I came back to give this place another chance. I came on a weekday around 6pm and it was not as busy this time. There were several tables available. However, the service was still pretty. Also, the meat scissors were not very helpful when cutting the meat. The meat itself was good, though. There is a lot of parking in the shopping center as well.

Lunch Combo ($19.95) offered great value. Banchan came quickly, were all well-made and delicious. Especially enjoyed the cilanto-based small plate. Our meal began with complimentary cratered steamed egg and fried yellow croakers. The croakers were cooked perfectly, flaky under those golden brown skin. Soft tofu stew used semi-firm tofu and could be improved. Bibim Nangmyun was excellent and served with slices of beef (i think) on top. Bulgogi was well-portioned, delectable, super tender (but with some hard to chew through fat) and very well-seasoned. Spicy pork (sliced) was slightly charred and very irresistible.

The crew! Proud of these guys!

Went to dinner at Ohgane with my son and 2 grandsons. Never been to a Korean BBQ before. We went with the level B. Everything we ate was good. The one series ordering the shrimp, Jumbo shrimp and octopus was not good. Otherwise everyone got out fill. Nice place, clean and not to noisy. seated at our 5:00 reservation time for Sunday. All staff was helpful. We had several stupid questions they could have rolled in the floor about. But no, they were gracious and helpful. Watching others I could see there are some things we can do differently on our next visit. Everyone enjoyed our meals.

Worst customer service experience I've had in a while. No welcome in, no introduction or asking us if we've ever been there before or if we have any questions or how to order, etc. They just pointed to the table and never came back. We ordered the cheese corn which literally had 15 corn kernels in it. When we called to say there was no corn in our cheese corn the gentleman responded "that's just how we make it" and walked away. You can have the best food around but if you have horrible customer service, I will not return.

Yummy food with good portions and plenty of options. The service was great, quick, and the waiter checked on us often. The ambiance is good--it has an open layout with a decent amount of seating options. The only downside is there is no included dessert for the price.

The space itself is huge and there's a whole back section that they ended seating us in. It is a bit tight as they really stack the tables next to each other. Good AYCE Korean bbq option and they give you a wide variety of side dishes. Not the best I've had but still a good option for a good selection of different meats and appetizers

I wanted to try this place for my birthday with the fam. They don't take reservations so when we walked in around lunch time, there was no wait. Parking can be a handful since so many restaurants and shops around. They allowed 5 meats per round and we pulled the menu from scanning the bar code too. We ordered the ayce premium menu which was $55 per person. I wanted to try the wagyu brisket, galbi, and the scallop. My absolute favorite is the wagyu brisket and galbi. I really liked their huge portions (especially the wagyu brisket), but was difficult to cook on the small grill. It was better to cut the meat in small portions so they cook faster. We also tried the following: Pork shoulder (must order) Hawaiian pork belly (must order) Unagi Garlic pork belly Ohgane has plenty of options to choose from. Only downfall was the service. Our waitress did not checked on our table if we needed more meat, water refill or asked how was the food. Only time was changing the grill. Overall the food and portions were worth it.

One of our favorite KBBQ spots. Very delicious and flavorful. Service is great, especially the food runners and bussers-- they're amazing! Plenty of seating and spacious enough.

Went here on a Monday and service was very fast and efficient. The food was so good ! Meat cuts are high quality and delicious. Restaurant was not too crowded and the server was very nice and polite.

Probably the best KBBQ here in the county. And very much thanks for having the thin pork belly and thin beef belly. They didnt have them on our last review from many years ago (and I just noticed I should've updated my review long time ago. sorry for the long delay).

We came here as a big family and we all got something we enjoyed. Ayce KBBQ is always my go-to option for large group hangout lol. Nice soju is a plus. A bit of waiting on food serving, but not too bad.

We had a lovely experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted at the door, and our food and drinks arrived very quickly. I really enjoyed using the new tablet--it made ordering simple and convenient. Everything was served promptly, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ventilation for the barbecue was excellent, which made the dining experience even more comfortable. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family, and I highly recommend this location.

Came here with a friend for lunch as they have several EV chargers in this Park and Shop shopping center and my friend needed to charge her car. The place is similar to the Ohgane at Alameda South Shore. They had a lunch special with choice of soup, scrambled egg and bulgogi for only $20 so my friend got that and I got japchae. Both were tasty and hardy. We will come back again as the food, service and atmosphere is great for catching up

I like the food but no quiet ambiance here. Their music is too loud and the choice is not quite conducive for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

As far as service, I came in around 1pm on a Wednesday and received my meal in less than 10 minutes! I was pleasantly surprised and joyful given I was starving. If you come in on the weekends where it's a bit busier, long times will be longer as expected. Our server whom I didn't get to catch the name of, was kind and checked in with us about needing anything else just the right amount of times! When I asked for more lemon, another worker happily brought them over whereas in other locations, they might not do it with the best attitude. Their lemon pepper fries weren't my favorite as I've had better but still tasty and worth satisfying an intense craving for them. Can't wait to come back!

