I just moved to the area from Los Angeles and needed a new nail salon. I wanted to like this place, however, I would recommended you go anywhere else but here! I had a horrible experience on 5/29/26 where it took them 4 hours to do a gel pedicure + gel x extensions. The woman doing my nails was not doing the shape I wanted so another person had to step in to finish my nails. I was telling her the concerns I had about my nails because they didn't look right and I shit you not she said "is that your OCD showing?" Like what? I don't know you??? Wtf kind of customer service is that?!I work in the service industry as a server and I wasn't even going to leave this review until the gel x nails I got didn't even last 5 days. 2 of the nails I got popped off 4 days later. Started of good then it wasn't.. I came for acrylic removal and a pedicure. My pedicure was the worst. and my manicure removal went well. For the pedicure.: the nail part was cute however the bottom and the side of my feet looked the same as I came. I brought this to the techs attention and she's goes next time you have to book a callus treatment. WTH? I still have dead skin on my feet. What a scam!! I'm so mad I wasted my money and time. I've found my new nail place. And actually, I didn't even realize I needed a new nail place. I'm in the process of trying to beautify and pamper myself in the days before I give birth, and getting a manicure and pedicure was on my list of desired treatments. I haven't had a mani pedi since at least October 2019, if not further back than that. They haven't been my #1 priority for pampering (that's a facial), but it do enjoy it. I learned about Dazzle Dry polish in the last year or so and have been curious to try it ever since, but it appears that there's only a few salons in the city that use it and so that's what led me to Spa Avenue. When I got there the woman who worked on me was ready to start immediately; it just took me a few minutes to choose my color. I suppose it was a fairly standard manicure/pedicure, but still I appreciated her attention to detail and she had a great touch--not too rough or anything. My hands and feet feel so nice and soft now. My hands had been really dry lately but they feel soft and supple a day later. Dazzle Dry is fantastic, so between that and the good service I experienced here that will keep me coming back. I usually don't get color on my fingernails when I get a pedicure, I just get them buffed because if they aren't chipped by the time I leave the salon, they are by the end of that same evening. Over 24 hours later, there's not a chip to be seen on my nails currently. It's supposed to last something like 7-10 days and I believe it. It's also great because unlike no-chip, it doesn't have to cure or anything and you can remove it with regular acetone nail polish remover I think. I didn't realize how excited I would be to be able to wear nail color on my fingernails again, or how much I love the look of it! I'm not kidding when I say I gave up on nail polish well over a decade ago and haven't worn it since, and now I can't wait to return and try other colors. I wish I had gotten the name of the nail tech who worked on me today because she was excellent and I'd love to request her specifically next time. But all the folks here seem to know what they're doing so I would expect to have a good experience with anyone. read more

This was my first time visiting Spa Avenue. While the establishment is nice and clean and the staff seem friendly, unfortunately, my toe was cut pretty badly during the pedicure. When this happened the nail technician didn't say anything, even to apologize or acknowledge that she cut me. I know it was an accident and I don't want hold it against them but felt relevant to add this experience as it was awkward, painful, and my toe bled quite a lot. Sadly, two days later my toe still hurts and is red and I worry it might be infected. read more

Super friendly and polite staff! They were about 20 minutes behind on my appointment, but luckily I wasn't in a rush to do anything. The no chip selection is huge and organized. I got the OPI vampsterdam and loved the color for my no chip manicure. My no chip unfortunately chipped within the same week I got it done. I paid $35 plus tip overall. read more

This going to become my regular manicure spot. Their no chip gel service results in the longest lasting, best looking nails I have ever seen! And the ambiance is calm and quiet-/ I always feel serene after an hour there. Maybe it's the video fireplace? Probably it's the great music and placid, kind demeanor of the ladies doing the services. I just moved into the neighborhood and found this salon on Yelp. I walked in for a regular manicure without an appointment mid-day Sunday and was seen immediately. The overall vibe is very relaxing, from the giant gold chairs to the spa music. I easily could have fallen asleep at the manicure chair! The color selection is decent -- not huge, but you could probably find any shade you're looking for. The woman doing my manicure was super charming and polite, offering me a drink and pulling out chairs for me to sit. She gave me a full hand massage in the middle of the manicure, and a shoulder/neck massage while I waited for my nails to dry. Overall, the place was so much more than just a manicure! Today was my first time at SA and I think I found my go-to place. A nice perk is that it's about four blocks away from me, but asides from that fact, I like the smaller size because it feels more personal than a larger, busier place. The atmosphere here is wonderfully calming and the first thing I noticed was how pristine, organized and clean it was. Cleanliness is a HUGE thing for me in salons, so I was happy about that. Ona did my mani-pedi today and she was extremely meticulous and I can honestly say this is the best nail experience I've had in the city (and I've been to so many places that I've lost count). I always get nervous requesting white polish because it comes out streaky 50% of the time, but mine look stunning on both my hands and feet. 5/5 would recommend this place. I was hesitant at first because this was the old address for the other salon but I saw that it has new management so I walked in and got the spa pedicure. Amazing. The lady took her time on everything and it was very well enjoyed. From the massage to the paint job, I would recommend. Very clean place and serene with the music played softly in the background.
