Checked out OSP in Lenexa and I would go back again and for that Rangoon dip they have!! It's absolutely delicious. We half & halfed 2 pizzas and tried 4 kinds. Their pepperoni is so good! Good flavor on good crust. The margarita was delicious also! Their luau was okay. I do really like their crust. Not too thin and crispy enough. The cannolis were okay. The staff were super nice and it gives a woody bar vibe.

Pizza here is so fresh and worth it. I enjoyed the vibes here and it's always a pack here whenever we come in. Friendly staff as always. They got daily deals and lots of drinks to choose from too. Would come back again.

The service and atmosphere was great. Family friendly. The food was hot and delicious and the menu had a great selection.

I was going back and forth between a 3 and a 4. We came here after a dinner for some night caps but I couldn't help order some pizza since I love pizza and it's in the name of the restaurant. We ordered two whiskey flights and a small personal pizza as a snack to soak up the whiskey even though we just ate . It was a pretty chill environment but we came later in the night so I don't know how normally weekend nights are for this establishment. I will say they had the best whiskey collection I have seen! They have everything you can imagine from rare and allocated products. Our waitress was having a long, tough night but she was super sweet. The pizza came out fresh and hot. Since it was smaller, it reminded me of pizza I made at home but I will say that it had a nice crust. Topping, cheese, and base wise was fine but the crunchy cracker like crust was solid. I will probably be back here to try a larger pizza to get the true experience and also definitely for the whiskey flight specials like on Wednesday. Tequila will be on Tuesday I hear.

It's been a minute since my last visit, and I'm thrilled to report that absolutely nothing has changed... and for once, that's actually a compliment. Round 1: The Liquid Diet Naturally, I kicked off my personal Tour of Italy with a couple of custom cocktails. The Elegant Marguerite: Fantastic, but don't let the name fool you. This "elegant" drink has a dark side and can cause a first round knockout. Proceed with caution. The Limoncellotini: Hands down, the absolute star of the show. Sweet, smooth, and hit every single note on the playlist. Pure perfection. Phase 2: The Carbs & Carnage Next up was the appetizer round. I went with the Calamari Fritta, served with a classic marinara and a seriously impressive pesto-style sauce. The calamari itself was light, airy, and practically melted in my mouth. For the main event, I ordered their specialty: Chicken Vincenzo. We're talking lightly breaded chicken with mushrooms, garlic, and herbs and one heck of a flavorful sauce, side-chicked by a plentiful portion of linguine. The pasta was a masterclass in al dente, and this lived up to the hype. The Service & The Happy accident. Our server was fantastic--actually took the time to pour our drinks tableside and drop some stellar meal recommendations. The place was also impeccably clean, as you'd expect. But the real test of a great restaurant is how they handle a hiccup. One of our friends ordered the eggplant parm, but the kitchen accidentally sent out chicken parm instead. Now, they absolutely would have bent over backwards to replace it, but the chicken looked so darn good they just went with it anyway. When a mistake tastes that good, you know the kitchen isn't messing around. 10/10. Will be back to get hammered by that Marguerite again.

The sugo is solid. Arnacini were a little small, but got the job done. My son and wife are big fans of the gnocchi. That dish was big. The lasagna is a smaller portion - about the size of your first, but you can tell the pasta was fresh. Spedini was tender and juice, but even with oil and herbs, there was something missing. There is a old school Italian ambiance with the decor. It works for Overland Park but just seems kind of weird in a strip mall.

I ordered online and went through their drive thru. Super easy process and the woman in the drive thru was super nice. The sandwich was very tasty. It came with a sauce on the side but I didn't need any. The Asian pickles gave me enough flavor. The steak was good, had an ok amount of fat on it, but small amounts are no issues for me. My wife tried the Chicken Alfredo and she loved it. I think it was good, maybe the one-cheese kind of Alfredo called the Cacio e Pepe, don't get me wrong, it's very good, but the chicken probably isn't fresh, and the flavor is good. Not what I'm used to. But very good. NOW, the crème brûlée was AMAZING!!!!!! Totally worth the 4.50 each. Will I eat here again, sure. I'll give some of the other foods a try...but the crème brûlée will be a staple.

