Always long lines due to minimal number of open registers. Never good variety in sizes.

The store has nice items but it's very unorganized. The whole store looks like a clearance section

The Children's Place

I wish we could do 1/2 stars on here. I enjoy Children's Place because they have cute clothes and…read moreaffordable prices. There is typically a sale, coupon, or rewards points to use never to pay full price. However, sometimes they lack variety in bottoms. Once you've purchased all the jeans, it does not seem like they come out with new styles or colors. However, that is a company issue, not this particular store. This store is very small, cluttered, and congested. Navigating through this store with a purse and children (god forbid a stroller) is a nightmare. They do an okay job of trying to keep things organized, but with so much merchandise in such a little space it is challenging. My major complaint with this store is I can NEVER get in and out. I always spend at LEAST ten minutes in line, and I am not exaggerating. Whether I'm shopping, picking up, or doing a return, the transactions always take FOREVER. It is beyond annoying. There is typically only one registration open, and only once the line gets about five deep and people are trying to figure out were to stand in this crammed store will they open another one. Just ugh. The clothes are of decent quality, they last okay, but do not waste your time with their casual shoes (sandals and flats for girls are fine). Overall, this store needs to be remodeled. The clothes are cute, and the prices are reasonable, but I do not like coming in here. I mainly shop online.

The clothes here are in poor taste. All of the girls' clothing was EXTREMELY prissy. Nobody wants…read moreunicorns on everything. My daughter was even disgusted that everything was pastel and fairy-tale-ish. Aside from the lack of taste for girl's clothing, this store...this SPECIFIC location...is the WORST LAYOUT of a store that I have ever seen. There is approximately 6-8 inches between each rack of clothing that you have to turn sideways and brush against all of the clothes to get through. If you have kids with you, forget it. They'll get lost in the heaps of stock piled everywhere. If management were smart, they'd move out into a bigger space. (Or quit, and work for a more tasteful line of kid's clothing. Children's Place, take note, you look like the Justice store.)

Ticknors - Suit & shoes with pizazz!!! Love it.

Ticknors

This review is of Hunter - sales guy more so than Tiknors. They actually have some nice clothes…read morebut if you are thinking of shopping here - DO NOT work with Hunter (tall guy, dark hair, beard, & glasses). I purchased a new suit for an upcoming wedding. When I picked the suit up it had 2 chalk marks on the sleeve. I pointed it out and Hunter said he would steam it out. He returned with the suit in a garment bag. When I got home I took it out and there were now 2 black marks where the chalk marks used to be. I returned to the store the next day and showed it to Hunter and he said it would come out once it was drycleaned. Honestly, I was shocked he didn't offer to have it dry cleaned. I just spent $1000 on a suit, shirt, tie, etc and he told me I would need to take it to get it dry cleaned. So before I wear the brand new suit I just purchased from you, that you marked up, I have to pay to have it dry cleaned? He said "yes". I asked to speak to the manager and fortunately the manager had enough customer service acumen to do the right thing and save some future business. So, avoid Hunter at all cost - ask for Ben instead. (I originally worked with Ben but when I returned for the fitting Ben was on vacation and due to the timing of the wedding I coudn't wait for him to return - unfortunate for me). P.S. After the shirt I purchased was tailored one sleeve was longer than the other. I get it - those things happen - but Hunter seemed absolutely lost when it came time to measure the sleeve to be adjusted and stuck a pin in the cuff of the shirt multiple times before he even acknowledged he probably shouldn't be doing that.

One of the owners ended up helping us out and he was fantastic. Great customer service--not pushy, but they definitely know what they're talking about and are very helpful. They also provide free tailoring when you purchase any of their suits. Although I do not wear men's suits myself, I'd highly recommend this business to anyone who is in need of a new suit or men's dress wear. They also sold a selection of shoes and more casual items, so it's worth stopping in regardless of what you're looking for. Be sure to support this great local business!