4 Stars! If you've…read moreread my other reviews, I'm pretty much a stickler for a clean restaurant. This one didn't pass the test. I'm basing this on my second time here because the first time I was sat at a table, not a booth. We were out for the morning, and decided to come here for lunch before having to take my son to the airport. I had come before and loved the sauce. We got there as they opened and were the first ones seated. They tried to sit us at a booth, but it was dirty, so we moved to the next one, still dirty, but we sat down anyway because it was cleaner than the first. The first table - the table itself was dirty, and the back of the booths had sauce and oily handprints all over them. The second table, the table was cleaner, but the booth backs were dirty with sauce and oily handprints. I kept reminding myself not to sit all the way back. I used the bathroom to wash my hands but did not use the toilets. Bathroom could use a deeper clean. One thing is they have kind of weird decal thing on the wall by the bathroom which if you don't take the time to read, seems really in appropriate So due to the cleanliness, I'm marking it down a star. As for the food and service, excellent. I really didn't think I would find another place better than my go-to in Berkeley, Bag O Crab, but I did. I don't know what it is about their sauce but it's just a little bit better than Bag. I got their house sauce, mild. Next time I'll get medium because there was no spice at all. I am just used to other Cajun spots, I guess, and ordering a mild, only for it to be super spicy. I like that they stay true to the word mild, lol. Especially for those who can't handle heat. Everyone enjoyed their boils. My husband ordered the catfish and he said it was excellent. The only thing we didn't really care for was the garlic noodles. Bag has the trophy on that. I love that they bring you lemons, s&p in little containers, bibs, all utensils, etc. at the beginning. So you don't have to wave down staff to bring you that. The bucket for shells and the boils coming in trays, so nice! We will definitely be back. I just hope they clean the booths soon, lol.

We had a fun night our first time dining here. on our favorite seafoods. My wife loves lobster,…read moreI love king crab, and the side dishes were all good, like shrimp and even crawdads. Everybody in our party was happy. The portions are very generous, and people can very easily split an order and they don't mind if you do. If you are on a budget, this makes their 40 dollar price tag manageable. It's a little confusing because they have signs outside advertising $39.99 All You can Eat. I'm not sure how that works but we just ordered off the menu. The Caesar Salad was delicious and large enough for a family, about $13. They also have affordable drinks, like $5 shots. That'll be $15 in Walnut Creek. Also they have a loyal customer program where points get food. The service was also very personable and timely. The employees are friendly and they show something uncommon these days: enjoyment in their hospitality. It's tucked away at the end of the mall but not too hard to find it park. When we entered, we were greeted by an employee and were seated immediately, as some of our friends were already seated and waiting for us. We didn't get to do the AYCE because everyone at the table had to do AYCE. So we just did A la Carte. I ordered the CBT combo with 1lb of shrimp and 1/2lb of clams, medium spice, and signature combo flavor. As much as I wanted to like this place, their seafood boil was so bland, watery, and there was no garlic at all. Very disappointed! We also got the Fried Oysters with garlic fries; at least that one was decent. All of my friends also complained that theirs is also watery and bland. At the end, all I can taste is just a peppery flavor. That was my 1st meal of the day, and I still ate the whole thing since I was so hungry. Overall, I don't think I will come back. For someone who eats Seafood boil at least once a month, I don't think it's worth the money. Oh, and there was a kid who was soliciting at every table, and when we said we don't carry cash, he looked us dead in the eyes and left. I just thought that was weird.

My most recent visit fell far short of satisfactory and, indeed, posed a significant health risk…read moreby. My husband and I made a point of clearly communicating my severe nut allergy to our server. This critical information was reiterated on two subsequent occasions: first, when I opted for the salad after the tomato soup was unavailable, specifically noting the limited nut-free choices, and again, when my husband ordered the tiramisu cocktail. Given that we frequently share dishes, I inquired if the garnish on his drink contained nuts, prompting our server to verify with the bar and confirm its absence. We ordered the beef and lamb dumpling appetizer. The menu description for this item did not list any nut ingredients. Shortly after we began consuming the dish, my husband noted an unexpected crunchy texture. A query to another staff member, who then consulted our server, led to our server returning to our table and asking about my well-being. At this point, I was already experiencing a tingling sensation in my tongue, a clear indicator of an allergic reaction. When I directly asked if the dish contained nuts, our server confirmed the presence of pine nuts, responding with "I know, I'm sorry," when reminded of my previously stated allergy. This incident is profoundly disturbing. It highlights a critical lapse in the establishment's adherence to food safety protocols, specifically concerning allergen communication and staff training. The failure to accurately disclose all ingredients on your menu, coupled with the apparent disregard for my repeatedly communicated life-threatening allergy, is unacceptable and put my health, and potentially my life, at severe risk. My evening, which was intended to be a celebratory occasion, was instead marked by fear and distress. I expected a thorough investigation into this matter, a detailed explanation of the immediate and long-term steps the establishment planned to implement to rectify these deficiencies including improvements to the menu labeling practices, comprehensive and mandatory allergen awareness training for all staff, and a review of overall safety procedures to ensure such a dangerous oversight does not affect other patrons. Instead I got an email saying they would look into it and get back to me in a week. It's been almost 9 months.
