Been shopping here for years and have loved a lot of the selections, but recently bought a shirt that I realized later wasn't the right fit, came back to return it and brought the receipt, price tag and everything else it came with but got denied a return because the tag wasn't PHYSICALLY ATTACHED to the shirt. My eldest son recently graduated from NC State and needed a suit for his new job. His mother took him by the New Hope Commons location of Men's Warehouse. Two of the employees pretended my wife and son did not exist. The their was rude and dismissive. Onsite tailoring was done only 2 days a week. Measuring for a suit? NOPE - that would make the employees uncomfortable. So if you want to pay high prices and get none of the services one would expect for the high prices, go to Men's Warehouse at New Hope Commons. First time in 20 years I am been disappointed at a Men's Warehouse, was ready to buy 10 shirts for work but they would unpackaged one to check for fit. Apparently they don't know what a good customer I have been over the years. Suits, Tuxs, shoes, formal and causal shirts. When I said that is strange and first time I ever experienced that from a Men's Warehouse, the sales rep said buy one, take it home and if you don't like it then return it. Called in to ask about suits for a wedding in 6+ months. I was met with an exasperated sigh, and the gentleman proceeded to tell me that they only had one try-on jacket that was a size 40 and I was "welcome" to come try it on (said with a particular tone of sarcasm). I get we all have bad days, and maybe this gentleman was busy. But this isn't a good way to conduct business. read more

I have visited this store twice in the past month and was very pleased with the level of service I received. When I first went in I was looking to purchase a suit I had seen on sale on their website. When I got there I was warmly greeted and they apologized when it was determined what I was looking for wasn't available in the store. Ivan, the manager, was fantastic, telling me what next steps I would have to take ordering online, getting my measurements, explaining what I would need and how I would proceed. He also let me know that if I received it and there were any issues I could bring it back to the store and they would help me rectify it. The suit I got was so nice that I decided to look into purchasing another, which I did a couple weeks later. Unfortunately when I got this second suit I realized I had ordered the wrong size. Though it was my error, I was hopeful they may be able to help me at the store, and when I brought it in Jenna, the assistant manager, was just as nice and helpful and took care of getting it sent back in exchange for the right size. I did not expect such an amazing experience and will definitely be recommending them to friends as well as utilizing their services myself in the future. This location is on their game and overall so is Mens Wearhouse... When it comes to renting a suit Mens Wearhouse is your best choice because of their network. I got sized, picked up and dropped off my tux at there different locations and the experience was seamless, pun intended. If you have multiple people to coordinate a wedding outfit with then it's likely Mens Wearhouse could be your only choice. Rest assured that overall you won't be risking too much when you select Mens Wearhouse to dress your crew. When I got to this Durham location to pick up my tux they were busy and I thought this was not going to go smoothly... I was wrong. The manager greeted me and quickly brought up my order in the computer. He then led me back to the dressing room where they already had my tux ready and all laid out nicely. They had a dedicated team member to make sure the tux was correct. In fact this location had a great team and even though they were helping several customers at once they really had it all under control. Great service and good overall experience. read more

My father just passed and I was in need of a suit quickly. Jenna was amazing. As soon as she saw me looking confused she ran over and asked what she could do for me. I explained that I needed a suit today and with no tailor she sized me went through all the inventory they had to find me a perfect combination at the most affordable price for what I needed. I was in and out in probably less than 30 minutes and couldn't be happier with the support Jenna provided. She even provided me another tailor that she knew could get my alterations done same day. I can't say enough about her she made my life very easy in a time when I really needed it. This men's warehouse in has won my future business. read more

In my experiences with MW, the customer service is inconsistent. On some visits to the store, you're greeted as you enter which is usually followed with some questioning to figure out which is the best way to assist you. Then there are other times where you may not get greeted at all and wander the store looking for help. This particular trip, I was greeted upon my entrance. The gentleman asked me some follow up questions and informed me, that he'd be with me momentarily (he was assisting someone else, so I totally understood). After about 10 minutes, I noticed the customer he was assisting had left the store and the sales rep was nowhere to be found. Luckily a female associate, came to assist me and I was over and done with in about 10 minutes. Overall, it's a classy store with very good pricing. read more

My husband and I came her for tuxedo rentals for our wedding. I choose MW because a close friend that lives in the RTP area had used a local MW for her wedding and had a great experience with them and she said the price was right. I choose this location because it was close to my home. Mistake, I guess all MW are NOT created equal. The gentleman there did help us to choose a tuxedo that in pictures and on the sales floor looked great and was reasonably priced. My husband was the only one of the bridal party that actually got measure for his tuxedo at this location. Because the rest of the gentleman that needed tuxes lived out of town, they went to their local MW and were measured and were put into the system. I was a little worried because my dad is XXL and XXLT that they would have issues getting something that fit him. No worries here, my dad looked sharp!! Now as for my husband, the fit of his tuxedo is the reason for the one star. He was fitted by a gentleman at this store, I wish I had remembered his name, but his tuxedo was so horribly sized that on our wedding day he looked sloppy:( The pants were too loose and too short. The dress shirt was so short that he could not take his jacket off. The cummerbund was so small that he actually had to switch with my dad (who if you remember is huge) and even then it kept creeping up. The jacket fit the best but even so it was too loose in the shoulders. Now I love my husband and he was very handsome on our wedding day but MW had nothing to do with it. There were so many errors made in the fit of the tuxedo, I would whole heartily say 'Do not go here for tuxedo rentals'. Unless of course you really don't care what you look like. read more

