I just needed the straps of the dress to be shorter and for the tulle/lace in the front to be replaced with fabric from the dress. First, they lost the replacement fabric I provided. Next, they cut the straps of the dress dramatically and changed the entire structure of the dress to an unwanted empire waist dress! After crying in the store from being groped (yes, groped) and gaslit by the rude staff, they promised to correct their mistake and for me to come back. After coming back two more times (each the dress straps were not adjusted as requested), they let out the bust of the dress. This was not requested at all and now my perfect dress is a complete disaster! The staff at Lee's Tailors managed to destroy not only the dress but the vision for my wedding. After going back and forth to them FIVE times, I managed to get my dress from them. Now, I have to either purchase a replacement dress or find another seamstress all before my wedding in three weeks!! I'm completely screwed and left scrambling! I would've been better off altering the dress myself.

Projects will cost more than simple alterations (like hemming pants), but I think they've been really nice and it's very worth it! Also, instead of directly fixing my friend's dress, the owner actually suggested an easy fix that would cost no money instead. I would definitely trust her for alterations!

Not slightly off, visibly crooked…read more Instead of acknowledging it, the tailor told me the work was fine and actually pulled out a ruler to try to convince me I was wrong. I could see it with my own eyes. She finally agreed to redo it. I came back, and the front buttons were still not straight. When I pointed it out, she said she had a lot of work and didn't have time to fix it. Then she offered to give me classes so I could do it myself. I honestly couldn't believe it. It was incredibly dismissive, as if fixing her own mistake was beneath her and my complaint was somehow my problem to solve. I paid a tailor so I wouldn't have to sew my own buttons, not to be offered a sewing lesson after she got the job wrong twice. And then she just walked away and went inside, mid-conversation, leaving me standing there with a suit that still isn't right. Two attempts, crooked buttons both times, a ruler to argue with me, and a rude exit. Save yourself the time and frustration and take your clothes anywhere else.
