They tried to sit us at a booth, but it was dirty, so we moved to the next one, still dirty, but we sat down anyway because it was cleaner than the first. The second table, the table was cleaner, but the booth backs were dirty with sauce and oily handprints. I kept reminding myself not to sit all the way back. I used the bathroom to wash my hands but did not use the toilets. Bathroom could use a deeper clean. One thing is they have kind of weird decal thing on the wall by the bathroom which if you don't take the time to read, seems really in appropriate So due to the cleanliness, I'm marking it down a star. As for the food and service, excellent. I really didn't think I would find another place better than my go-to in Berkeley, Bag O Crab, but I did. I don't know what it is about their sauce but it's just a little bit better than Bag. I got their house sauce, mild. Next time I'll get medium because there was no spice at all. I am just used to other Cajun spots, I guess, and ordering a mild, only for it to be super spicy. I like that they stay true to the word mild, lol. Especially for those who can't handle heat. Everyone enjoyed their boils. My husband ordered the catfish and he said it was excellent. The only thing we didn't really care for was the garlic noodles. Bag has the trophy on that.