My beef noodle dish ($10.99) was served just eight minutes after I ordered at the bar, where the service was accommodative and still getting up to speed on order entry. The dish had a tasty sauce, delicious noodles, a good variety of veggies and a good amount of delicious, lean, seasoned, perfectly cooked beef - nice! I only wish the portion had been a little larger. I found the dining area to be clean and recently remodeled, with sound coming from one TV tuned to a sports channel inside. I also noticed a drive-thru lane outside. They opened eight minutes late and the employees took the parking spots closest to the entrance - not cool. I also noticed a 4% credit card surcharge. Overall, I'm thinking 3.5 stars and rounding up for the delicious dish.

Avelluto's is located in Mission, in the same shopping complex as Rally House, Mud Pie, and a Wing Stop, and Tipsy's Liquor. It's a small place, maybe dozen tables. You place your order at the front counter. If you're dining in you get a number. I was taking away and got the Eggplant Parmigiana and Tiramisu. While waiting I saw people continuing to come in and order, then waiting for a tablets to open. I think most of the people were considerate enough to not linger after eating. So the turnover on the tables was pretty quick. The Eggplant Parmigiana was really good. The breading on the eggplant was crispy and well-seasoned, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked, the sauce was deceptively simple. I say deceptively because it was a straight marinara but wonderfully flavored. And the Tiramisu! The best Tiramisu I've had. I went back with FPO and got pizza by the slice, the Chicken Parmigiana, and a small Meatball with Rigatoni. And of course, another slice of Tiramisu. Everything was wonderful the second time too. That tells me they're consistent and I will be going back again. And probably again after that.

The Moderno salad -- with cherries, cured beef, pine nuts, and goat cheese -- was flavorful, though the espresso vinaigrette unfortunately tasted more like straight vinegar than espresso. I had the short rib bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. Others at the table ordered the Funghi pasta with creamy white sauce, which was good but could have used a bit more mushroom flavor. The Toscana chicken breast (bone-in) with sun-dried tomato sauce had that perfect "marry me" flavor -- rich and satisfying. For dessert, we had the Plate chocolate cake with raspberry and pistachios. It was a huge slice, with a rich chocolate flavor. So why not five stars? Despite having reservations, we were seated right by the kitchen where servers pick up food. Made more annoying because the restaurant had a lot of empty booths and tables in the main dining room. The upside was that the pizza ovens kept us warm, but it wasn't the most relaxing spot. There were also a couple billing issues: the tip was calculated on the post-tax total rather than pre-tax. Also our prix fixe dinners included dessert and we opted to upgrade to a different dessert from the menu. Oddly the up-charge was $6, even though the menu price difference was only $3. That said, Plate offers delicious, well-priced food (though the drinks are on the expensive side), and it's still a great choice for Italian food in Kansas City

The servers are wonderful. When I made the reservation, I made a note on the reservation and requested a quiet table, as a couple in our party don't hear that well. Normally, Paul and Bill complies and we have a great time. The management DID respond that they would place us at a quiet table, and to remind the hostess. Unfortunately, the hostess seated us next to a larger table, which turned out to be a group of women that were drinking and having a good time (no criticism of the women - they were out having a great time). I spoke with the hostess after we had ordered, but before our food arrived, and explained that we had requested a quiet table. There were plenty of tables open. She said she would get back to me in a minute. I never heard back from the hostess in the black pants. We finished our dinner next to the noisy table, but it was very difficult to have a conversation of our own. The food (garlic bread, salads, Chardonney, veal and chicken, and desserts) was all yummy. I just expected the hostess to at least speak with me if they couldn't accommodate our quiet table request. Ella, the waitress, was also made aware. Unfortunately, the requests all fell on deaf ears. So, please enjoy your dinner at Paulo and Bill, but assert yourself if you requested a quiet table. I should have done so, more loudly. Live and learn.