This used to be my favorite place to shop for suits and dress clothes. I loved the upscale customer service I would receive and expert fitting. I always felt comfortable and relaxed shopping. Now it's just like any store at the mall. They want you to get your stuff with as little help as possible and get out. One salesperson in particular during my last two visits was simply rude. Another was literally rolling her eyes. I got fit for a tux and the jacket was way too tight and the shirt sleeves were too short. But because they didn't even get it in shop until a few hours before I had to board the plane, I had to take it and make it work. The tux itself seemed cheaply made. Definitely not worth the rental fee. One of the cuff links broke before I even got the thing fully tried on and once at my destination the garment bag it came in fell apart. Zipper just came to pieces. I don't know what has happened to this location. Perhaps they hired cheaper staff due to budget, who knows. What I do know is no gentleman wants to be made to feel rushed or like they are a bother when purchasing more expensive garments. I'll add that I have physical disabilities and even though I was apologetic about needing extra help with my collar and certain things it was very clear the salesperson was annoyed with me. Stopped here looking for a suit for my teenage son to wear to a formal. Sales person comes over right away and takes his measurements and begins handing him suit pieces that are $300 each. That's fine, but I explain that he is wearing this once l, maybe twice, and is growing at a fast rate. I ask if I can see any of the reasonably priced suits they have splashed all over the website. She immediately vanishes and begins helping other customers. Heard her telling another sales person "they don't want to spend a lot of money" and mysteriously no one else ever comes back to help us either. We hung up all the articles she had given us and left. I understand they must work on commission, but isn't commission on a $150 suit better than 0 and assuring I won't be coming back? read more

For many men shopping for business attire, particularly when you're a big guy like myself, is not heck of allot of fun. I'm 5'11 275 pounds. I decided to check out Men's Wearhouse in Durham hoping they would have a selection in my size (54). Thankfully I was not disappointed. I found more than couple of suits in my size to choose from. The sales staff was helpful. I was double teamed with an experienced pro and a new trainee. You know some might have found the approach bordering on pushy but I actually appreciated all their suggestions and liked how the layed out options in shirts and ties to go with the suit. All in all it was a great experience. The only reason I don't rate them a 5 is that their prices lean toward the expensive. But it was worth it to me to pay more for great service. Price aside this is the place to go to for men's wear. read more

My fiancé and I have been very pleased with each experience we've had here over the past month. We were able to find a nice suit for him and his grooms men to wear in our wedding in May. This has required having different sizes sent in from other stores and the staff here was very accommodating. They even helped us find coordinating ties and when there weren't enough of that color had those sent as well. We got a fantastic deal on the ties and suits and really couldn't have been happier with our experience. The customer service is commendable and the prices were very reasonable. read more

I placed an order for a tux and the order seemingly vanished without a trace. I was upset and the manager Bronson personally spent hours hunting and found my missing garment. I have only been here once and although the garments were a tad pricey compared to online retailers, the customers service was top notch. read more

I had a great experience with Orlando at this store. Going to get my first suit for a graduate school interview I was a bit hesitant that I didn't know what to look for. No fear, Orlando was not pushy but had great suggestions from the suit to a sport coat to shirts and ties and shoes. I did not feel forced to buy any of it, but well informed about great options. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. I don't often do this, but I even felt compelled to find the manager and tell her how great of a job he did. I bought suites in the past from MW and it worked out ok but the last time is a long story. After several trips I finally went home with a suite that didn't fit properly. After some time I decided to give it another try and they said I'd have to have it dry cleaned first before alterations. Had it dry cleaned but then needed to go on an interview. But after some thought I realized there's no way they're going to make this fit. Pretty pissed and disappointed. I'm looking for somewhere else to buy a whole new suite. read more

I give the management a thumbs up for training employees to greet customers warmly. After that, customer service trails off. I stopped in around dinner time to pick up a tuxedo that my 16 year old ordered for his prom. He waited. And waited. And waited. He said an employee helping him was called away to the phone. I finally spoke to two employees sitting outside the dressing room playing on their cellphone (I watched the Instagram feed briefly). One of the gentleman left his seat to help my son. This is his first prom experience. After financially raping me for over $200, there should have been no delay in fitting my son's tux. Maybe I'll get better service on the return. read more
