Sugar free white chocolate mocha
Shelly F.

The coffee is good. I am in town twice a year and I always stop here for coffee. I even told the barista this and she just half smiled and went on. I asked her for sugar free suggestions and she pointed me to a sign. So, the service is really not that great but I like to support local instead of huge chains. I have felt less than appreciated the last couple of visits so I may need to find a new spot the next time I'm here. Maybe they are just big in locals. I'm not sure.

I have not been to OHenrys in a while but decided to stop in for a nice treat. I ended up getting an iced latte, cinnamon roll and an orange cranberry muffin. All three were fantastic. The service was fantastic and I had my order in less than five minutes. It wasn't overly crowded and noisy. It was a great atmosphere. They also had a to go section where you could grab stuff if the kitchen part is closed. So that is something to keep in mind if you are going to grab lunch. They also have a menu of sandwich and soup items too. I'll have to stop back in and try those items. But overall I was please. The cinnamon roll wasn't overdone and wasn't drenched in icing. It was perfect and the muffin was fresh. The latte was also very tasty. I will be coming back again.

Their coffee tastes so amazing. Brought my kid here for their birthday morning coffee. Service was great. They did sell me an item they didn't have any more of, so I had to select something else. But they were really nice about it. The booths closest to the door will not fit people of larger sizes, FYI. But they had outdoor as well as inside seating and we chose the upstairs area. Very nice atmosphere. The music was at the perfect level (not blaring). Very snug place to grab a nice coffee and chat.

Blueberry scone

This place smells heavenly when you walk inside. Such fantastic options on the menu for drink and food. The decor is creative and I love how they used old doors to hang on the walls. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I tried the blueberry scone and they heated it for me. So great!! Soft and flavorful with the right balance of sweetness. The Latte was tasty but the iced coffee with a pump of vanilla and cinnamon powder is the best! Super convenient location if you are staying at the Courtyard across the street.

The O'Henrey's Brookwood location has a lot to offer. Keeping up the same charming decor as it's sister stores, this particular location has ample indoor and patio seating. The drinks and pastries are consistently delish and they also keep a pitcher of water for guests. The staff knows their menu quite well and can help you find just the right drink. Their free wifi has a strong signal and you can tell by how many college students you'll see knocking out work throughout the building. Their upstairs space can also be reserved for things like small groups or other community related meetings.

"Cappuccino"

This rating is only reflective of the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and received a very milky latte. I asked if they could remake with half of the milk and received another very milky latte. Probably a good place to study or hang out, but the drink quality and basic knowledge of what a cappuccino should taste like is very low. Definitely wouldn't come here for the coffee.

Really enjoyed my stop here before a basketball game on Samford's campus. They have plenty of coffee options brewed and bean for you to buy. I had an americano and quite possibly one of the best I've had. I also got a salted caramel pretzel brownie as a snack and it was so good. Very rich. Like very rich, but no regrets.

Cute coffee shop with some character :) This is the type of coffee shop that is the epitome of all coffee shops. It has the cozy feeling, the wooden chairs, the clocks around the room, and of course, the smell of fresh coffee beans. It's got the classics like the americano and the lattes, but they also have seasonal drinks throughout the year! They also have muffins, scones, and even biscuits if you're a little hungry. The only downside of O'Henry's is that it is packed! If you want to come study here or meet up with an old friend, try to get there early.

Local coffee in Bham -- this is my go to spot when in town. Honey cinnamon latte is VERY GOOD!!

This is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and particularly this location. Most recently we tried the holiday menu and everything was delicious! They even gave us a pup cup that our dog also enjoyed. It has such a cozy feel inside and the outside seating area is huge.

I enjoy coffee from O'Henry's. The food is tasty too. The quiche is not my favorite though.

The prices are too high for the product. A medium coffee cost almost $7. I can go to Starbucks or Red Mountain Expresso for a lot less.

My friends got the ham and cheese croissants, which looked incredible. I got several different things to try, intending to share, but brought them all home on a rainy day and they never made it back out of the house. The olive oil cake was scrumptious. Light, pleasantly sweet. Almost a pound cake texture, not that weird polenta-y thing. The oat morning bar also had an incredible flavor. The jam was tart and the oats were sweet with a little salty finish. Fantastic with some coffee. There was a line out the door when we got here. No seating inside. It all moved very quickly. I can see why everyone says these are the best pastries in Alabama...

I have never been served a burnt or undercooked pastry in any of the excellent bakeries I have frequented. Except for Last Call. Last Call has consistently sold me both over cooked ( burnt ) and raw pastries - including a ham and cheese croissant that was leaden with so much dripping butter and raw dough that I threw it away. Today I was sold an extremely undercooked Kouigan Aman that was inedible. I give up. Never will I give them my money again.

Coffee snobs, look no further. Your search is over. Go here now…read more I had the privilege of staying in Birmingham nearby this place and checked it out after looking at the photos. And I'd love to qualify this five-star review by saying I've been traveling the United States for over 10 years and I've been to countless coffee shops from Alaska to Boston to Florida to San Diego and everything in between. I can easily say this has been a top 10 experience and if you're in Birmingham you are very fortunate that this place is here. I had a hot vanilla latte and one of the finest pastries of all time but I'm not reviewing the pastries. Both days I went in here there were two different baristas some quiet dude and then some alternative tattoo girl both of them made an absolutely exceptional hot latte. Everything I look for is here: The espresso itself is a medium-dark profile with dark chocolate, toasted almond, and brown-sugar sweetness, low bitterness, and a rounded, low-acid finish that holds its shape in milk instead of washing out. The vanilla stays clean and floral on top of that, while the milk is steamed to glossy microfoam that integrates with the shot, leaving a silky body and a long caramel-cocoa aftertaste. Perfection. Some of the best in the USA. Hats off to you.

The inside looks like an old home with paint colored walls. There's an outdoor patio that you can sit at as there's no seating inside. On this trip I ordered my pastries to go. I got the sausage croissant, apple pie danish, and a pork bun. The pork bun was pretty standard as far as pork buns go but what sets is apart is the soft chewy inside with LOTS of butter. The sausage croissant was huge with plenty of pork sausage. It's in a unique circular shape too. It's crispy, flaky and im not sure where the sausage comes from but it was great. The apple pie danish was recommended to me. I'm not the biggest apple pie or sweets fan but this was outstanding. There is a huge layer of cream underneath the apple pie portion which ties it altogether.
