Pimento and sausage biscuit.
Rebeka J.

Cute little drive through that offered a nice variety of options and speedy service. We got the pimento and sausage biscuit which was delicious and the snickerdoodle cookie which was too sweet for my liking so next time I will just get a latte with a single flavor and I'm sure it will be great.

My morning spot! They have two drive thrus and the line is always quick. Great cold brew and pimento cheese sausage biscuits!!

Found this cute little place on our last pass through Birmingham. The coffee was hot and delicious. I had Maple, one of their fall flavors, and hubby went with his M.O. - Hazelnut. Both were great. The pimento cheese sausage biscuits ("Pimausages" she called them - ha!) were delicious. I don't do biscuits very often because they're always so heavy but these were so light and flakey, just wonderful. Before we hit the road we drove up the hill and checked out The Vulcan (must see!) while we ate and sipped coffee. What a nice way to start a long day. We always stay in Birmingham when we travel back & forth from Florida to St. Louis and this will definitely be one of our regular stops!

I miss this place. The coffee is soooooo good! The flavor and caffeine combination was perfect. Also the food is really good. The portion size was just right. During my next visit to Homewood, I'm definitely stopping by to get coffee and a chicken salad sandwich. Thank You for great food and awesome customer service.

I've been here a few times to grab a coffee and I've definitely enjoyed it. Keep in mind this is just a drive-through and there's no place to sit. They are usually pretty quick about orders. I usually get the Hollywood or any of the other coffee flavor favorites they have listed. Today I decided to try the biscuit with pimento cheese. It was average and I do wish the biscuit had a little bit of butter taste on top of it. To me the biscuit was sort of dry and the whole biscuit with pimento cheese combination is a great combination, but I just wasn't overjoyed by it at this location. It was early in the morning and I tried to also order my lunch for the day, but it seems like they don't sell it in the mornings. I guess I was hoping they had already made the sandwiches that morning and I could grab one to go. As far as the pricing I would say it's pretty comparable to a Starbucks. If you need one of those little stoppers to prevent your coffee from getting cold or spilling they do have those.

This is a cute little spot to grab a cuppa coffee on the go. The service was fast, the coffee was hot, I have no complaints. The hours are limited due to Covid but they open at 6:30 AM. I just wanted a nice cup of decaf and they did not disappoint. The cashier was super friendly and this is definitely on my list to go back. They do serve other coffees, hot and cold drinks. They also serve breakfast and lunch but that menu is limited too.

Here's my thing about coffee places. Sometimes I just need a charge of caffeine and almost anything will do. Sometimes I'm in the mood for good good coffee. Lucky me, I was passing this place last week and needed a charge of caffeine in a hurry, and ended up with really good coffee. Total win. It's drive thru only, the menu is simple enough but has something for everyone, and the people we're extraordinarily friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. Can we build one of these on every corner please?

This has recently become my go-to coffee stop in the morning on the way to work downtown. With two drive-thru lanes, the line always moves quickly, and the young ladies working the windows give excellent customer service. The quality of the coffee is on point, and the pimento sausage biscuit is ten times better than anything you are going to get at that fast food chain right down the street.

Coffee was decent but way too sweet. Not my favorite spot but it was convenient to drive through if you need to grab something quick.

There wasn't line when we got there but the crowd usually follows us for some reason so by the time we left there was standing room only and a line out the door. The bakery items were very fresh and tasty. I loved the Swedish gingerbread cookies - light and crisp. The lemon bar was delicious. They also have sandwiches that liked really good. Coffee - I got a vanilla latte extra sweet (no lavender) and my daughter said it was one of the best. I thought it was pretty good. I would go again when back in Birmingham!

The young girl making the coffee was loudly talking about someone who messed up their coffee order this morning and how frustrated she was. The only other employee was occupied with what seemed a large order of bread etc. When she finished what she was doing she looked at the now five customers, claustrophobically waiting, and said I'll be right back and disappeared. Leaving the one guy serving the one customer. It was 11:30 am on a rainy day. Figured I could do without a cream cheese croissant and coffee and left. Had already waited 5 as the only other person in there and did not want to wait another undetermined amount of time. I know one of the bakers. It's a shame the front has been so bad these last two times.

This was the spot we would all come to to do homework. It's still got that same warmth and charm. I came in on a Wednesday morning to sit and do some work. I ordered a cappuccino, bran muffin, and a breakup cookie to take home. The cappuccino is just as expected. Served at the perfect temp, great flavor. The bran muffin, which was my attempt to be healthy, was really a delicious stand-out. I would definitely get that again. And, of course, the breakup cookies are some of the best cookies in town. They bake all of the baked goods in-house, I believe, which gets a round of applause from me. A lot of the recipes are still the same ones I remember from 7 years ago. One thing I noticed that's even BETTER than I remember was the books and gift selection. A lot of the books caught my eye. It's a great curation of fiction, non, memoirs, birding books, children's, etc. They also carry the Village Apothecary candles, which are made locally and have some packaging I really love. Church Street is one of the Birmingham staples. I hope they're open for a million more years. They do what they do exceptionally well.
