) took care of everything down to the smallest details: she soaked my nails and worked off my acrylics little by little (which I had been worried about as it was my first time having acrylics removed), she took care to shape my nails perfectly, and the entire time she was polite, friendly, and amiable! I had gone in wanting a no chip gel manicure, but she helped me by encouraging a dip manicure instead, after she heard about my picking habit and having the foreknowledge that it would be a better option for me. This is the most satisfied I have ever been with a nail service ever in my life. To top it off, she gave me a coupon for my next visit. I will definitely be returning and recommending this salon! So so pleased. Thank you so much! read more

Really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but problems started from when I walked in to when I got home. I called earlier in the day and made a 5:30 pm appointment - I walk in and everyone was busy and no one told me how long it was going to be until someone saw me. I waited 23 minutes just sitting there waiting for a tech to open up. The first tech started to prep my nails and then a second tech took over randomly. That switch seemed to really mess the girl up. She just moved soooo slowly. And then got mad at me that the gel was sliding on my nails but insisted on doing each full hand one by one rather than switching up the fingers, doing the thumbs last, etc. By the time I left it was 7:20pm.... almost TWO HOURS for a standard gel manicure!!!! And it was $40 which I thought was a little high. My nails looked good though so I was happy I waited and stuck it out by the time i left. Fast forward to 8:30 pm - I'm folding my laundry and then my right pinky nail polish completely popped off. My cuticle was bleeding during the prep portion and I don't think the tech prepped the nail properly for gel, which is what I'm attributing it to. I've never had this happen before. So upsetting to have paid close to $50 after tip and spend 2 hours of my life for a bad experience and messed up nails. read more

Went here for a gel fill after finding out the salon I was planning to go to didn't do fills. It was a Saturday afternoon and even though I didn't make an appointment, they were accommodating to still get me in. I showed various pictures of how I wanted them done with the design, shape, length, etc. and they were done exactly as I had wanted them!! They are 2 weeks old and I'm still getting complements on how nice they look! It is not easy to find a salon that can do the almond nail shape as short as I like to get them and they did a great job! I have definitely found my new go to nail salon! I past a few others on my walk there, and I'm so glad I kept going and stopped here! read more
